Self talk is so important and we also need to hold ourselves accountable!! "Soon" cannot stay soon at some point something needs to change or nothing will change! *I say as I just had a cookie and left over cheesecake today while doing 75 soft* Once I read something (it honestly might've been in atomic habits cant remember) that basically said we don't tell ourselves "Oh I deserve water" or "I deserve a salad" but we tell ourselves that about other options we known aren't the healthiest to make ourselves feel better. That stuck with me cause its so true.
I am where you were last year, times 1000. I’ve never eaten healthy, I’ve never worked out. I was raised on fast food, fried food, and I smoke. I have been wanting to change all of that for about 4 years now. You motivate me in ways I can’t explain. You give me hope and remind me that we all start in the same place, and we grow at our own pace and it’s okay to mess up along the way. Please do more meal videos, I’m trying everything I see you make. And if you don’t mind, please do some work out videos. I’ve gone to the gym twice and am clueless so I just do treadmill and then leave embarrassed. You are helping me so much girlie, and congrats on how far you’ve come! I hope to get there too. ❤
You can do this! I discovered at planet fitness the consultation with a trainer is free. I made an appt and he helped me understand what to do to achieve my goals. Diet, what exercises, which equipment, how many calories goal, focus is to lose more than what I’m eating. I didn’t realize how little protein I was taking! Every day is a new day to start over. You got this!! The kitchen part might be hard considering your upbringing but I love that you have the desire to change all that. Start with swapping one meal for a nice salad topped with a pan seared fish fillet or chicken. Or a protein packed smoothie (find a protein powder you love). Cheering you on!

I do Kelly Leveque’s fab 4 shake. It’s Protein, fat, fiber and greens. I use protein powder, kale, 1 tbsp chia seed and flax seed, 1/4 cup frozen fruit and 1 tbsp MCT oil or nut butter.

Also after getting into a flow of eating healthy again makes your body feel so good and light again I love it.
