    Speaking of predictions. I was watching POA last night and when Ron says "You're going to suffer, but you'll be happy about it" , he wasn't far off with the events of Sirius later on. Finding the truth, watching Peter escape, then knowing he'll be alive just on the run and now has a Godfather.
    I thought that was pretty neat

    There’s also the theory of the Dursley’s birthday gifts representing the deathly hallows. In his first year, they sent a fifty pence piece (representing the resurrection stone), in his second year, they sent him a toothpick (representing the elder wand), and in his fourth year, they sent him a single tissue (representing the invisibility cloak).

    Back when the novels were first coming out, Rowling gave an interview to the entertainment journalist for a kids' show, a young man named Lizo Mazimba. At the end of the interview, he proposed to ask a question with the codicil that she might refuse to answer, then he asked whether there was a clue to the series in the repeated fact that Harry had his mother's eyes. Rowling pursed her lips, then said, "I hate observant readers."

    Most of the time stuff Ron says as a joke turn up to be true. Like in 3rd book when Arthur informs them about Sirius, Ron says something along the lines 'Maybe I could catch him and get more gold' to which Arthur replies '13 years kids won't be able to catch him'. They do endup catching Sirius (tho he kind of wants them to). In 7th book where he shouts at Harry and Moine not to say Voldy's name and how he feels like it is jinxed or something like that. And turns out it Was jinxed. There are many moments where he does that and they mostly in one way or another turn out to be true

    Regarding the vanishing cabinet, Fred and George stuck Slytherin Graham Montague in it in Order of the Phoenix. He eventually reappeared in Moaning Myrtle's toilet. That's likely how it got broken. Regarding Dumbledore's correspondence with Petunia, he also left a letter with baby Harry, which Petunia ignored.

    • @MitchMitchellStories
      @MitchMitchellStories 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I was getting ready to say that; glad I found it here before I did lol As for Petunia, let's add that he also sent her a howler in book 5 when the Dursleys were ready to throw Harry out of the house.

    • @kyleethekelt
      @kyleethekelt 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      No, Ms Mojo was correct. It was already broken when Fred and George put him in there. In Chamber of secrets, Harry is in Filch's office, reading Filch's Quickspell course while Filch is called away because of a disturbance. When Filch returns he says, "That vanishing cabinet was extremely valuable!" he was saying
      gleefully to Mrs Norris.
      We'll have Peeves out this time, my sweet.""
      When Harry emerges, unpunished, from Filch's office, he meets Nearly Hedless Nick.
      "Harry! Harry! Did it work?"
      Nearly Headless Nick came gliding out of a classroom. Behind him, Harry could see the wreckage of a large black and gold cabinet which appeared to have been dropped from a great height.
      "I persuaded Peeves to crash it right over Filch's office," said Nick eagerly, "Thought it might distract him"
      Montague returns very seriously ill from his enforced adventure and the broken cabinet is, I think, the likely cause. Otherwise, Montague would simpply have ended up in Borgin and Burkes where the cabinet's twin was located. This isn't made clear, if shown at all, in the films.

    I would argue that the Riddle family is not a descendant of the 3 brothers as mentioned in #16. That brother killed himself and there's not mention of him having any children. The resurrection stone may have simply been passed around over the years until Dumbledore hid it in the golden snitch.

    Trelawney was right more often than she gets credit for. She tells Lavender “the thing you are dreading will happen on the 16th of October” which is the day she got the letter about her rabbit dying. She wasn’t dreading the rabbit’s death specifically, but when we are away from home who doesn’t worry about our loved ones and dread (even subconsciously) receiving bad news about them? Trelawney also tells her “beware a red-haired man” and, well , things didn’t end so great with Ron 😆💔

    the "chamberpot room" was never really confirmed to be Room of Requirement tho, despite Dobby's reply
    the Peverell & Black family trees were afterthought expansions tho
    also Myrtle's line of "the bubbles were gone" in reference to Cedric was basically implying she was a peeper, and considering ghosts are manifestations of mortals' "unfinished business", well...
    I never knew Harry's blood was to be Voldemort's undoing tho...

    “Oh, I would never dream of assuming I know all Hogwarts’ secrets, Igor,” said Dumbledore amicably. “Only this morning, for instance, I took a wrong turning on the way to the bathroom and found myself in a beautiful proportioned room I have never seen before, containing a really rather magnificent collection chamberpots. When I went back to investigate more closely, I discovered that the room has vanished. But I must keep an eye out for it. Possibly it is only accessible at five thirty in the morning. Or it may only appear at the quarter moon - or when the seeker has an exceptionally full bladder.”

    December 31st is not mid-winter. It’s the beginning of winter as winter starts on December 21st. Ten days later. Also Hermione’s reading of The Three brothers is not the first time they are discussed. Dumbledore and Harry Discuss them in his office. Which is where the Peverell brothers are talked about. And the story given implies that Cadmus Peverell never married after his Love died, so he had no children. Also it is implied that Ignotus was the last head of the Peverell family as he was the youngest of the bothers he could only have that title of Antioch and Cadmus died without issue(children). In fact everything on this list is conjecture and brought up with knowledge of what comes next. BtW Snape did not love Lily. He was obsessed with her. There is a difference. He abused her son because he hated the father and for it not being him. He also only included saving James and Harry because he knew Lily would kill him otherwise. He is not a good man in anyway. It has never made sense to me that Harry named his second son after two abusers.

  • @nicklopez3133
    @nicklopez3133 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Nah. I go by the other one. When Voldemort "killed" Harry he was actually killing the piece of his soul within Harry. Harry's soul merely followed that piece. And since Harry didn't really die he had the choice to return alive.
    Seems obvious to me. Couldn't really understand most of Dumbledore's and Harry's conversation at King's Cross in the book, was confusing for me. So I took what I could from it.
    And then the movie had to go and use that blood thing, was interesting but not the obvious reason.
