i really appreciate your videos. for most my early life i’ve been a witness. and i’m just waking up at age 26. it’s terrible how they vilify truth followers of christ with their misinterpretation of the word “apostasy”. I agree with your comment, other than I don’t think they are idiots. I think they are VERY calculating and manipulative. Even tho they are losing members, they still have millions that are completely brainwashed to do ANYTHING they say. And these rejoice at the smallest freedoms, such as wearing pants or growing out a beard. How do they maintain this type of control? It’s evil genius, in my opinion. I ask myself the same thing all the time, “how and why did I believe this for so long?” I have looked within and don’t have a good answer. I was raised a JW, I think my parents were really good people that loved God and thought they were doing right. The only answer I have is that I was just in autopilot for 40 yrs. It’s no excuse, but I just never really examined the JW and it was so ingrained in me that it was very wrong to do that. Even knowing everything that I know now, I still feel icky talking out about them. I’m getting stronger and hope others can see the Truth about the Truth sooner than I did. Thank you Eric for the beautiful speech, my mother and I were excluded only because we were taught by the members of the congregation that they were children of God and part of the New Covenant and should receive the emblems, but also another sister who studies the Bible with us they excluded him only because he said that all Christians are the children of God and the other sheep are the children of God,,,What you said is very true,,,

It was when I read from Rutherford's own words that God's holy spirit doesn't help him as a president of WT, but rather ANGELS that communicate God's word to him. It was then I concluded that his dividing Christians into "Annointed" and "other sheep" makes the organisation a counterfeit and a scam.

A denomination is defined as existing within a specific country. There are 33,000+ total of these "Christian denominations" in 238 total countries. These 33,000 are subdivided into "6 major ecclesiastical-cultural mega-blocs", and ordering them by denomination size we have (I am rounding up or down slightly for convenience, using the year 2000 figures) : Independents (about 22000) Protestants (about 9000) "Marginals" (about 1600) Orthodox (781) Roman Catholics (242) Anglicans (168) So the 33,000 number is from the total of these 6 mega-blocs: 22000 + 9000 + 1600 + 781 + 242 + 168 = 33,000+ So which one of all of those Christian denominations is the true one started by Jesus? well that would depend on who you ask, ask a baptist and he will claim that his denomination/church is the right one, ask a methodist and you will get the same answer, his is the right one, all of them will claim they are the right one that Jesus started. as one can already see they all cannot be the right one as they all have at least one doctrine that is different from all of the rest or there would be some lesser number of them. Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The true church of Jesus Christ has never been prevailed against, though it has often faced sever persecution, yet it has thrived from the time it was first started, anyone who makes the claim that their church/denomination is just restoring what Jesus started are bold faced liars. to say that the true church needed restoration is tosay that it had been prevailed against and having fallen needed restoration.. It will be interesting to see what Jesus has to say about all of the denominations/churches/sects that have claimed theirs was the only true church of Jesus Christ. Personally I say none of the above, as the True church has existed down through the centuries never having been prevailed against and is made up of individual believers all over the world, no denomination or church being the true church, but believers who assemble themselves together can be found in many nominal churches.

I was baptised early 1970 and have preached in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Idaho, Oregon, Washington State, and I have never heard anyone tell us we need a permit. The only one's I have ever heard make that claim is the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses, mostly in Watchtower study article's.

To take the 144,000 as literal would mean taking the seven congregations and the twelve trines of Israel in Revelation as literal if we are being consistent.

Even when the green light is given to reinstate a person who met someone else at that time and had an awful time in a marriage situation (encouraged to continue in the marriage with gaslighting techniques from a few even though the previous wife had left after 18 months of marriage) the reinstatement itself is not a nice process as people just sit there instead of welcoming the person back. Although they avidly make an effort to come to see you when you don't carry on attending after a short time from the wonderful reinstatement experience at the kingdom hall. What annoys me is that we always believed that our voluntary contributions were the only funding that the organisation received. Nobody was told that the government gave any funding towards the organisation. (Unless the elders knew). I am disgusted as it now makes sense that those who I think know this will cover up their own family indiscretions etc. There were decent witnesses and I had some good friends but the organisation relying on government handouts is disgusting..

