A couple of things I have learned
Detachment I am finding is that you are pulled to love what Jesus loves so you really care about others salvation and Jesus gives us invincible strength to detach, you just seem to trust he will provide everything and what turns up you say Fiat and realise everything he is doing is from his wisdom and then at night looking back over the day and kissing all the little crosses that came and kissing his hand that disposed it, this has been a revelation for me, those little sufferings united to his save our souls and others

Oh my, you said some very true things that I think and feel and no one really understands. People just don’t understand. In my love for God and for all of the souls He created, the most important thing to me is their salvation and coming to know and love The Father and Jesus Christ. It is more important than anything else. Emotionally. Materially. My family and co-workers and even strangers. But sadly many people aren’t concerned with the spiritual wellbeing of another. To me, that’s the most important thing. I really appreciate how you explain things . It easy to follow along with the ideas and concepts you’re expressing. I wish I would’ve had a friend like you growing up. Your good people ❤️

That doesn’t mean you’re not ready. It means you notice your imperfections. You will, more and more, the deeper you go. Question to think about: Before knowing about DW, would you even have given this incident a thought? Would you have seen it as a fault in yourself? Or would it have been “justified” and “good” because of your “obvious” superiority? I really think this is (or could be) the Divine Will working in you. I usually think of it as a nail file. Jesus is smoothing out my rough spots. And the smoother they get, the more obvious the tiny snags get. So operate as if you are living in the DW. You might soon realize that you are.

Yes, I agree with my mom
I was going to say that your willingness and desire to always be better and your humility to see your weaknesses, looks like a readiness to live in the Divine Will! The only hinderance is when we are attached to our own way and refuse to see when we are wrong.
And sometimes, it’s not a bad thing to see that somebody else is in the wrong or even to confront them about it. Sometimes love looks like fraternal correction. It sounds like your intentions are pure anyway, that’s what matters to Jesus.

The souls who are detached... and then He said: “I am so very pleased with the souls who are detached from everything, not only in the affect, but also in the effect, that insofar as they keep stripping themselves, so does my light keep investing them, and they become just like crystals, which are such that the light of the sun finds no impediment to penetrate inside, as it does with buildings and other material things.”
“Ah!”, He then said, “They think that they strip themselves, but instead, they come to be clothed not only with spiritual things, but also with the corporal, because my providence has a care all particular and special for these detached souls. My providence overshadows them everywhere; it happens that they have nothing, but they possess everything.”

Faustina, I love your videos. There is something I can't understand. Is it possible to detach yourself from something that is a sacred union in the case of Matrimony? Imo, I don't think it's impossible, and let me quote the Bible here: "The relationship between the soul and God is like the relationship between spouses". If we can't detach ourselves from God, neither should we from our Spouse. But, overall I agree with the content of your video, and it really opened my eyes to being humble, I really love how you put it into work with kids.
    Again, thank you very much!

    • @faustinagorham1891
      @faustinagorham1891  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Detachment does not mean “separation from” in this context. :) Detachment means that God comes first. So we don’t put our spouse above God, that is all it means to be detached.

@@faustinagorham1891 I agree with you. I once heard that by putting God first you are also putting your marriage where it belongs to, to God. If we do the contrary, that is, putting your spouse or even yourself first, your marriage it's going to division and fight, as egotism is what separates us and God the one who unites.

It is a great gift that God wants to give every single one of us if we only desire it. The first step is to do His Will, to orient ourselves to His desires, then to see things the way that He does, through the eyes of love.
It doesn’t change things much, but the next step is allowing Jesus to truly live His life through you, to be His hands of feet of love for those around you. That is what living in the Divine Will is and it is total freedom

It's so easy to talk about God's permissive Will. But so hard when you're living it live. Our daughter, who was homeschooled all these years, is now an unwed mother. The father is from a gang, drug, crime family (they were actually on the news due to their gang crimes!) He is anti Catholic. He has disrespected our family & shown his hateful side to us. Yet, our daughter still goes to see him. She takes the baby, who was literally just born May 18th, daily to see him. She lives in our home. We still have 3 other children here. The father of the baby is not allowed on our property. Having said all of this, the pain we are literally in, is so consuming. How do we just put smiles on our faces & "accept" God's permissive Will? This is VERY difficult when one is living it live, when one is in the trenches at the very moment. Is "this" what the saints are made of? If so, I am so far from this. I have never cried so much as I have, over our daughter. We have used exorcized blessed salt, holy water, begged prayers of monks & nuns for her, said Fr. Ripperger's prayers for her. Is this God's permissive Will? Is He using all of this to bring us closer to Him?😥

And yes, absolutely everything we see in this world, if it is not His direct Will, then it is His Permissive Will, otherwise it would not be happening.
And yes it’s true absolutely everything, no exception can be used to draw us closer to Him and perhaps more importantly, to save souls. To save souls that you didn’t even think of.
scripture says “God works everything for the good for those who love Him.” It’s absolutely true. He can turn any situation at all into something glorious. The best way that we can love God is by offering to Him everything in front of us, good or bad.

Thank you for you comment and your concern!
You are certainly not alone in this thought, and it is completely understandable why you would have that impression.
The theology in these writings is incredibly deep and it is possible to be misinterpreted. That’s why it is important to read everything in light of Sacred Scripture, Tradition and the Catechism for the correct interpretation of everything. There are certain groups in the Divine Will that will teach things in error, but the writings themselves have been approved by the church.
Volumes 1-19 (Which speak of the concepts I talk about in this video) have all been given the official Nihil Obstat by the Church. A Nihil Obstat is an official declaration that nothing in the writings is contrary to faith and morals. So anyone who speaks otherwise (I’m not accusing you because you have no idea, I’m saying this about certain famous Catholic priests and theologians who should know better, but are spreading slander) But anyone who says that these writings contain heresy or contradict church teaching are truly going against the authority of the church and are causing a scandal to the faithful. They are putting their own personal opinions over the authority of the Catholic Church. Your friends probably received their information from a viral TH-cam video that has been bashing Luisa, but every argument brought up in that video can be easily answered, and truly, that priest is in error and disobedience when he goes against the church like that.
Volumes 20-36 have not yet received the official Nihil Obstat, but that is because the perfect translation is not out yet. That is what they are currently working on in the Vatican. Five theologians who were specifically assigned to work on this in the Vatican have scoured the writings through and have found that there is nothing contrary to faith and morals. It’s just that the theology is so deep and the translation from the particular dialect of Italian that the original is written in, is difficult to carry over so they want to make sure they get it right and have everything clarified.
In the meantime though, the faithful are officially encouraged by the Vatican to continue reading the editions of volumes 20-36 that are available, just being sure to read them in light of the catechism.
Not to mention that Luisa is herself a Servant of God, which is no small thing. These things are not taken lightly. Luisa would not have made it to that level in the church if the Vatican was not confident that her writings were of Divine Origin.
If you are interested in seeing the details and the official documents I speak of from the church, I actually made a video on the status of Luisa’s writings. th-cam.com/video/pP7_-nEZ5yo/w-d-xo.html
