The struggle we had was pulling the dishwasher off the counter coz there were the two hidden brackets on both sides that you warned viewers about. What they held, we don't know. We only found them after we yanked with all our might. We were about to give up but we kept going back to your video and we told ourselves that you made it look easy! Glad we pushed through. We returned it back with no issues, leveled properly and basket was smoothly rolling again. God bless you! ❤
Once again, Bootstrappin to the rescue. My Maytag dishwasher came with a 10-year factory warranty on the top and bottom racks. Guess what? The rails are covered under the warranty. Saved me $88 + shipping. Always register your appliance warranty and keep a copy in a file. Thanks for a great video!
How did you get maytag(whirpool) to send you the warranty parts ( is it just the rails or the racks as well? ) . I called them and they said they need to send a service person to first inspect ( charging 120$) before they can know which parts are needed. Is there a way to just claim warranty on these parts ? please advise steps you took. thank you in advance.

Thanks a bunch for this vid. I came here because my top rack rails are not sliding fully in, and need to be pressed to get fully iinside the door. Had you experienced that? I am wondering if mine are at the point they are about to fail like yours did. The rail seems on an angle with the weight of the rack on it.
Never mind, I just re-watch at the 6:00 min mark, you have a slightly different slider that me. Mine has wheels which roll and slide. You have clip in rails.
Hello I have an emergency, my Maytag just stopped. The elecrical wires I checked they are still intact. Thats how it looks. The breaker is okay. Could the filter system be the problem to shut it down completely?
I'm not sure. Are there any lights on, does the machine respond to button presses? I would start by turning the breaker to the machine off for 1 minute, and turning it back on. That may help it reset.

The Gunga is strong with dishwashers. I have had many battles with the dreaded Gunga that lurks in my Bosch. You would think, the very device that is tasked with the duty of washing would eradicate the Gunga and leave behind a pristine environment, but no. Looks as if you have a can of Rapid Tap Cutting Fluid on the floor. Has Rapid Tap Cutting Fluid some mystical power over the Gunga that its mere presence assist in eradicating the Gunga?
Show me a maintenance free dishwasher and I'll find you a fella selling a bridge for "a good price". The battle against the gunga is never truly over, and I'm suspecting this is the gunga's revenge on me. The cutting fluid was the only thing I had on hand to serve as WD-40 - was trying to lubricate the threads on those feet; it's power over gunga is still unknown.
Ok so I fixed the rail. Easy peasy, right? Now my dishwasher won’t fill with water. What could I possibly have done to make that happen? And yes the water is turned back on. Lol
Hmm that's strange. Couple of things come to mind. Check to make sure you didn't pinch the water supply line when you pushed the dishwasher back in. May also help to turn the breaker to the dishwasher off for 10-15 seconds, then turning it back on again, in case something wonky happened with the circuit board.