Today, the word "sanctimonious" is used exclusively in the ironic sense of posing as morally superior to others and this modern usage aptly suits David Splane. However, if David Splane had lived before the English language had been bastardized, what would be the appropriate adjective used to describe David Splane?
It would behoove the GB to actually read the exact description of the 144,000. They are 12,000 x the 12 tribes of Israel. Single Jewish men whom have never known women. None of the current GB participants fit any of those descriptions. 🤔

The prophecy says the four winds of destruction are held back before they are sealed, so it could be interpreted (speculative) as literal virgin Israelite descendants who turn to Christ and follow him during his presence. It’s possible Jesus will setup his administration physically in Jerusalem and the apostles were promised to judge the 12 tribes of Israel. Maybe they are apart from the 144000 and New Jerusalem will be headquarters from geographic Jerusalem.
@@antonypelling9194 The 12 Apostles are to be Judges over the 12 tribes of Israel. Do you read Revelation? What part confuses you on the clear words of Jesus? He said, through the apostle John that there will be 12,000 single men from the 12 tribes of Israel sealed. That means, during the 7 yrs of the reign of Antichrist, those 12,000 x 12 tribes= 144,000. Men will be preaching the word of God to those who are left, Israel and Unbelievers, so that those folks may have a chance of being saved. The ones who hear the word and be saved through the Holy Spirit will most likely be martered (killed) by the Antichrist because they will not take the mark of the beast. The book of Revelation is pretty clear on the 144,000.
Imho, I believe this a two fold broadcast: 1. To appeal to the nations, as the religion is trying to rebrand itself to procure Gov’t funding removed from their charitable status, along w/ trying to stop the bleeding of losing current members & 2. “IF” Norway feels these changes are good enough to reclaim their status, the Governing Body will champion Jehovah as once again blessing their efforts, & no gov’t can stand its theocratic purpose.
I spoke with my uncle that has not attended a WT meeting since 2018 but still has WT leanings. He said that the changes implemented in the GB update#2 are good and that this is probably, "how it always should have been." I then asked him how then can WT forget the actions of God to correct Israel's misgivings with the likes of Nebuchadnessar, then Cyrus, and ultimately even Rome as prophesied by Jesus, "Den of Shredders!- Not one stone shall be left upon a stone"? Good things come from Jehovah, bad things come from Satan. I'd say that is up in the air.

And the great multitude who come out of the tribulation. These ones are different to the 144,000 but are also righteous and have washed their robes white in the blood of the lamb. Rev 7:9-17. (I do agree the number 144,000 is not literal due to the next verses Rev 7:5-8.)

The in laws added to the awful marriage situation and I had to cope with a husband with not only serious physical medical issues but with aggressive mood swings and my father in law would not allow any medication to calm these mood swings as it in his opinion brought reproach on his status as an elder and his family name.

