Sure, it's time consuming but you can literally get clay from dirt. And what do we see here in your intro talking about iron? Loamy soil. And what the first block the cursor is hovering over after the intro? Loamy dirt path.
True the Modpack is dumb about that its sooo easy to make clay im prety sure even kaolinite clay could be primitively made since its just Al₂Si₂O₅(OH)₄ Like bro alumnium is 8.1% of fucking WEIGHT of the earth crust , After watching ALOT of primitive channels and playing Terrafirmacraft i found this Primitive Technology were he made Clay from Sedimentation , i made irl primitive way Clay , enough good maybe pure quality To roll in a O shape whitout breaking , i found a hard ground to dig whit a stick whit alot of Sparkling Minerals in it , i began to dig 2 holes , 1 bigger than the other -- elevation -- than i cleaned the hole thats down from dust and put my excess dirt in the hole thats up in elevation than i just poured water and kept doing it , the clay particles are just dirt but are just very very SMALL not visible to eye get carried by the water down into the hole , the rest Rocks and other heavy stuff remain at the bottom , and i did this a few times like 3 , and got enough clay to make a Cube thats as big as i guess 4 phone charges? ------ I should have stirred the water tho to make more clay particle move in the water and i should have wet the ground a bit cause it was to hard to dig , also if you mold it in a shape for easy storage and put it in a Damb place like sprinlking whit your fingers every 5 hours for like 4 times the shape and close the lid it will make the Clay so much PLASTIC it also feels amazing , i also found exactly were this river is Green-Blue clay that was SUPER HARD to dig the fuck out of it , But full of stones and had to let it Crack cause it was SO DENSE i wouldnt think it anything will come out of it , and it smelled funny
@@SuperGuy250 The problem is that kaolinite clay-graphite crucibles are a modern technology, it'd be more reasonable if they just had clay crucibles that just would have a chance of breaking

Loving the videos! Glad I caught this series as it was coming out! Another tip! You can blacksmith an ingot easily into 2x rod, but putting that diagonally in a crafting grid with a saw will net you the same amount of bolts as if you where smithing them, you can also just file ingots to make rods as well! Though that info becomes useless after you hit LV age,
I think a large reason this video is doing better is twofold: it is longer, and people are watching for longer--the algorithm likely would punish you (i.e. not show the video) if people don't watch much of it, but because it wants to keep people on TH-cam a long video that is mostly watched is a high pirority for it to show to people

tip, rush yerself a encased fan: with lava, it allows you to gain metals on a way larger scale early on. 1 raw ore : 1 ingot, 1 rich : 2 ingot, 1 poor: 5-10 small dust. in some cases, it's more than doubling
found your channel about a week ago. Absolutely loved the last terrafirma episode as well your e2e video. Subscribed and very excited to see more from you!

Please don't play GT:NH, not only will it be bad for you mentally but it won't be very interesting to watch. Neurotic Goose is already doing a GT:NH series by starting from nothing and he's starting to notice just how ungodly the grind gets in that pack, that and it takes him days to record footage for a single video with most of it being cut out anyways since most of it isn't of much substance. The only thing keeping his GT:NH series alive is likely his sense of humor, but humor alone won't be enough to keep a long-standing series going without cutting a lot of corners. For your own sake, and for the sake of everyone here, please do NOT attempt GT:NH.
GT:NH looks so fun on the early game but then it becomes 1.waiting game 2.chemicals automation nightmare 3.repetitive progression (get better machines -> grind more stuff -> get better machines -> occasional new stuff but then it loops) I guess that's just how most tech mods go anyway..
GT:NH is great, but pushing the proper lategame NEEDS extra motivation or is mega grind. Great early/midgame though. Every system coming online is a wonderful thing

