In the Army especially during training, suffering actually made us more united as a unit, and sanctified us in a worldly sense. Spiritual suffering manifested in the suffering of this world is even more powerful. Great video kiddo!

I am not articulate enough nor educated well enough to convey to you properly how gifted you are, how much appreciated and how you are undeniably living in God’s divine will as you are the sunshine in my morning that without a doubt God has sent me and the many others out there who desperately need this message right now.
So much gratitude and love for you. ❤ thank you

No need for fancy words to express gratitude and affection for someone.
I've mastered the art of self-loathing, yet I don't like seeing people being needlessly hard on themselves! A bit of a paradox going on. That being said, she is indeed gifted. And from the look of it, truly loves God, which is no smal feat in this day and age.

@@judygorham1060 Purgatory seems like a pretty sweet deal to me. many times I've heard it described in pretty harsh terms, but one particular saint, a woman, said souls there are happier than anyone on Earth. I do realize my soul is in need of a thorough cleansing, but I don't see that happening here on Earth, too many distractions, anxieties, lure of sin, love of money, my innermost wounds constantly being revived, my fear of humiliation and rejection etc. And, apart from my closed ones, I could pray for Faustina, for her religious vocation. Meaning, oblation (self-giving) fulfillment are probably not possible down here due to a myriad of reasons. Life has been a constant uphill battle.
Oh and thank you for your prayers. I'm tired of doing life to be honest. Hopefully, God can be merciful and cut it short. I sense that this year is a pivotal year, not just for me but for the whole world.

@@phoenixaz8431 Oh, how I’d love to sit down and talk with you in person! Yes, purgatory is a sweet deal, straight from Our Lord’s merciful heart! But there are even sweeter paths! There are many aspects of purgatory that God has allowed to be revealed through mystics, as well as through natural human reason. What you have said about the souls in purgatory being happy is true: they know they will one day be with God for the rest of eternity, and therefore endure their painful purification with joy! They also have sweet sips of joy from visits from Mother Mary, as well as relief from the souls on earth who offer their prayers and pains on their behalf. There is definitely joy in the suffering, but it is also great suffering… surely the greatest suffering they have endured. Suffering purgation on earth is much easier and more efficacious than in purgatory. I pray that soon… very soon… God reveals to you how much He loves you. I pray that you are able to trust Him.
I definitely understand what you call “distractions” that prevent you from offering your purgatory on earth. So does Jesus. That’s one reason He gave us Divine Mercy Sunday. To some, it may seem unjust. But to God, it’s perfectly just for his purposes and loving designs. On that day, you can receive full pardon of all your sins, including remission of the punishment due them. That means no purgatory for anything in your life up to that point. It’s a clean slate, as if you were a newborn. And the really amazing part is that, unlike other indulgences, you don’t have to have “complete detachment” from sin. Just an acknowledgement of your sinfulness through the sacrament of confession, and reception of Holy Communion! It’s the greatest indulgence offered, and also the easiest to obtain! I urge you to consider this over the next year until Divine Mercy Sunday comes around again. Think about the Mercy of God and the reckless love He has for you. I intend to come back to that reckless love, but first…
At some point, definitely at your death, but perhaps also before, God is going to make you understand His love and the purpose of all your misery. You will have a choice… to accept that love or to reject it. And He will honor your choice. If you reject His love, it will hurt Him so incredibly deeply. He will not send you to hell. You will have chosen it. Imagine His wounded heart!
I have a different impression of you, and pray that I’m right. I do think you’ll say yes to His love.
I’m not finished with what I want to say to you, but have to stop for now. I’ll be back. Today, hopefully.

I know I'm repeating but , Bernadette she was such a Saint. Fasting was normal for her. They were poor and she was asthmatic and the last years she got cancer and never complained. Me, I'm 61, and now I start to have many little paines. Pain in my back, pain in the shoulder, pain in my knee. When I was younger I had severe headaches. Then I was making long walks and prayed while walking. Many times I have offered the pain for the salvation of souls.

Faustina unfortunately reading through the comments not everyone everyone understands what suffering is about. It can take a long time and alot of studying.
For a third of a century I have suffered from the worst case of Trigeminal Neuralgia that doctors have ever seen. This is the worst pain that the body can create. On top of that twenty two years ago I had a spinal surgery that made the pain worse and caused major damage through out my nervous system. Does it get old? yes. Am I angry? No
I wish that I could remember something that Padre Pio said about suffering. Basically what I just said but with much more wisdom.
I do miss my work, friends, hobbies and watching a sunset. But I have gained something much more precious. I am glad that I have came across your channel you have alot of wisdom for your age. Keep putting it to good use. Andy

As if remaining perfect in the Garden placed second... paling in comparison to fighting for our grace given love for Him. Pain and suffering is a throne ladened walk of partaking of Christ's hand, His nearness, His full on embrace of a blinding light that causes us to see the pure bliss of eternity ❤❤❤.

