    • @christopheralonge7758
      @christopheralonge7758 3 ปีที่แล้ว +58

      They kept that same 1340cc motor. The zx 14r is still 100cc larger. More torque more horsepower. As 14r is still king. This is just a euro5 refresh. Nothing more

      Same old 1340cc engine with less hp and worse fuel range? This 2021 model introduction is generating the opposite reaction that the first Hayabusa model did back in 1998, so much disappointment. What happened to the rivalry between the Japanese motorcycle companies? I was hoping for a more powerful TURBO engine to challenge the supercharged Kawasaki...🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

The move towards technical dashes is almost entirely driven by reviewers convincing buyers that they want a modern display without old school clunky clocks. It's amazing how different they are. I had a Ducati ST2 for years until it was stolen. Such an emotional experience every time I rode it (and got the servicing bills). Then I bought a Super Blackbird - totally different bike, beautiful smooth power delivery but not the same emotive experience (but fun at 260+ km/h!!). Sold her 10 years ago and 3 years ago bought a Ninja 1000, which is great in the city, more upright and more comfortable for my neck, but equally happy in the twisties or on a long trip with gear (and my wife or son/daughter). Ultimately, it's just great to be on a bike! :-)

      Remember, with Busa, form follows function. The new model is extremely aerodynamic. Without doubt in a league of its own in that regard.
      Also, the drag race community are licking their lips. Suzuki have designed in an ability to make and boost incredible amounts of power with incredible reliability. Much more so even than gen 2. This thing will dominate on drag race tracks across the world.

I slowed down for fear of getting a ticket. I was from 50 to 140 back to 50 in about three seconds. It was incredible. What I say to the Gixer riders that say the Busa can't corner with them is, "I would rather pass you on the straight than work my ass off in the corners anyway".
