Cant remember the last time I received a knife with an edge as dull as that one. I do like this design though. I could see carrying that, and the sheath looks pretty good. Thanks for the video brother.
Thanks! That looks really nice. I was looking for an alternative to the Enzo Necker of which I have build quite a few. However I just can`t see 12C27 anymore :-) However, for urban edc that Condor looks a little too large. But really nice anyway. Anna
@@DGOutdoorLife good to know. The enzo is really a nice knife. I am thinking of buying the scara blade in rwl34 and making a nice handle for it - mmh... 🤷🏻♀️Anna
Pangui (pronounced Pan-gee...as in geese) means Female Puma in Mapuche. The Mapuche are an indigenous people in Argentina and southern Chile. Condor typically uses words from regional native and Spanish languages to name knives.
Great looking knife, I really lile the shape and that sheath. But it may be a bit heavy as a neck knife/secondary knife, especially considering the short handle. The Pangui looks better than the Eldris, but I would propably carry the Eldris, it seems more functional. Granted, my favorite neck knife is the Helle Mandra, it also has only a 3finger handle...
Yes it is a bit to havy for a neck knife. The handel of the Eldris is like 1000 times more comfortable I can tell you that. But this is more for show then function, a bigger rounder handel wood be better but then the knife wood be more heavy then a the primary knife 😜
@@Bushcraftbrew The Mandra is smaller/slimer( 66mm long 2mm strong and 30mm wide, 71g weight) than the pangui (83mm long, 3mm strong, and ~50mm wide, 150g weight). So the Mandra would fit into the sheath, but the retention would not work, especially since the Pangui-sheath engages that massive finger guard/choil.
Looking at this again, that example looks to have a steep flat primary bevel with a fairly pronounced secondary edge bevel. It does look like a scandi from a distance...also looks to be fairly thick at the edge, making it a durable general utility option, but probably not a great carver or slicer. I do like the look, but otherwise, Im not very impressed. At least they did it in 1095.
i love that the strap opens on both sides so you can switch it depending on your preferred hand
I like those👍
Definitely a nice looking knife and sheath. This would be a good belt knife.
Yes very nice looking. A bitt bigger and I'll have it like a belt knife.
Enjoyed the in boxing of your small big knife 👍🏽
Thanks
Looks nice for outdoor cooking!
Yes more food prep I think for my use.

Thanks 😉
I like the sheath. Do you think this sheath would fit the condor blue river skinner
I don't know. The river skinner has a longer blade. So I think it won't fit so good

Thanks. I like my Enzo much more then the Condor.

Dear how to shopping this knife
Very nice , Chris RJones from Réunion Island 😉

correct me if I'm wrong but these style knives aren't meant to have a thin edge (cutting paper/scalpel) but for survival use.
i have a blue havoc, doesn't slice thru paper but had no issues slicing thru a solid sponge

DG Outdoor Life Yup, that sums up the dilemma ...
Would the sheath on this knife fit the Helle Mandra knife?

The only Condor, and I do have a few, that came unsharp was the Toki. The edge couldn't cut anything at all.
I know it is kinda randomly asking but do anybody know a good website to stream newly released series online ?
@Edward Brody Lately I have been using FlixZone. You can find it on google =)
@Roger Jesus Definitely, I've been using Flixzone for since march myself :)
@Roger Jesus thanks, signed up and it seems like a nice service =) I appreciate it!
@Edward Brody no problem :)
Intention is to choke up on the blade like you would a chefs knife.
That's why the handle is so short, you're supposed to hold the blade

I think your analysis is pretty good 😉. But I still like the look of the knife 😁
A true Scandinavian grind does not have a secondary bevel