Out of an inhuman cruel treatment, I suffer severe anxiety aka PTSD. The help of a Psychiatrist and prescribed meds kept me going. But the fear and dread experience remain. The medical intervention merely made me stronger to endure the suffering. Attending the Holy Eucharist is such a struggle. And I find it a miracle everytime am able to get out of our home. Never in my life have I suffered a lot. Since 2019 I survived thru the Diary of St. Faustina and the Blue Book-Fr.S Gobbi. I don't know how to do life anymore and I sensed this for years now. It is grace on a daily basis that is sustaining me. For more than few times, I pleaded that the Lord takes me. All that was said in your video is truth except that when you are drowned in suffering, as in my case, I struggle to make sense of my fears and dread. Hoping to find or to be found by the holy joy you speak about.

    • @faustinagorham1891
      @faustinagorham1891  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through.
I would like to point out that even though you are drowning in pain, you still have faith and are still loving God, even to the point of fighting for it. I would like to point out that this is proof of an incredible amount of grace in your soul. I think you would be surprised if you knew how beautiful you looked in God’s eyes and in the eyes of the entire Celestial Court. And if you could see how He is using you to be a powerhouse of faith for countless souls who don’t even want to love Him... Yet you are fighting to love Him and fighting to have faith. He is using your suffering love to help Him save souls. Just like Saint Faustina.
If you were to contemplate this reality and the opportunity you are being presented with, I have a feeling you would begin to feel that holy joy you desire will find you.
It is a lie that your sufferings are useless. The truth is that God is putting you in the position to be a saint if you want. The devil will whisper to you that this is a silly and that only special people can be holy like that but don’t listen to that voice. Because God is inviting you to something great. He is inviting you to be a victim soul, to have a great share in His own redemptive life.

Thank you Faustina. Bless everyone naturally so. There's a forgotten Latin term: Ludus Amoris. Suffering is simply caused by the Veil of separation. Now. The Veil of separation exists for Love and Love alone. If we realize this; then Life becomes a little bit easier to bare. Sure. We will still have pain but we will also understand we are but the eternal One and that the purpose of the eternal One, and as such Life, and We, is but Love. And that makes it easier. As they say. Truth will set you free. No need to agree. Opinions vary by design (see above).

band of brothers? I worked in a team, i would sweat up three times a day, buckets of sweat. and after years i came up with a phrase... where do you go to Surrender. As the work never seemed to end. We emptied houses in Glasgow, for lawyers. Someone died? Their house contents had to go to auction. So we would invade a house. Some houses took an hour? other mansions took a week. I started as an atheist and ended as a christian. You see how everyone lived. What they collected in life. All their strange things. I found a grenade in a cupboard in Glasgow. It had a faulty pin, and the police took it away. a live grenade. We did this job for 12 years. I say 12 years a slave. Suffering is a good teacher. It teaches humility. A rich man gets no education? Comfort is spoiling people. They do not need God. I wonder if Marathon runners who sweat buckets are inclined to Christianity? what percentage?

    Hello Faustina.
Do you think to suffer is easier to women than to men and giving yourself and your whole existence to Jesus?
What do you receive at the communion is it bread and wine or just bread?

I have never thought of if it is easier form men or for women, but I believe it is easier for the childlike.
At communion I receive the bread, but depending on the day sometimes I have the wine as well. I don’t believe it is bread and wine though, it is truly the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus! Truly present in every particle of the bread and every particle of the wine

I recognize what you say Faustina. As the teaching on eating the flesh and drinking the blood of Jesus, which caused many to walk away, the fact that God has no interest in putting a stop to what has plagued me my entire life causes me to not want a relationship with God. I'd have no beef/issue with God if there was an ''abort'' button to push if one comes to the conclusion that he wants no part in God's creation/system. Missing Heaven doesn't faze me, seeing my temporal curses made eternal does. The feliz culpa made millions have terrible, tragic lives, has causes untold misery, has caused hundreds of millions to end up in eternal misery. Nobody cares about God showing the amplitude of his love if that was the cost.🙄

Why do you say God has no interest in ending your suffering? He is the only one who can and he will.Ask and it will be done.pray the Jesus prayer .Let go and trust in him.For the glory of God it will be done,I promise

