This is the best demo of how to install the backup camera. I watched about 10 other videos which werent as well explained so thank you.
Great video. Thank you especially for showing the cabling - how to route it, how to connect it, etc. This is the part that always stumps me on projects, especially when most instructions and instructional videos just say some thing like: step 1. install the monitor on the dash, step 2. install the cabling, step 3. install the camera. I'm always like "HOW do you do step 2??!??!!".
Great detail on the [complicated!] installation process. So helpful compared to the bare-bones instruction page.
As my mechanic told me after he installed mine, it was so much easier with the pickup I owned before.

nice video with good explanations, the only thing i would say is when you cut the notch for the wire behind the backup light, i would put some tape or some heat shrink around that part of the wire because you have it against the metal of the car. With the opening and closing of the trunk and just vibration, it will eventually cut the wire in that spot and cause issues.

I installed mine on my Chevy Tahoe but the camera has night vision, no need for LED's but it looks pretty much the same as this one!. Forgot to mention that the back up camera is hooked up to the head unit/stereo screen instead!,

Hello, I just installed a Pyle backup camera PLCM38 FRV to the Esky monitor. However the image on the monitor is flipped. Tried both AV1 and AV2 video inputs but unable to get the monitor to orient the image correctly. I don’t see any available settings on the monitor to change the image orientation. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!
I just get a car license plate rear ire cámara, but these one is deferent to the o e you showing in your video these one has 8 red little light. But it does bring all the wires. Now mi question is because I didn’t know I didn’t get the screen were can I get it as the speaker said in the video it just coast 22.00$ .

Connection in truck was confusing. Ie red wire on power connect to light or red wire on video feed cable or do both connect to hot on light and black to light ground. Nor did you show ground Connection up front

Where’s the chassis ground?
Do you cut a slot on the licence plate frame as well? Otherwise the wire gets smashed between the car body and the plate, which with time will cause it to fail.
Just take the license plate frame off..

You will have to check the laws in your local area. Some places are stricter than others, for whatever reason.
