3:07 Same! Always wondered it there was a viable business in being a rule book editor/proofreader. I had ideas for it years ago (different packages, playtest offerings, etc.) but never followed through on it.
This is like your third Ticket to Ride video I’ve watched in the past few days. I really enjoy your reviews and analysis! Can’t wait to see how the final tier system plays out. Today, my physical copy of France and Old West expansion arrived and will give Old West its first play at a six player count. I do have Asia and have played it with 6 player teams prior to the pandemic. Need to reboot it and see how it works in comparison to the Old West. While I have several Ticket to Ride stand alone games and expansion maps, I am lacking a 2 -3 player map, such as Nordic Countries or Switzerland. Looks like Nordic Countries may be the better choice, if I’m to make the plunge.
Spoiler alert I'm a pretty big fan of Old West 😤😯 I hope it goes well!! Yeah for a 3 player I'd definitely go Nordic Countries over Switzerland. Thanks for watching!! And have fun playing :)
Yeah definitely one of the weirder rules to ever be added. I'm not sure if Alan ever made another route behave distinctly differently like that ever again. I suppose Japans bullet train could count as something similar, but that feels like it's own mechanic entirely. Thanks for watching :)
Can you please rate Italy and Japan those are my two favorites Also what are your thoughts on the new ticket to ride map pack coming out in june. Iberia and South Korea
Japan will most likely be my next ticket video 👀👀 I'm working on a huge Root video atm, but I'm going to take a break from that to work on some smaller stuff soon most likely. The Iberia rules look sick, the drafting mechanic looks really cool to me and imo has the potential to be one of the best ways of distributing routes. I'll have to see how it sticks the landing! Korea looks interesting too, I've always found the route colors being next to each other in Africa a pretty neat mechanic, so I'm interested to see how Alan changes it up on his second attempt at it!
I crossed into another dimension when the three routes lit up down the board
😈😈

Ticket to Ride Northern Lights kinda answers this question: the replacement of the cards can happen only on a ferry spot.
I somehow didn't even know this existed until this comment
We were missing your ticket to ride inputs 🔥

Missed you mate. Glad you covered the Murmansk-Lieksa route and special rule, that caught me out until I played the app where it makes mention of it.
