I have been to Lanciano, Italy, and I did explore the church, and it is so powerful and beyond description.
    Glory be to God.
It was a Sunday morning, of 2017, where we had mass and received communion.
I feel very blessed, and i am so thankful to God, for being there, and also thanks to you for sharing.

Little Faustina. Very strange but decided not to listen to this video last night because it seemed so deep so I listened to a randomly chosen video with Fr Groeshel making the case for Catholicism. (Haha many will get the joke there). Today I’m listening to you. You both spoke of similar things. He told about St. Justin just like you. Coincidence- I think not. I am so appreciated of your very important work as I feel it is necessary for me to make much better confessions and go to see our Lord more often in the holy Eucharist at our chapel. God bless you. Please do not stop doing these videos.

That is so cool! Thank you so much for sharing that, I love hearing how the Holy Spirit is working with this
I believe this is the time to be a saint. Go all the way. We should be going to confession with the firm intention never ever to sin again, not going through the motions knowing that we will do it again.
We actually don’t have to sin intentionally. We will always have imperfections and commit sins without truly willing them. But God doesn’t care about those.
It is completely possible only with God’s grace and united to His Divine Will to abstain from all intentional sin. This should be our goal with every confession.
IDK sometimes I get excited and I felt like typing that haha whoever is reading this GOD IS CALLING YOU TO BE A SAINT FOR THESE TIMES. not to live on the fence

I was a strong Catholic from childhood to my early 30's but was shown the Bible (by an ex Catholic) I researched the church teachings against the Bible and found too many errors, paganisms and heresies which I sadly followed. Coming out from that institution to understand what by Grace through Faith for salvation is not a "works" based salvation which is the Catholic teaching "the Gospel plus works" than a time spent in Purgatory for the purification of sins. In the light of the New Testament there is a real revelation and freedom to worship God through Jesus Christ without condemnation, to know once saved always saved, choosing to live by the flesh or the spirit but always knowing that the Spirit in me cannot sin!...above all the Bible tells me without any reservation or confusion or doubt that the moment I take my last breath I will be in the present of my Lord regardless what the Catholic church teaches " In 2 Corinthians 5:8, the apostle Paul writes, “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord” (KJV). The expression absent from the body refers to physical death. When this life ends, believers will be immediately ushered into the glorious presence of the Lord. Then we will see Him face to face (1 Corinthians 13:12). And, at that moment, we will be “present with the Lord.” READ YOUR

Hey thank you so much for this response! I actually believe that the Catholic Church teaches pretty much everything you just talked about, just in different vocabulary. The church doesn’t teach a “works” based salvation, it’s just that alot of Catholics act like it does because there are alot of teachers that twist things or give people the wrong impression.
The truth is that if you love Jesus you will do as He commands right? That doesn’t mean you’ll be perfect, just that you will strive to love Him. All that is necessary to get into Heaven is to love God. For a soul that sincerely loves God during earth, yes they will go straight to Heaven, but for souls that waited all their life to start loving Him, they will go to purgatory because nothing impure can enter the presence of God.
Anyway, I know we don’t have everything in common, but I believe at the heart we actually do. No pressure at all, but if you’re interested I did a video called “the Only thing you must to do get into Heaven.” it goes more in depth of the true attitude of the Church on this matter.
As for me, I live in the freedom you speak of. It is Heaven on Earth, simple childlike trust and freedom! I have no fear of Hell, there is only love! This is what true teachings of the church and the example of the saints have taught me.

@@faustinagorham1891 Thank you for sharing with love, but I have to take to task regarding Purgatory....Purgatory is never mentioned in the Bible and is a term made up by Catholicism! The Bible is very clear that when you die you are in the presents of the Lord. The perfect example of this is the thief on the cross. Luke 23-43 "Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Of cause in this case this thief was saved from Hell as he believed in Jesus being the son of God at the last moment of his life. Clearly there are many verses that tell us of the moment we die you will in the presents of the Lord. The Apostle Paul indicates this. The phrase “absent from the body” is found in 2 Corinthians 5:6-8. Paul states that he is confident in his eternal destiny and longs for the day when he can be “absent from the body” and be present with the Lord he loves and serves. To be “absent” from one’s body simply means to die because, at death, the spirit is separated from the body and moves into its eternal abode-either heaven with the Lord or hell, separated from God for eternity. Do not believe this false and misleading doctrine of the Catholic church it will only bring you despair and disillusion to your eternal salvation. Your sins have been paid for in full by the perfect sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, John 19:30. Past, present and future the moment you believe and trust in the free Grace through FAITH you are sealed by the Holy Spirit and your salvation is eternally secure.

