    You probably figured it out by now, next time only use a 1 foot long piece to pound the support in. It will help right from the beginning, you won't have to be swinging as high up to hit the top, which makes it more awkward.
    I've installed quite a few of them and learned that valuable lesson after the first one. It will lessen the chance of you tearing your rotator cuff.

    seen so many handy people using that milwaukee multi head driver...I have the gyroscopic dewalt screwdriver and all several brand drills, etc. but it seems nice. the main selling points for me are the right angle and the offset but the fact that it also comes with a chuck means unlike my dewalt I can use drill bits up to 3/8". my only issue with it is the direction swap is a button on top instead of a switch on the side. Keep up the good work man. compared to the people, the jobs are the easy part!

      The funny thing is that 99 % of the time I'm not using the drill to the full potential. I'm just used to it, it's a weird drill. I definitely abuse it!!

      @@thehandymanexperience226 for me the most important part is how long the tool lasts..with the economy being as hard as it is a lot of us (myself included) don't always have a festool/snap on budget lol

    You've been working on the railroad all the livelong day 😆. I've never had luck with thoes post supports they just lead to callbacks within a year. Cost me more in the long run. If you ever have a sketchy roof the easiest way to deal with it is this contraption I made. I glued 3ft by 3ft peice of frp to a peice of plywood made 2 of them(size up or down as you see fit). I put a door pull on the plywood with a rope tied to it. You can stand on one move the other and limp your way on a heavly damaged roof. The frp is smooth hard plastic that won't damage the roof and for bonus points you can put pipe insulation on the edges of your roof crawlers. They also work when your snaking a clean out or drain outside to get your equipment on or over a hole. Stay safe don't bust a sweat 😆 !

      Hahahha, that a cool way to make a roof hopper!. Yea I bought the roof hopper or what ever it's called cus I got sick of turning jobs down even when they weren't too bad cus of the slope

    • @MattHmm-rq6dn
      @MattHmm-rq6dn 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I just looked up roof hopper that's neat I may buy one. No the things made was for sketchy roofs that arnt safe to walk on and you may fall through it soft spots ect. There only purpose is to distribute the weight over joist or seams at any given time. So many trailer roofs with 2x3s for joist that are 50 plus years old never leave it to chance.

      I was waiting for someone to give me a hard time swinging the sludge lol 😆 I knew it once I started swinging and I was like screw it lol 😆 but u know what I would rather have my subscribers giving me a hard time than the random viewer lol I know ur just giving me a hard time. Anytime u see me grabbing a hammer or my fisher price hammer, I'm always grabbing it closer it might be harder but I'm looking for control. I'm a bull in a China store lol

      This is true 👍 lol but u still have to provide value. It wasn't perfect, took me some time. It makes me better but ur right sometimes stuff shouldn't take me so long for what I'm getting paid for. It's a hard medium to balance. The only thing going for me is my quality and me getting work done

    I've went through my fair share of aprenntices. I've even signed a couple of them up for plumbing school. But none of them were worth a fk. But they were all young 18-25 yr Olds. Times a different now and these kids are worthless. I have a good helper now that is 40 and he works his ass off. He doesn't show up for a day or two every few weeks but at least he knows his shit and actually helps me

      This is true but I have to take the drain apart and test for leaks and snake. I run the water to test for leaks but I don't always fill the sink. Yes it costs money like $10 per drain. But the ease of use and I just wait and maybe plunge makes it all worth it lol 😆. TOM lol don't get me started with the sticker u and me both know that sticker won't come off. I can't tell u how many times I took stickers off to be disappointed to see it's paper and leaves half the paper on. Lol over here ruffling up my feathers 🪶 🤣 😂 🙃