I appreciate Eric. Always backs up what he says with the bible. He uses reasoning, not opinions. Perhaps David could come to one of our bible studies and see for himself who the actual apostate is, when defining the term directly from the bible.
Gods word tells us to be in subjection to superior authority's. If you need a permit then you need a permit or you are taking a stand against the arrangement of God. They can preach all they want. They are not being persecuted.
Eric, Jesus’ disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. Are we to think that they didn’t know how to address God? Their request came because of Jesus’ statements about what and what not to pray for. Praying for food and clothing is something Jehovah already knows we need. Their request could have been worded, “OK, Jesus, what do you think we should pray for?”, or, “What are the most important things to pray for.” Jehovah’s sanctification was the first thing that Jesus taught us to pray for. Jehovah being concerned about his name being sanctified does not mean he will forget about our salvation, it means his sanctification is the foundation for our everlasting salvation.
I know this guy has a big problem with The Trinity (as evidenced by his pretty long series of videos), but it's worth taking some time to try and explain exactly how it harms God and his relationship to us. Here this guy (don't know his name) states that it harms the Father/Son relationship, but to me that simply sounds not much different to the hollow pronouncements handed down by the GB. It seems to me that the Father/Son relationship is at best regarded metaphorically because we also have countless Earthly Father/Son relationships that come to mind and thus misrepresent the unique divine nature there. It's a pretty limited metaphor. As far as I can see, the concept of The Trinity does no harm to God and Christianity, and people should be allowed to hold it or ignore it as they wish. The only problem I see is that some people find it _personally_ hard to digest because they think everything should be simple..
We don't reject the trinity because it isn't simple. We reject the trinity because it is unscriptural. If something is not true, then believing it will adversely affect our relationship with Yahweh, the God of truth. Our heavenly Father is God Almighty. If the holy spirit is God Almighty, then he is our Father. When we pray to our Father in heaven asking that his name be sanctified, we are praying to the holy spirit asking that its name be sanctified. That is silly, unscriptural, and untrue.
Ok, the gb’s teaching and practice have moved far away from the Christianity defined by the Bible, but for this question of the children of God who will reign alongside Jesus: what is the order of greatness? Millions? Billions? Where do they come from? Out of the most sincere of all Christianity, for the last two thousand years? They will reign for a thousand years, over whom? Who will populate the earth? When the earth is populated and filled with perfect humans like Adam and Eve, what will happen? This raises practical questions (procreation, sexuality, overpopulation) if we admit the hypothesis that God, already surrounded by created angels, has nevertheless decided to create humans physically resembling animals but destined for eternal life. Unless I say, like other Christian religions or not, that the hope is life in a spiritual body in heaven with God or eternal death (with flames or without flames), I do not see how you solve the question of the celestial vocation opposed to the original design of eternal life on Earth...
You have many questions, as do we all. But our Father has not given us the answers. Hence the need for faith. We trust in his name (his character) believing that whatever the answers to our questions turn out to be, they will be more than satisfying to us.

But what then? according to the bible, we went from 8 ppl to 8 billion in 4000 years. So, if Satan hadn’t messed it up, perfect mankind would have reached a full paradise earth before the end of the seventh Day. And then? no more kids? praising God the whole eternity? what about the extinction of our Sun in the future? I don’t understand a Creator who lets us with son many questions. I agree with your comment, other than I don’t think they are idiots. I think they are VERY calculating and manipulative. Even tho they are losing members, they still have millions that are completely brainwashed to do ANYTHING they say. And these rejoice at the smallest freedoms, such as wearing pants or growing out a beard. How do they maintain this type of control? It’s evil genius, in my opinion. I ask myself the same thing all the time, “how and why did I believe this for so long?”
I have looked within and don’t have a good answer. I was raised a JW, I think my parents were really good people that loved God and thought they were doing right. The only answer I have is that I was just in autopilot for 40 yrs.
It’s no excuse, but I just never really examined the JW and it was so ingrained in me that it was very wrong to do that. Even knowing everything that I know now, I still feel icky talking out about them. I’m getting stronger and hope others can see the Truth about the Truth sooner than I did.

Personally I say none of the above, as the True church has existed down through the centuries never having been prevailed against and is made up of individual believers all over the world, no denomination or church being the true church, but believers who assemble themselves together can be found in many nominal churches.

I was baptised early 1970 and have preached in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Idaho, Oregon, Washington State, and I have never heard anyone tell us we need a permit. The only one's I have ever heard make that claim is the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses, mostly in Watchtower study article's.

