You know when I was a Jehovah's Witness, I knew very little about the Bible because we spent most of our time studying Watchtower publications that seemed to have expiration dates of 10-15 years."Now that I study the Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit, my knowledge and faith have grown tremendously over the past few years. And you know what? After over two thousand years, the Bible hasn't expired." You know, I still haven't found any scripture that states the Governing Body is the mediator between Christ and man or that the Governing Body's voice is equal to that of Christ.

7 years ago after studying with JW pioneers for nearly two years i realised i actually didn't know the bible. I told the women i wanted to go back to the beginning and just study the bible...the women dropped me immediately. By reading and studying the bible alone i came to Christ. I thank God he freed me from my childhood indoctrination 30 years after id left the org unbaptised.

The JW organisation as a whole, is so invested in their own system that NO MATTER what the GB says or does, no matter how illogical it may sound, the JW's will always accept the word of the GB ( who admit are not inspired)
I was a Jehovah’s Witnesses for most of my life. I was too curious to be held in that cultish box. I read the Bible and only the Bible constantly. That’s when I knew it wasn’t the truth. Thankfully my wife and I figured this out and we left.

Wow! What a narrow minded thinking! Must one know or trust a writer of a book before reading his book? You read the contents FIRST! Then the contents tell if the writer is right or wrong. I've personally bought and read those books and knew JW organisation had been lying to me for the past 38 years, then i left their falsehood! Thanks Eric for this video.
Yes. Agreed. I wonder if they were hinting at the book, "Crisis of Conscience" by former governing body member Ray Franz. Likely. As a former bethelite who served in Brooklyn with Ray Franz I could testify to the accuracy and veracity of his accounts and the names of brothers involved who unscripturally harassed him, persecuted him, and made false accusations of him. NEVER IN THAT STORY DID HE RENOUCE HIS FAITH AND TRUST IN JEHOVAH GOD OR JESUS CHRIST. He, like so many of us, was increasingly dismayed at the propagation of man-made rules and policies taking precedence over Bible truth. He NEVER RENOUNCED HI LOVE OF GOD' WORD THE BIBLE EITHER! Clearly, he was NOT an apostate, but expelled by the personal opinions and consciences of other men; just as I was in my case. BUT WITHOUT READING THE BOOK, I COULD NEVER DRAW THAT CONCLUSION!

There is deception in the name jehovah. He, along with Yahweh, chose the Jews. As you know, the true God is not partial, so would never have chosen one race above another. Find God in Genesis, 1:27 where God made male & female at the same time, and He made all things💜

You know I would have remained oblivious if an early 2023 broadcast had not warned us that news reports were going to come out that were false. Because of that I started investigating. I used to say that 'I never left Jehovah, I just began to study other bibles on my own". I soon learned that I was not on my own at all! Yes, I was marked as apostate, but now I know my Mediator, my Saviour, the King of the kingdom and I have put on the armour of God to stand with all who have come to worship the Father and Son; and I love it when I'm challenged for my faith.
Even studying their own Bible on my own, I slowly started to see some cracks…

We should learn to love and value
truth for its own sake; to respect and honor it by owning and acknowledging it wherever we find it and by whomsoever presented. A truth presented by Satan himself is just as true as a truth stated by God.
Oddly enough, that paragraph is from a Watchtower dated 1879.
Would love to see how they would answer questions about that reference.

I watched the Broadcasting this month. When this talk came up, i tuned out and started scrolling on my tablet. I knew what it was hitting for: a bunch of nonsense saying nothing negative ever said about JW's is true and is from the Devil.
I do know that when the GB makes a change then changes back, that they are not being led by Jehovah. I enjoyed your video!

That was my very first thought too. They often make up scenarios and try to peddle them as true. I really do believe many higher up in this false religion know its all bs and get joy in deception and the power it grants them. Narcissists and sociopaths always seek prominent positions. And they have neither empathy or morality just like those in the governing body.
All of their "stories" and "Questions from Readers" are fictitiously made up by the writing department.

Should we view the account of the Flood as a prophetic type? The answer is no. Why? Because there is no direct Scriptural support for doing so... nor did he say that the closing of the door of the ark had any prophetic significance.
This did not stop them from condemning people in advance when the judgment belongs to Christ.
Get a JW to use the watchtower published "Kingdom Interlinear" for meetings. They will have questions.

The flaw is , neither does the Bible student know the people who wrote the book she is studying with the sister . Neither does the sister taking the study either .
Has either of them ever met the WT publishers of the book they are studying together ?. No..

I don’t listen to JW broadcasting anymore but I can imagine that between them and the midweek meeting the org. has to spend quite a bit of time deflecting against so called apostates because so many are leaving the org.
Lately, JWs have started coming to my house. I do have their best interests at heart, little though they may know it.

