The middleplay, whatchamacallit - the solo-part, just blows me away every time! It's getting to be among the best guitar-pieces (or whatchamacallit) in my 30-odd years experience of listening to guitar music. I wouldn't even pretend to have an idea of how to rate any one guitar player against the vast cosmos of guitar players - but this piece of Leo's has all of it jampacked into these wee 30-40 seconds. Does the old song credit too.
I always took it as if the singer was using the word ironically. It's obviously one side of a discussion between two blue collar workers. One worker (the one not voiced in the song) called some rock star a faggot for the way he dresses on stage, and the other says, "Yeah, well, that 'faggot' is a millionaire, and we're busting our asses every day to live paycheck to paycheck."
Leo is definitely underrated a lot of times I'll see these songs come up and putting his own twist on them honestly I haven't found one that I haven't liked. better than the original artist he's a musical genius No Doubt

Love the coffee mug that’s what I feel like every day going to work just want to grab the guitar and set sail.... love your covers musically intelligent is an understatement this guy is absolutely bad a**
The middleplay, whatchamacallit - the solo-part, just blows me away every time!
КАСАВА ЧУВАК!!!! Я весь подъезд разбудил, невозможно не подпевать!
Аналогично 😁
Привет любителям забойной музыки!!!
Love that he didn’t change the lyrics
MY thoughts exactly thank you leo for such fukn awesome music... Fuck What they think

Preach yo!
Leo is definitely underrated a lot of times I'll see these songs come up and putting his own twist on them honestly I haven't found one that I haven't liked. better than the original artist he's a musical genius No Doubt
Awesome! Do "Escape (Piña Colada song)" by Rupert Holmes
In a doom metal style
That would be crazy awesome.
Or even Copa cabana. He'd kill either. Or, ya know, both lol
Damn, now I need this.
Hahaha Piña Colada. It's really curious that the letter 'Ñ' doesn't exist in English. Greetings from Costa Rica :)
I appreciate how he didn't change the lyrics at all
Yeah, I was wondering if he'd change 'that' word!
Never heard of refrigiaters before..lol.
As it should be.
Only if needed
Great HEAVY shit
@@Wheelchairwoodworker nicely done
OMG!!! That breakdown, solo's, and another breakdown! WOW!
Thank you so much, brother. I grew up listening to Dire Straits, i was singing this shit at 5 yrs old. Also, thank you for not pussing out on the lyrics. Knoffler was quoted not too long ago saying it was meant to be satirical, not hateful. Righteous cover, man!
Knopfler also said he regrets ever choosing the word, and omits it himself from live performances.
@@DShiflet01 He "regrets" the controversy and that people don't understand how it was being used, and that he has to omit it in order to avoid hurting anyone's feelings. He doesn't regret being satirical of the attitudes of people who think making a living at music is easy.
@@bhg70 Literally NOBODY said he regrets "being satirical about people thinking making a living at music is easy" so that's nice, but...irrelevant? He DID say he regrets using that word, that he didn't think about what it meant, and that if he had it to do over he would not have used it.
Geez, dude, relax. I wasn't saying you (or anyone else) had said that. I simply added it as my own comment on what he wasn't regretting vs. what he was. Obviously I've read different interviews than you. Cheers.
Damn this is bad ass. Love it. Subbed. Keep doing what your doing Leo.
Tu es vraiment le meilleur pour dépoussiérer les anciens morceaux,en respectant l'oeuvre originale
I love Frog Leap studio ans Léo
I like it. I don’t usually enjoy covers of this song. Reminds me of Knopfler too much. But this, this was good. Nice touch
Thank you for using the original non PC lyrics.
EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING !!!!
I attempted to post those lyrics to which you refer in a reply comment to you and it deleted it immediately. My comment was
But little f****ts get offended by it.
Anyway, political correctness sucks.
@@jonnyitguy they are f****ts right? What did you expect?
Agreed. Keep it real.
Yeah! The original lyrics!!!! That's awesome!

Amazing video! Keep up the good work.
I'm also from Norway, I'm 13 years old.
The other peoples in my class listen to this music from Justin Beieber or whatever it is.
I listen to Hard Rock/Heavy Metal.
Best metal covers ever
A Dogs Diaper
Hell yea little bro! Leave that mindless pop bullshit for the sheep. Be your own man!
Shame on you for calling what Justine Beeper perpetrates "music".
A Dogs Diaper I know right I'm 14 and all the kids at my school either listen to this techno bullshit or rap. They give me a weird look when i sing weezer and the offspring in the locker room, but I don't give a fuck what they think. It's actiouly worked out for me because I've got this really cute girl sweating over me so all those dumbasses can go screw off. I'm sorry for the language but there's alot of idiots at my school who think there bad ass by dissing me.
you play roblox....
