    Faustina, I’m 68 and I listen to all your videos. I’m trying to learn more about divine will. You explain it so simply. Please don’t stop teaching us (I believe God is behind you and so you won’t be able to stop teaching us 😊) May God continue to shine through you! Thank you!! ❤

    What comes to mind is our total self givenness to God, to truth, to charity, in a word CONSECRATION. You have this gift of "A TEACHER". Truly all is grace.Like the Divine Mercy, devotion is translated to a life in His Love, Yes, in His Will. Hoping to listen again from you. You are radiating with what fills you. Our prayers for you and your family.

    Faustina, this teaching is very beautiful and thorough. The more you read, and the more you strive to grow, as you said round 39:38 timestamp, I believe this is what Jesus calls "profound study". Yes he answers prayers! What a time of life we are living in to have this amazing gift, and all around us the world is degrading. Detachment is survival now, and repairing for all. Blessings to you.

    For years in my life I believe the wise whisper of the spirit had been trying to guide me. But I would not want to listen. I do have a desire, but feel I can't let go all the way. Thanks

    • @faustinagorham1891
      @faustinagorham1891  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      I used to feel that way too.
      I just kept asking Him to change the desires of my heart and to detach me from what was holding me back from going all the way.
      It was not the easiest prayer to pray because it was scary to decide to let go, but He made everything so very easy once I started asking for help. I prayed every day for Him to help me want to want to let go all the way and after a few months I felt quite different.
      He isn’t pushy and He doesn’t rush you. It was little by little until I realized one day that I was flying and I couldn’t believe how far I had come. Well, now I'm living in total freedom, peace and invincible joy and I want you to know that you can have it too because I was exactly where you are. You don’t have to do it by yourself, the quickest way is to be like a little child and let Him carry you up the stairs. (Shoutout to St. Therese)

    This is the best teaching of Living in the Divine Will I have ever heard. Many DW teachers ommits the total sacrifice of and death to self in order to obtain the gift of living in the DW, they only see the glorious side of it, as a result many ego driven people want this gift to gain power, sanctity, higher position in heaven etc. They have no concept of co'-redemptrix suffering with Christ, detachment of every tie of this low world, and empty out everything that is not of the Will of God from within are pre-requisit to the soul in order to be clothed with Christ and filled by His Love and Divine Will. Thinking that by simply asking the gift they are already living in the Divine Will. They are no different from Protestants who think by believing in Jesus Christ they have obtained the gift of redemption, and will go to heaven when they die.

      That’s such a great analogy of what’s happening! There are some sections in the writings that seem to say it’s super easy and all you have to do is ask once, but then other sections that seemingly contradict those sections. They go together and inform each other of how exactly each section should be interpreted. We can’t cherry pick the sections of the writings that support our thought, we need to read the volumes in their entirety, digest them and allow them to form our thought. And it’s the exact same thing that some Christians do with scripture. Some sections seem to say all you need is to believe, but then what about “Faith without works is dead.”
      It sounds like you have some insights on the gift learned through experience. Honestly I would love to ask you some questions to get your perspective. There are so many things I want to understand deeper and gain clarity on. :) If you’d be open to this, feel free to send me an email and we can workshop this thing faustinagorham@gmail.com

      Anyone can give their wills to God, no matter how much they struggle. It doesn’t matter what it is that the struggle is against. Besides, we all start out addicted to something. For most of us, it’s our ego.
      If someone sincerely desires to be free of their addiction, whatever it may be, and give their wills to God without secretly holding back, then they will be free!
      God will never violate our freedom to grasp onto our security blanket. He won’t take it from us unless we let go and give Him permission to take it.

    The cross on the wall is an idol to many churches across the world it is bowed to and used to have safety in cars and homes and put on alters with candles and incense. If God gives you the gift of doing his will 24/7, does that mean you can no longer sin?

    • @waldwassermann
      @waldwassermann 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In my opinion sin means motion. Hence why nobody is without sin. Without sin or motion there would be no life and without life we would not be able to love. It all goes back to genesis 2:18. The word became flesh for love.