WOW beautiful! I will have to look into that!
I wonder if all the saints are present in the Eucharist as well? Because I have heard that the type of union Mary had at the moment of her conception was the same “type” of union that all souls will have when they get to Heaven. By that I mean a “fusion” with God, where He makes of them so united with Him that they become one with Him. Because I’ve heard that Mary was a living Eucharist and she was the one who soul who lived Heaven on Earth in every sense of the word. She had that depth of union with God long before she ever even became pregnant with Jesus. And it continued within her long after He was born as well.
      Beautiful things to ponder

So Jesus turns into a piece of Bread, you Eat His Soul , then your like pregnant with Jesus, and then he turns back into Jesus after being digested for 15 minutes? What’s wrong with you people? Now Jesus has enslaved Himself in the Bread and you have him in A gold container where you can visit him? And you think we Protestants have it wrong?

    • @faustinagorham1891
      @faustinagorham1891  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

I believe we have more in common than we have to argue about :) We are brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.
Technically He doesn’t “turn into” bread, He takes the “form” of the bread and wine. So I wouldn’t technically say “He is in the bread” Or He “became” bread. I would say He replaced the substance of the bread with His very Self, while still allowing the bread to have its original “form”
It’s true that He wants to be with us and He is willing to go to any length. He wanted to be imprisoned and crucified while He was on Earth.
A distinction must be made though that He does not experience suffering while He is in the Eucharist because the sacrifice does not take place again. He is in His glorified body. But in His presence He brings with Him all the merits and everything He did and suffered while He was on Earth. So it is a “representation” of the one sacrifice.
We don’t only consume His soul into ourselves, but His very flesh and blood. No we are not literally pregnant with Jesus, but He is inside of us physically in the same way that He was inside of Mary physically when she was pregnant with Him.
And it’s actually that, after (about) 15 minutes (which is just scientifically how long it would take for the stomach acids to dissolve the “form” of the host, Jesus’ physical presence within us dissolves as well. (basically why I wanted to make it clear that He does not come out the other end)
And yes. Because Jesus has gone to such lengths to show His love for us, we want to give Him thanks by spending time with Him in adoration and by giving Him a golden throne. Historically, the tradition of Eucharistic adoration began in the year 1226. Which was before the Protestant reformation. Before any Christian believed that the Eucharist was a symbolic remembrance.

@@faustinagorham1891 The Apostles didn’t have the New Testament Scripture we have today to base their decisions on, as That came later when they and others wrote it. Yes they were going by what they learned from Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Now we have the convenience of knowing what they did and why they did it and what they proclaimed in the New Testament.
Paul said in Galatians 1:8-12 “ If we or an Angel from Heaven, preach any other Gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.”
The Roman Catholic Church has added Mariology to the Gospel of Christ that the Apostles taught. The RCC proclaims that it’s not solely Jesus who intercedes for Man as Scripture says in Romans 8:34, 1 John 2:1 and Hebrews 7:25. They have claimed that Mary and past Saints also intercede, which is not Biblical and is another Gospel different than the one taught by The Apostles.
The RCC teaches other things that are not Scriptural and are in fact antithetical to the Gospel of Christ. I’m so thankful that we both share love for The Savior Jesus Christ, but I wouldn’t stake my Soul on believing what Anybody says about Scripture except those who wrote it. That’s why I believe in Scripture alone. We can base how we live our Lives on Teachings of others as long as what they have to Say is rooted in Scripture. To do otherwise, I fear may have everlasting consequences.

Jesus lives in us through the Holy Spirit and abides in us in Spirit. He does not imprison Himself to the eucharist, nor does He offer or come down to sacrifice himself all over again. I would suggest you read the book of Hebrews. There you will see clearly that Jesus died once for all, one sacrifice one time. He does not come down and become a sacrifice again. Nothing like this is ever taught in scripture.

    • @faustinagorham1891
      @faustinagorham1891  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

Thank you so much for this comment!
It is true that the Holy Spirit abides in us and that the Spirit of Christ abides in us as well, but I think we would both agree that if a Christian were standing next to Jesus in the flesh 2,000 years ago, there would be a difference between the two, right?
You experience the Spirit of Jesus within your soul on Earth, but do you not experience a burning desire to hug Him in person, like you one day will in Heaven?
That is the gift of the Eucharist.
Also, the Catholic Church does teach that there is only one sacrifice. Jesus does not come down and suffer His passion again and again, rather the sacrifice of the Mass is merely a representation of what happened ONCE 2,000 years ago. It is almost like a Time Machine is brought to us every day at Mass to take us back to that sacrifice at Calvary so that all of us, in a mystical way, can truly be present at the foot of the cross.
He loves us so much and goes to such lengths for us, doesn’t He