@@BenQ.-ys4kp You cant make a clay crucible atleast not a one you are mixxing ores for hours at 1500 degrees, You already have the Vessel for pouring metal into something or molds, Earth is made like from ALOT of Oxygen Silicates Aluminium and Iron , If you fire your basic clay at 700 it turns ceramic , at 1000+ it begins to vetrify, turning glassy, And after more temperature it begins to loose its shape and to crack , you need a non cracking, non reactive, non stick, non melting crucible Graphite and Kaolinite have good structures that dont melt even at high temperatures, even if aluminium melts at 660 Kaolinite if you melt Kaolinite (Alumnium Silica) at 1500 you transform it in mulltite which is like a ceramic but it aint , can stop 1850C or close before it even starts to melt.
Playing this modpack on a server with friends because of your first video and the journey of finding clay in the new world was some of the most fun I have ever had playing minecraft.
Minecraft bricks are already annoying enough but man, this is torture 😭
Cheers for you for getting through this, you deserve the attention your stuff is getting o7
I adore this series already, and you’ve got an air about you that reminds me of a lot of letsplays back from when I was in my teens. This I’ll be excitedly following along
i am so happy you're continuing this
Love the video, didnt realise how bad kaolinite was to gather, tempted to try a tfc pack myself, really want to try make a castle in these conditions
I can absolutely sit down on my bed at sunday watching whole series of this mod. The story telling and the way you talking is just flow me deep down into this video, cant wait for a new episode
Though that info becomes useless after you hit LV age,
I think a large reason this video is doing better is twofold: it is longer, and people are watching for longer--the algorithm likely would punish you (i.e. not show the video) if people don't watch much of it, but because it wants to keep people on TH-cam a long video that is mostly watched is a high pirority for it to show to people
This series is such a fun watch! I love the laid back presentation
Yayyyy! ep 2 is already out! hate everything on yt lately, but i found your first episode and loved it. glad to see this is out so soon. hope it goes on a while!
I'm really loving this series and this Calamity mod music adds a nice touch, keep up the good work!
Cheers from Brazil.
is there kaolinite in Brazil?
Okay, but the fact that the whole *sequence* there (1:36) was on beat? 😘👌 Art, cinema, flawless. Bravo!
You and that Goose, you just come outta nowhere and give us the Minecraft we crave.
Keep it up!
loving the long format content
I discovered your channel from your last video. It was interesting and since I wanted to see the full series I subscribed. It's nice to see a TH-camr who is open about their beliefs. I'm glad your channel is doing good and I hope it continues to climb. I'm looking forward to the next episode.
This 40 mins flew by real quick. I didn't even realise that I watched a 40 min video before you mentioned it at the end. Loved it. You kept me watching the whole video that I lose track of time😂😂 good job. I'm sure everyone else was like this as well.
This series reminds me of how let’s plays felt when I was 12. But now it’s condensed to fit a working schedule. Also all this to me unknown mod content is quite similar to how TH-cam introduced me to redstone. I hope you keep going :)
please keep these coming! decided to play this pack after your last video and am having a blast, plus your videos are helping me progress at a reasonable pace.
I absolutely love this series of yours and can't wait for what's next to come
I found your last video and I watched it and I instantly fell in love with this mod pack and I dragged my cousin to start a play through. Thank you for shining the light on this.
This might be the most enjoyable survival lp I’ve seen in years. Don’t have the time I used to but was really looking forward to this after the last episode, and looking forward to the next one. Hope this continues to blow up, really want to see where it goes.
I remember thinking about what it would be like to combine tfc and Greg the first time I saw how tfc generated ore veins when etho played tfc ages ago. Better than I envisioned it being!
I just miss this calm, step by step technical playthrough and editing style and not just people showing a timelapse or squealing all the time
20:07 "Actually, their base was made of a lot of bricks, I wonder if I could 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒍 some"
*Payday 2 music plays*
amazing editing choice!
Format of videos that you use in this series is quite rare in youtube due to amount of work and instability in uploading schedule. But it´s so much more fun and even more when used in the modded minecraft series
if this is too much work, that is a sad reflection of modern TH-cam
It is, I kinda miss times when it was standard
Your video got me to play TerraFirmaCraft(not tfgreg, i'm not that insane) and i've honestly been having fun. Thanks for introducing me to my new Minecraft playthrough!
this format of video blows up just because it is so cozy.
I used to watch these types of videos all the time as a little kid and your last one (of this series) popped into my recommended! Love the style and your soothing voice, I probably watched your last one three time bc i kept falling asleep
Hecuba's favorite activity is getting kaolinite.
Terrafermacraft really shows how much minecraft has compressed real world concepts, ESPECIALLY the movement.
You know how long i’ve been waiting for this? Woo i’m boutta make a name for myself here! No seriously i loved the first episode and was checking your channel every day for the second one, great stuff.
Dude I’m loving this series I started playing myself because of you
after your last episode i tried the modpack myself and i can only say that the titel of the video is accurate xD i spent about 6 hours trying to find clay .
i really enjoyed the episode and hope for more, keep up the good work!
Your channel its soo chill to watch, i wish there was more videos like this.
Thank you so much for starting to upload more stuff again! you have no idea how much it makes me happy to see you upload. Having a tough time last 2 months and this helps with my mental health and not thinking about you know what :D
I've always been working to get videos out quickly while keeping all of their quality, my old format would take 100's of hours to make though so I'm glad this is a good alternative. I hope your mental health gets better, even though I dont know you I will have you in my prayers
@@istoleurbread2023 sorry to hear that man, I'll pray for you and May god bless you.
tip, rush yerself a encased fan: with lava, it allows you to gain metals on a way larger scale early on. 1 raw ore : 1 ingot, 1 rich : 2 ingot, 1 poor: 5-10 small dust. in some cases, it's more than doubling
Sometimes the algorithm shows me the weirdest stuff in existence, others it shows me pure gold.
Incredible video, love the format! Keep it up man, and good luck for the rest of the series!
found your channel about a week ago. Absolutely loved the last terrafirma episode as well your e2e video. Subscribed and very excited to see more from you!
ive been playing this modpack for the past few weeks and these videos have already been so helpful lmao
I love how good you are at the game but more importantly at explaining and editing. you deserve it all
I was desperately waiting for this episode, keep it up man!
Your video took off because it was balanced in humour, information and gameplay. If your beliefs and prayer are what guided you then so be it, but remember that your own actions play a large part in life too
LORE!!! OMG i have really waited a long time for someone to make videos like these again. These have been some of my favorite watches, half because of how interesting the modpack is, but also just bc these feel like what the modded stuff i watched in 2012 matured into.
Love this series
I find this video relaxing to watch, I'm not sure if I would watch an entire series like this (mainly due to feeling lost after a few videos), but I could definitely watch the first few videos in this format
Thanks to you, this is going to be the first modpack I try out when I get an upgraded PC soon! Based on other comments, I expect to be yelling at you for getting me into it over some obscure mineral when I do! Can’t wait! Cheers! Also congrats on the popular vids, you have a lot of potential!
It's gratifying to have found your channel now, I hope it has the growth it deserves!
Insane pre-dinner timing let's go
I started this pack because of these videos and i love it. Thank you for this. An excellent video done. The Kingdom would be proud
Your channel blew up because of your ability to translate a mundane activity into a exciting activity that is easier to understand, god has not only answered you but given you gifts to be able to do this i hope you take off
Hey dude, I love your videos. The editing is done really well, very subtle but no part of the video is unnecessary or boring which makes them really entertaining to watch. Awesome work, you absolutely deserve that your channel is doung so well and I'm excited to see where your TH-cam journey goes ^^
I actually started playing this modpack after seeing your first video on it. I've put so many hours into it already
im so glad i subscribed to you this series is genuinely entertaining
The literally blessed series returns

