Harry James Potter, born 31 July 1980, was an English half-blood wizard, and one of the most famous wizards of modern times. The only child and son of James and Lily Potter (née Evans), Harry's birth was overshadowed by a prophecy, naming either himself or Neville Longbottom as the one with the power to vanquish Lord Voldemort, the most powerful and feared Dark wizard in the world. After half of the prophecy was reported to Voldemort, courtesy of Severus Snape, Harry was chosen as the target due to his many similarities with the Dark Lord. In turn, this caused the Potter family to go into hiding. Voldemort made his first attempt to circumvent the prophecy when Harry was a year and three months old. During this attempt, he murdered Harry's parents as they tried to protect him, but this unsuccessful attempt to kill Harry led to Voldemort's first downfall. This downfall marked the end of the First Wizarding War, and to Harry henceforth being known as "The Boy Who Lived", as he was the only known survivor of the Killing Curse due to being magically protected by his mother's loving sacrifice. In accordance with the terms of the prophecy, this attempt on his life also established him, not Neville, as Voldemort's nemesis.

I’m 19, I never liked or got into Harry Potter growing up I always knew about it & what it was but like I said I never liked it but literally since the other day (March 22nd) till today it’s the 25th I watched every movie I just finish DH pt 2 just now & I can legit say Hp is a masterpiece💯 The cast, the acting, the story, everything.
I wish Harry Potter would make friend ship with Daniel larusso similar to newt scamander and Jacob kavalski s in fantastic beasts
I've always thought Crookshanks was the Potters cat... it explains why she wants to kill 'scabbers', she would of recognized Peter and has never been known to attack or torment any other pet besides him. She would of also recognized Sirius when he snuck into the castle, possibly even gave Sirius the password that was either 'lost' or stolen from Neville in the common room, after he got annoyed with the Fat Lady and slashed the painting in his Animagus form...
I love this theory and I have been a subscriber to it before but I did notice one piece of Damning evidence to the contrary during one of my readings, and that’s that Sirius doesn’t recognize crookshanks in the 3rd book, and at this point of the story sirius has no orders from dumbledore and therefore no reason to be secretive about anything pertaining to Harry or the potters
@@gingersnap8543 It is possible that he didn't recognize crookshanks because it had been 13 years since harry's parents died so apperance would probably be much older and would not resemble crookshanks when sirus last saw it
@@DevinDua-mu4kz I mean I’ve never seen a cat drastically change in appearance through age other than at the kitten stage. And even then he would still know because he doesn’t just know crookshanks by sight, he also knows how to communicate with crookshanks, so he would know that crookshanks had belonged to the potters no matter what. Even if he didn’t recognize him at first

Enjoyed the books and now the movies via TH-cam though I’ve had the movie CDs but it’s so easy to run TH-cam on my TV that I watch them often: totally addicted Sad so many principal characters have died but I think Ms. Rowling is quite adamant that no further books will be forthcoming and in any event I did it like her cursed child play so maybe 7 is enough

It was Luna Lovegood who found Harry unconscious in the train and not Nymphadora Tonks.
They changed it to Luna in the movies to give her more screen time but it was nymphadora in the books. Nymphadora even saved Harry with her patronus later