@@bobandnancygoodheart9473 Proof is in the pudding. God is omnipotent. If someone with lots of money in his pocket walks by a homeless man, sees him but ignores him, you know he has no interest in helping him. Idem with God and me. If I had an important, crucial meeting tomorrow morning, something that could change the shitty destiny God pushed down my throat, and I asked God to please grant me a good night's sleep, is it within his power to do it? Yes. Would he do it? No.
Conclusion : God has no interest in giving me a good life, to stop the things plaguing me from plaguing me. He knit me wonderfully in my mother's womb to lose, I'm the furthest from well-equipped to face life, to defeat this bitch we call life, to thrive in it. It took so much just to barely function. When you suck, you have to put in 10 times the effort that someone with a sharp mind, with gifts and talents has to expend
At any point in time, God could have favorably responded to my pleas for help and healing. Both *easily* and *at absolutely no cost* to him. If you could choose someone's life for the better by spending 1/1000th of a penny, would you do it? God wouldn't. My life is shit, but not a tough puzzle to crack for the creator and the giver of life. If he can but won't, then I know he doesn't will my good/happiness/prosperity. As simple as that.

I can’t possibly imagine what you are going through. I’m sure I haven’t suffered anywhere near as much as you have. I don’t have any answer to give you about why you have been given such a difficult time in life, but I know that God can handle your anger. I know that He is happy when you are honest with Him. It’s okay to be mad at God.
I know it doesn’t seem like it, but if you asked for healing you WILL receive it when the timing is perfect. If you have asked Him “why” then you WILL see an answer when the time is right.
I know this sounds crazy, but I believe that God has something really special planned for you. He is always closest to the brokenhearted. And He chooses the ones who are most beaten down and rejected to be transformed into the greatest saints. Your life isn’t over yet and your existence will never be over. This is all the beginning and I promise that one day it will make sense.

@@faustinagorham1891Of course, if I died today and by some miracle of God's mercy (I was raised a Catholic, so I did pray Rosaries, and I've prayed (and/or sung) some of the Divine Mercy Chaplet at different times etc.) was granted purgatory, of course all of those humiliations, losses, all those disappointments, rejections, moments of despair etc., all of them would seem like nothing.
I'm not able to not be angry with God over the conditions of my living, the hand (of cards) I was dealt, my prospects, the pot the potter made me. I've often thought that if Christ was still walking the Earth, I'd move heaven and earth to be able to touch his garment. Whatever primordial wound has plagued me, I'd like for him to remove. I don't know what it's like to not live in fear, feeling inferior and inadequate, in shame etc.
I *know* how easy and effortless, at exactly no cost to him, it would be for God to fix me/my life. My anger with him comes from that : I know God is omnipotent. And since he's omniscient, and prescient, I don't get how he can simultaneously love me and create for me for a life of misery, stagnation, adversity etc. I'm truly perplexed. Oh well.
      Be blessed, Mary Faustina.
Edit : You look like a younger Nathalie Portman on your profile pic. It struck me the 1st time I saw it/you.

Suffering is just that, suffering. There’s nothing redeeming about it. We tolerate it, overcome it if we can, are overcome by it but it should never be welcomed as some sort of divine blessing in disguise.

I'm a cradle and lapsed Catholic, and the Catholics' view on suffering has always annoyed me. But since it is said that God loves a contrite, a broken spirit, they may be on to something. Suffering seems to be God's love currency. As for myself, I could never love or respect someone who doesn't want me happy, healthy and thriving *in this life* In a way we all seem to be unwilling/unwitting extras in a cosmic play put together for the amusement and pleasure of God. God is a father who has children so they make him look good, but not for their own sake.

The point Faustina was making is there is invincible joy in suffering. You are participating in the redemption of mankind when you offer your suffering to God, when you unite your suffering with Jesus’s suffering you grow in love of God and others which is the whole point of this journey we call life. Give everything to God and to His children and you will have joy in suffering on earth and infinite joy in heaven. Peace be with you.

@@cristinabryan7098 perhaps but it sounds like what’s being said is we should rationalize our suffering. But God is consistent because He was angry at his wayward children so instead of destroying them he sent His innocent Son to be tortured, to suffer, and ultimately to be murdered. All so the Father”s desire for Vengeance would be satisfied. It just seems like a form of child abuse.

    • @cristinabryan7098
      @cristinabryan7098 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

Not child abuse…infinite love and mercy. We are so deeply loved by the Father that He gave His only Son that we may have life in Him. He loves us and wants us all to be united to Him. God is our creator and source of life. We are nothing and yet He loves us and desires that we all turn back to Him!! My God and my All!

@@cristinabryan7098 The way God loves us is not something that the vast of majority of human beings understand love to be.
If God *truly* loved us, he'd offer Heaven at a high price, and if we didn't measure up or didn't feel like doing what he demands of us, there'd be annihilation of the soul awaiting us. Otherwise, God's ''gift'' of life is a tragic parody of a gift. I never was a fan of life or of the giver of life. Seems like I was trapped when God allowed my conception, intrauterine life and birth to happen. A raw deal is what I got. So a fan of God I am not.
