Thanks Nathan, nice to see some of the tougher tropicals properly outside the tent 😁👍

Once all the figs are out I might even move them back in! These cherimoya are going to pose a problem come next winter, how am I going to keep them size controlled enough to stay big enough to fruit and small enough to fit in the tent?!

back on board after intensive clearing out of my dads home - he's in NH- much more intensive job than anticipated. It was wonderful to see the variety of fruit trees you have Nathan. Totally interesting.
I have a few of your videos to go back and watch. Still catching up from the very beginning also. Thanks for the extensive list of your figs. You are heading for / have achieved an awesome collection.

I do have some newer fig cuttings that I particularly want to live, perhaps I can bring along another plant and try grafting two of them, and leaving the other two to root....

Your fig videos are very helpful 👌
This current video reminds me a bit of sending canaries into the mine to see if it’s safe - thanks 😊

I have killed many a canary this way over the years! Its much better than the alternative though, I have wiped out entire early spring crops like tomatos and the like being a bit to aggressive moving them out

I am glad the Lebanese Black/Purple rooted for you! Don't forget to name it Lebanese Black/Purple as that is what it is known by in the US.

Great video Nathan. Just wondering if you know anyone that would have a Panache Fig cutting? Finding it very difficult to source.

Hello! Sorry for the late reply, I have a number of panache trees, and gave away a bunch of cuttings last winter, if you are still looking then, let me know :)

don't buy rare variety cuttings. It's a waste of money. There are a lot of common varieties to choose. Among them, some can produce big figs over 100 grams. Masui Dauphine can do it too.

I am starting to get into some more unknown types, but am drawn like a moth to a flame to named varieties! Are you Australian based?