    • @gz67
      @gz67 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

@faustinagorham1891 The mass was never part of the early church. There were no priests or eucharistic rituals. It was simply called a love feast, and they broke bread and shared the meal in remembrance of what Jesus accomplished for us. Think about it..if this was such a central ritual and important to observe, would not have the Apostles mentioned it? Or even the earliest church fathers? I am not opposing communion. It is truly in the presence of Jesus we observe it, but to say that He somehow comes down into the bread and the wine and we eat Him and drink His blood was never taught by the early church. It was a spiritual experience. Jesus used parables and figurative language in many ways to teach us spiritual truth, the same with His last meal in the upper room..the bread symbolic of His body broken for us, the wine symbolic of His blood shed for us. Do this in remembrance of me He said. He said He was the bread from heaven. Does this mean He is a loaf of bread? Of course not. He is simply using symbolic language to teach a truth. He is the life, the way, the truth, and in Him is everlasting life. We partake of that life through faith by the grace of God in Christ. When He says my flesh is food and blood is drink, He was talking about the everlasting life that He gives to all who trust in Him. This is the living water that satisfies the spirit and sustains all life. Jesus is now glorified forever in His glorious resurrection body and is our hope of everlasting life. So the communion we partake of is in remembrance of what He did for us, for the remission of sins. We are saved by believing in Him and confessing Him as Lord in our lives. Salvation is a free gift from God in Christ. Communion is partaking in the remembrance of that gift He gave.

@@gz67 The earliest church fathers do mention it. Listen around 15:00 for one account from St. Justin Martyr. St. Ignatius of Antioch and St. Irenaeus held much the same position. Don’t take it from me alone, Early Church historian J. N. D. Kelly wrote: “Eucharistic teaching, it should be understood at the outset, was in general unquestioningly realist, i.e., the consecrated bread and wine were taken to be, and were treated and designated as, the Savior’s body and blood” (Early Christian Doctrines, 440). The church fathers, of course, represented the bridge from the apostles to the early church. That is, they are a critical source to any argument on this matter. In addition, your claim that the early church had no mass nor priests is likewise mistaken. Ignatius quite clearly refers to “presbyteros” and “episcopos” in his letters, presbyters (priests) and bishops (hence the word episcopal). Mind you, Ignatius was a disciple of none other than John the Apostle. Friend, I cannot suggest this strongly enough, familiarize yourself with the writings of the Church fathers (especially the earliest; the apostolic fathers) to understand what the apostles themselves taught. Apostolic succession is real, and the fact that both the Orthodox churches and the Catholic Church are in agreement concerning the wholeness of Christ’s presence in the consecrated host (and have held this authoritatively since their origins) should all but end any debate. Mind you, not even Martin Luther denied this (he understood it somewhat differently, but never came anywhere close to a pure “symbolic” understanding), one can even read the text of his debate with Zwingli (who actually denied it).

His Grace alone is more than enough.. there's No need for all the rituals.
Communion is purely symbolic as were All of the other Jewish festivals.

" And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church,* and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it." Matthew 16:18
This is the Catholic Church. An unbroken line of Popes since Peter, and their Traditions have been handed down to us, as scripture even says.

John 6:53 Amen I say to you whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood shall have eternal life within him coming from God himself. If I were you I would be very concerned that you are calling God a liar even if you don’t want to listen to me.

Hey thanks for your comment, my brother :)
What makes you so sure that communion is purely symbolic in the Catholic Church? I know that it is in your church, but what if you are mistaken and are missing out on something?
If there is no need for rituals then why do you get baptized?

You must read the Holy Bible and accept the words of God. Trans substantiation is a doctrine of devils. The Lord Jesus said to do the breaking of bread is a memorial to him. Your faith is useless if it is cluttered with these blasphemous dogmas. You have a lot to answer for in misleading people. You like to imprisoned the King of KIngs in a piece of wafer? That is sacrilege!

"Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you." John 6:53

Support Your argument or just depart from us since you are coming at the person and not the argument of what God says in John 6

@@Lcoreyfulwhich was obviously symbolism as Jesus gave them bread and wine not flesh and blood

      Hello Chief :)
It IS a memorial, a “representation" of the ONE sacrifice at Calvary when He comes down for us. And it is not us who want to imprison Him in the bread, it is He, who is parched and burned by love for us. He, who thirsts for our presence, for intimacy with our souls. He, who offered Himself up on the cross on His own accord. Nobody takes His life from Him and nobody binds Him to be imprisoned in the Eucharist. Rather it is His own infinite and reckless love that lays down His life and it is His own infinite and reckless love that imprisons Him in the Eucharist.

I have heard Ron Wyatt speak of his discoveries and it fascinates me, especially of his finding of the Ark of the Covenant, amazing in and of itself, and then finding the blood of our Lord on the Mercy Seat. He had taken a sample of it to scientists in Israel to do a test on the blood. They were amazed that it came back as having living cells, a living sample, however it was missing the male chromosome. Your document was the first time I heard of it being blood typed (AB)... If you look up Ron Wyatt on TH-cam, you can see him and listen to him describe the entire event including how he was directed on where to dig for the Ark. It's very moving. Feeling even closer to him now, as I am also blood type AB. Thank you for your enthusiasm; it is contagious.
