One of the coolest reoccurring perk in the fallout series is tge mysterious stranger: there is a random chance in VATS (at least for fallout 3, 4, and new vegas; fallout 1 and 2 are turn based) for a man in a trench coat with a 44 magnum to appear and 1 shot your enemies before disappearing without a word. He even has a distinct jingle when he appear. No one knows who this mysterious stranger is or why he saves you, he just does

It is, but you need to invest points in the pickpocket perk, also makes it easier, to the point last rank allows you to take equipped gear and weapons in some cases
A fun thing to do in FO4 if you have high enough Sneak and Pickpocketing, you can sneak up on an enemy in Power Armor, pickpocket the fusion core right out the armor and force them out of it for an easier kill.
I always liked having a high Intelligence and Charisma, followed by Endurance. I like having lots of skill points, being able to talk down crazy situations and being tough to kill.
The first 2 SPECIAL I usually focused on were Perception and Endurance, especially if water and food are a factor. But usually Endurance had a perk, Aquaboy/Aquagirl that removed radiation damage while swimming/in water so that was invaluble early on with not many anti-radiation equipment. Perception because you can detect enemies and landmarks at a greater distance, meaning more time to plan or prepare for an encounter rather than suddenly being shot at or attacked and not knowing where it came from
Endurance is usually what I build in these games. Always look for ways to regenerate or build health so harder to kill. Sounds like Aquaboy/girl is essential 🙂

These really take me back! Like Bethany, I do appreciate using the acronym to divvy out the stats you can improve - one of the many things that makes the Fallout world just dripping with atmosphere and flavor! But, like Ken, I love my agility. Unlike Ken, though, it's mainly because I LOVE my stealth builds, and Agility is the go-to stat for sneaking around and setting up sneak attack critical hits for Fallout. These were fun to watch individually the first time, as the game would install in the background, but after a while, I had to just mute the sound and find something else to do until it was installed and ready to play.
Also, the insane thing about this game is that it takes until nearly level 300 if you want to get every point of every skill and have a 10+ rating in every *S.P.E.C.I.A.L.* stat, but even wilder, although I don’t know why anyone would try, is that you can theoretically level up to level 65535, but if you leveled up again after that, the game will crash, as that would cause the player's level to be set to 0, but the minimum player level is 1. It’s sort of analogous to the kinds of things people feared might happen with the Y2K scare - but real LOL.

What I expected, was your reáctions to the segment of game play, during which you allocate points to each category as your create your character. Your character is reading a book for toddlers in what makes you what the acronym says.
Someone on TH-cam made a theory that Vault-Tec in the Fallout games were the ones that caused the Neuclear Explosion
Been a fan of the Fallout games since the 1st game... I can't wait for the Live Action TV show to finish filming and come out..
The Bloody Mess perk is amongst my favourite in Fallout. Gory but fun.
Even more amusing, there are certain interactions that can happen only if you put almost nothing into intelligence.
The funny thing is, in one of the Fallout 4 DLCs, you get a paddle ball weapon...
I have 6858.2 hours in Fallout 4 as of today, I play on PC with about 300 "Mods." I don't think there is much Fallout content I haven't seen, but it was fun watching the reactions.
4:55 you guys would be great voice actors hahahaha 🤣👌
Not only the factors they say but there are skill checks like you can intimidate someone but only if you have 8 strength. And in new vegas a 10 luck means your going to get blackjack 75% of the hands your delt in the casino.
0:02 LOVE the intro art hahaha 😂👌 you could make your own mini animated show or comic with that haha, like the Fallout vid you're reacting to hahaha 😂👌☺️👍
Of all the clips, I like Charisma the best. The scene with bear is perfect. :D
Yup. Loved that scene 😍
Low intelligence playthroughs have the funniest responses from characters.
I always go for Lady’s Luck favorite guy 😂
I think you guys would love Internet Historian
A channel we plan to check out at some point 🙂
Mine is charisma. I do settlement builds and I need it for my relationship with certain companions and to barter
those arent crabs those are mirelurks
I loved these videos back in the day.
It wasn't a thing in Fallout 4, but in New Vegas the game would actually reward you at times if you had an incredibly low intelligence level. You could fumble your way upwards through stupidity or people would just feel bad for you because of how dumb you were and help you out of pity. It even had effects on your own dialogue when your intelligence was low enough to reflect that your character was actually just a moron.
Makes me want to play Fallout 4 again for the 34th time
The Hollywood backdrop....that is all.
Such nice video. I go with per + agi + luck and pistols with enough points in others to unlock weaponsmithing for those ridiculously powerfull pistol headshot criticals on multiple targets with upgraded weapons.
1:52 this weapon is extremly powerful in the game xD
What makes Fallout such a great series is its sense of retro-futurism. I would almost rather live in that reality than our own, without the whole nuclear wasteland aspect anyway.
Now they need to do the Dan Bull Special rap.
How did vault tec know what the radiated creature would be like
The only game that took me a whole year and a half to finish.
If you haven't you should definitely check out Dan Bull's S.P.E.C.I.A.L rap after this. He made each verse using alliteration its really great.
0:34 love the artstyle, and the Narration is nostalgic and what I would stereotype Americans talking as had I not know much about america hahaha 😂👌 reminds me of old cartoons when I was a kid in elementary, Looney toons and stuff hahaha 😂👌 I miss those simpler times.
1:47 there's a mod to put the actual bat into the game, its one of my favorites, plus the description
_guarafuckingteed to make someone piss their pants_
YYYYYYEEEEESSSSS
I'VE WAITED FOR THIS
I just forgot to look for this
Hey glad you found it 🥳🥳 we have playlists for the franchises we react to so if there is one franchise in particular you like (like Fallout) can always check those to see if you missed anything and save it to your TH-cam library 😊 th-cam.com/play/PLzMaVaJ7UYI1IPc0NP3U6Kv9yM24ow4GL.html
Aw dang I thought you were watching the video from dan bull, but eh this is cool too :) the nostalgia is hitting either way.
YESS OMG FINALLY 😍😂🤣 cant wait to watch the video!
There is a very very good fanmade in the style of the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. videos: Friendship! Fallout 4 Prody by Piemations
Otherwise, thanks for this great video :)
Thanks for the video recommendation 🙂
Still playing fallout 4 still until 5 comes out
Fallout 4 was my favorite game.
I heavily recommend looking up a video that talks about some of the cool creatures of the fallout series, unfortunately i can't find any good all encompassing video, so the best i can find to recommend is "10 most disgusting creatures in fallout history".
You should also check out the Fallout 76 Survival guide videos!
The joke with the paddle ball in the Strength video is that the paddle ball is actually a weapon in one of the DLCs, and it can be upgraded to be surprisingly useful.
I like charisma and intelligence since you can build many settlements but you are limited in what you can get without those stats.
You guys should react to the Mortal Kombat Onslaught opening. It's amazing
All the jump cuts were meant to play after each special, showing skills you can pick up under each, not at the end like done here.
if you ever get more into the weird world of Fallout, you could check out the story of the vault, Oxhorn made quite alot of fun document like story for those vaults though it is a bit long