This constant reference by the Watchtower to excusing disfellowshipping on the basis of "keeping the congregation clean", is such a subtle mind trap, that those who have never experienced a real case involving someone who had slipped and made a mistake have no idea that this is twisting of scripture and truth. (Either those who were judged by a judicial committee or elders who have served on judicial committees)
Most of the so-called "sins" that elders DF someone for, are personal and only affected the person himself. That person doesn't or didn't go around in the congregation blabbing that what he did should be accepted by everyone else! He doesn't go around with a picket sign in his hand reading, "Lie! Steal! Commit fornication! Murder! Slander!, Revile your neighbor! Get drunk often! Exercise your Christian freedom and smoke pot and cigarettes! "...........etc.
So it imputes this mindset of hatred and animosity toward the shunned person as if talking to him would corrupt us and cause a serious disease in us of some sort! "Oh, don't talk to him or her! He/she's unclean ! ..as if they had leprosy or something!

They always say, "just ignore it, or don't read their books or pamphlets,". Yet their own self assuming books and literature shouldn't be put to the same test?

Acts 17: 11,...." examining the scriptures daily (not the Watchtower magazine, not the video talks from someone else) to see if these things were so." Your THEME TEXT!
Ephesians 5 : 10,..."Keep on making sure of what is acceptable to the Lord."
1 Thess. 5: 21,..."Make sure of all things, (or "prove all things", other translations).....hold fast to what is fine."

I love Bible translations so was given a NWT. I was shocked to see in the Appendix where they said they revised the 2011 translation to be gender neutral. I was alway told they had a very “conservative” mindset. This is along the lines of NIV. I know this is off subject but I’d love a video on this.
In the summer online convention of 2021, Jehovah’s Witness governing body member David Splaine gave a very desperate talk about apostasy. In it he said: “that we should not even so much as listen to anyone who says anything that is not from the scriptures, or is not part of the healthful teaching that Jehovah’s Witnesses believe.”
In John 6, Christ Himself says something so disgusting to His Jewish audience, that the people said His speech was shocking. These are His disciples, and many leave off following Him. JW’s are taught that those who disagree with this healthful teaching are apostates. The governing body of JW's don't seem to understand the difference between apostasy and heresy. In his talk, David Splaine says that the moment we realise that what a person says is not what we have been taught or not in the bible, then we should get away from them immediately. But Peter tells Jesus upon His asking that He will not leave following Him. JW's today would not listen to anyone who said that we should eat flesh or drink blood, so, had we lived back then and obeyed the GB, we no doubt would have left off following Jesus as well! Therefore, we must listen to what a person says, and hear them out. Ask questions of them. They may have a point. We will only know if they are speaking truth if we hear their words, and compare what they say with the Holy Scriptures. Jesus listened three times to the greatest apostate in history! He didn’t tell the devil to go away after the first temptation either. Paul wrote that not even angels can separate us from God. So if JW's are the only ones that possess the truth, what are the GB so afraid of?

Do you see how Watchtower so eloquently removed Adam from the scene of the crime and put the blame on the woman ? Adam was not in some remote part of the garden when Eve gave him the forbidden fruit and he had no idea what he was doing.......

On waking up I realized we JWs had never read the Greek scriptures, as we had Genesis - Malachi. Of course we were to read at home and the later in the week the ORG would tell us what our assigned reading meant! I do not remember doing that with the Christian Greek scriptures? Since I have been reading these, I realize why? Oh we took a peak now and then if the talk was about the end of wickedness, we turned to Matthew Chapter 24 v 3 if the talk was to encourage obedience to the Faithful Slave we turned to Matt 24: 45-47 stop right there, don't read the next verses. When at the Memorial, we open our bible to Matt 26 v-26-28, not v 29 Luke v---, Mark v----. a couple verses in John Acts and Revelation. Our whole belief was built upon maybe 27 verses from the entire New Testament. If you keep reading the Gospel without Org guidance you can be in endangered to the point of praying to Our Heavenly Father Through our mediator Christ Jesus and receiving Holy Spirit. With tears running down your face and a smile you can not hold back you know you are in his Family. The Joy is amazing, Jesus our King, mediator and Savior will be with us if we ask your heavenly Father because Jesus was and is his plan! for Abraham's seed (little flock) all the way to us Gentiles (great crown of other sheep) not of that fold. Our Shepard brings us into One Fold, His Family! Please Read John, Acts and Galatians in many bibles (except NWT) and realize this is for all of US! I like the NIV New Testament.
Pray to our Heavenly Father as Jesus told you to, talk to him and his son. talk openly and ask him anything and everything you need to know, ask for Holy Spirit from them. When you do this w/o fear you will not be able to stop smiling! get to know your spiritual father OBEY HIM! not greedy men. I talk to them anytime I need to make decisions, and I am always directed toward Jesus words in the new Testament. Praying for you now. Sister Wasson