Love the format of the vid and love that you spoke openly about your believe (finally found a youtuber I truly love watching)
I suggest writing down your solutions for the blacksmithing puzzle for commonly smithed items. It will SERIOUSLY help with muscle memory and you'll be smithing in half the time

You can make a greg tech coke oven for charcoal, its more efficient than the underground charcoal burning as it gives 1:1, plus you get creosote as a byproduct. Only takes clay sand and wood to make too so its cheap
This is the most addictive minecraft survival series ive seen on youtube for a long while.
*HOLY CRAP HE'S BACK SO SOON*
Not to flex or anything but I'm deep in MV in Monifactory rn and my next project I'm putting off is starting an ME system. So take that!
I desperately hope to see you hit AE2 one day in this pack. It's gonna be a while
struck gold with these vids, algorithm loves them.
*I use your video as a guide. Love it!*
This series is soo awesome. I'll try to start playing the modpack again.
I already made a promise but in that video I did say that if it became unbearable or just unfun, I would stop
Eyy, fellow Goose enjoyer
GT:NH looks so fun on the early game but then it becomes
1.waiting game
2.chemicals automation nightmare
3.repetitive progression (get better machines -> grind more stuff -> get better machines -> occasional new stuff but then it loops)
I guess that's just how most tech mods go anyway..
GT:NH is great, but pushing the proper lategame NEEDS extra motivation or is mega grind. Great early/midgame though. Every system coming online is a wonderful thing
Yes!!! So glad you're doing these, I'm enjoying it immensely.
Edit: Congrats on finding the kaolin clay haha. I like the look of the tile oven!!
Not going to lie I was going to straight up forget you after part one because it felt like a one off idk why but I genuinely like this series and would like you to continue it hopefully it continues.
Yoooooooooo ep 2 Les go
Been lookin forward to this
Love the series keep it up man 👍🏻
A lot of people watch it because there are no good videos about TFG and TFC. You're kind of the only guy who does it, good luck
you're a "what if martincitopants played igobylotsofnames modpacks" and it is *PEAK*
beacuse of you i started playing this modpack too and that fucking kaolite was soo impossible to find i needed to shearch for it on creative, worth it tho
