tip: make sandwiches when you can. you can increase up to four different nutrition types per sandwich, which in turn increases your health by a LARGE amount. i got up to 1000 before i made the mistake of attempting to make 40 black bronze ingots at once and deciding to start over after it all got turned into 3000 mb of liquid unknown

Looks like insanely cool modpack, unfortunately my computer was crashing due to shader stuff even when installing through curseforge, but at least I’ll have this series!

What mod makes the cave ins?

I feel like the whole kingdom storyline is just forced. It takes away from the satisfying game progression, and I pretty much skipped over it.

Regarding something you said about 22:00 in, I personally wouldn't have a problem with you cheating. I'd have a problem with you lying about it. This mod was tedious as hell. Literally spent about 6 hours looking for copper underground, then I invited a friend and spent 3 hours and eventually found it by just digging straight down, placing thatch at the bottom (which negates fall damage) and climbing back up. Trapdoors also make for good floating surfaces.

Small tip - you can use "TFC Anvil Helper" resource pack, that should help you immensely in getting perfectly forged items every time

How do you get a GregTech knife when knapping? I get a TFC knife, and it does not give you straw. Super frustrating.

Resurrection isn't realistic so you should start over every time you die. Also nature is not peaceful. Peace is a human construct. Nature is violent, dangerous and opportunistic. So having no conflict isn't realistic either.

If this is the sort of stuff you like, may I point you in the direction of Vintage Story? It's a voxel-based game that's visually inspired by Minecraft, but it functions as an incredibly realistic survival game. Starting from the stone age, and getting to the steel age. Heavy emphasis on the realistic. The game is incredibly hands on, with very few unnecessary menus. You'll be sculpting pottery by hand, knapping blades and flint tools by hand, making multi-block kilns, furnaces, bloomeries.. It's just really cool and in-depth.

This is a real neat mod pack, though I can’t help but think the mods could be integrated with each other a bit better. There’s two types of steam power, that from Create and that from Gregtech. It makes more literal sense for mechanical power to be used instead of steam for maceration and hammering, and getting a steam oven hot enough to smelt ores doesn’t really make sense, especially not for ores that can’t just be roasted like iron. Gregtech really shines in its multiblocks and electrical and fluid systems, but mechanical and item movement would fit better with Create, while the ore processing of both mods should be changed to match base TFC. I wonder how adding a mod like The Factory Must Grow could change things?