    • @faustinagorham1891
      @faustinagorham1891  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Hello friend :)
      I believe sin is the exact opposite and enemy of love. Jesus had life/motion but was without sin. He is our example to imitate. Why would He say “Sin no more” or “Be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect” if those were things that we could not do, aided by His grace and help?
      The Word became flesh for love to save us from our sin. And to free us from our bondage to sin. Sin is not good for us, nor is it necessary. Difficult to avoid, yes. But everything is possible with God.
      We will be more alive than ever in Heaven and in Heaven there will be no more sin, only pure love. We can have a taste of that on earth too if we give ourselves fully to God and cooperate with His grace to truly love and to "sin no more."

    • @faustinagorham1891
      @faustinagorham1891  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      We will never, ever lose our free will.
      But yes, it means you WILL no longer sin. But you will always be free.
      Nothing is forcing us to sin, it is our own free will. But if we make a sincere desire and intention that we never want to sin again. That we want to let go of anything God doesn’t want in our lives. If we make a sincere and resolute decision to give over our wills, to give over our entire lives to God so that His Will alone can reign in us, then He will unite His all-powerful Will to our feeble little wills and will forever fortify us and protect us from deliberate sin.
      We are still imperfect and have defects and fallen tendencies, however God doesn’t view unintentional slip-ups as true sin. True sin exists in the will of the person, in their choice. But after such a firm decision, it is very unlikely that a person who has received this special grace from God would ever WANT to choose to sin. So they won’t.

      Thank you for you comment and your concern!
      You are certainly not alone in this thought, and it is completely understandable why you would have that impression.
      The theology in these writings is incredibly deep and it is possible to be misinterpreted. That’s why it is important to read everything in light of Sacred Scripture, Tradition and the Catechism for the correct interpretation of everything. There are certain groups in the Divine Will that will teach things in error, but the writings themselves have been approved by the church.
      Volumes 1-19 (Which speak of the concepts I talk about in this video) have all been given the official Nihil Obstat by the Church. A Nihil Obstat is an official declaration that nothing in the writings is contrary to faith and morals. So anyone who speaks otherwise (I’m not accusing you because you have no idea, I’m saying this about certain Catholic priests and theologians who should know better, but are spreading slander) But anyone who says that these writings contain heresy or contradict church teaching are truly going against the authority of the church and are causing a scandal to the faithful. They are putting their own personal opinions over the authority of the Catholic Church.
      Volumes 20-36 have not yet received the official Nihil Obstat, but that is because the perfect translation is not out yet. That is what they are currently working on in the Vatican. Five theologians who were specifically assigned to work on this in the Vatican have scoured the writings through and have found that there is nothing contrary to faith and morals. It’s just that the theology is so deep and the translation from the particular dialect of Italian that the original is written in, is difficult to carry over so they want to make sure they get it right and have everything clarified.
      In the meantime though, the faithful are officially encouraged by the Vatican to continue reading the editions of volumes 20-36 that are available, just being sure to read them in light of the catechism.
      Not to mention that Luisa is herself a Servant of God, which is no small thing. These things are not taken lightly. Luisa would not have made it to that level in the church if the Vatican was not confident that her writings were of Divine Origin.
      If you are interested in seeing the details and the official documents from the church, I actually made a video on the status of Luisa’s writings. th-cam.com/video/pP7_-nEZ5yo/w-d-xo.html

      @@metrab8901 That is true, the importance doesn't make it less needed to speak with God on these issues. When you pray and meditate on his word all these things become more clear. As the purpose of the OT and NT they are the story of Gods interaction with humanity, and his people and the family line of his son. The plan for Jesus to become incarnate was made before anything else. Knowing that all of mankind would sin and be under his wrath to fullfill justice he choose to send his son. Being fully God and fully human he can acept the punishment that we deserve. I would sugest you meditate on the scriptures daily. Pick a passage or chapter you are curious about, pray to have the truth spoken about open up to you then read the passage, reflect on it while you wait for him to speak to you.

      @@jenflstar7 I agree that the more you love God the more you love neighbor as if God is at the center and we are on the outer circle yet the more we move towards each other with love the more we move towards God who is Love.
      Ultimately I believe in Theosis that God became man so that man can become god by grace. God's will being directed wholly at us and for our sakes that we return to the likeness of God and become deified (which can only be possible by uncreated Grace).
      Living a moral life as not the end and be all of Christianity but aquiring the likeness through transformation by grace which the works can help us with yet they alone are not the primary objective. Something Saint Seraphim of Sarov calls "Aquisition of the Holy Spirit".