Even when the green light is given to reinstate a person who met someone else at that time and had an awful time in a marriage situation (encouraged to continue in the marriage with gaslighting techniques from a few even though the previous wife had left after 18 months of marriage) the reinstatement itself is not a nice process as people just sit there instead of welcoming the person back. Although they avidly make an effort to come to see you when you don't carry on attending after a short time from the wonderful reinstatement experience at the kingdom hall. What annoys me is that we always believed that our voluntary contributions were the only funding that the organisation received. Nobody was told that the government gave any funding towards the organisation. (Unless the elders knew). I am disgusted as it now makes sense that those who I think know this will cover up their own family indiscretions etc. There were decent witnesses and I had some good friends but the organisation relying on government handouts is disgusting..

The prophecy says the four winds of destruction are held back before they are sealed, so it could be interpreted (speculative) as literal virgin Israelite descendants who turn to Christ and follow him during his presence. It’s possible Jesus will setup his administration physically in Jerusalem and the apostles were promised to judge the 12 tribes of Israel. Maybe they are apart from the 144000 and New Jerusalem will be headquarters from geographic Jerusalem.

The 12 Apostles are to be Judges over the 12 tribes of Israel. Do you read Revelation? What part confuses you on the clear words of Jesus? He said, through the apostle John that there will be 12,000 single men from the 12 tribes of Israel sealed. That means, during the 7 yrs of the reign of Antichrist, those 12,000 x 12 tribes= 144,000. Men will be preaching the word of God to those who are left, Israel and Unbelievers, so that those folks may have a chance of being saved. The ones who hear the word and be saved through the Holy Spirit will most likely be martered (killed) by the Antichrist because they will not take the mark of the beast. The book of Revelation is pretty clear on the 144,000.

What’s your interpretation of the lords supper account in Luke where Jesus specifically tells his apostles they would be part of his kingdom judging the 12 tribes of Israel?
And the great multitude who come out of the tribulation. These ones are different to the 144,000 but are also righteous and have washed their robes white in the blood of the lamb. Rev 7:9-17. (I do agree the number 144,000 is not literal due to the next verses Rev 7:5-8.)
It is also mentioned in Matthew 19:27-30. I believe it refers to the judgment Jesus speaks of in John 5:29.

The in laws added to the awful marriage situation and I had to cope with a husband with not only serious physical medical issues but with aggressive mood swings and my father in law would not allow any medication to calm these mood swings as it in his opinion brought reproach on his status as an elder and his family name.

According to Strong's, "demon" already means "evil spirit".
Eric, Jesus’ disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. Are we to think that they didn’t know how to address God? Their request came because of Jesus’ statements about what and what not to pray for. Praying for food and clothing is something Jehovah already knows we need. Their request could have been worded, “OK, Jesus, what do you think we should pray for?”, or, “What are the most important things to pray for.” Jehovah’s sanctification was the first thing that Jesus taught us to pray for. Jehovah being concerned about his name being sanctified does not mean he will forget about our salvation, it means his sanctification is the foundation for our everlasting salvation.

I know this guy has a big problem with The Trinity (as evidenced by his pretty long series of videos), but it's worth taking some time to try and explain exactly how it harms God and his relationship to us. Here this guy (don't know his name) states that it harms the Father/Son relationship, but to me that simply sounds not much different to the hollow pronouncements handed down by the GB.
It seems to me that the Father/Son relationship is at best regarded metaphorically because we also have countless Earthly Father/Son relationships that come to mind and thus misrepresent the unique divine nature there. It's a pretty limited metaphor.
As far as I can see, the concept of The Trinity does no harm to God and Christianity, and people should be allowed to hold it or ignore it as they wish. The only problem I see is that some people find it _personally_ hard to digest because they think everything should be simple..
We don't reject the trinity because it isn't simple. We reject the trinity because it is unscriptural. If something is not true, then believing it will adversely affect our relationship with Yahweh, the God of truth.
Our heavenly Father is God Almighty. If the holy spirit is God Almighty, then he is our Father. When we pray to our Father in heaven asking that his name be sanctified, we are praying to the holy spirit asking that its name be sanctified.
That is silly, unscriptural, and untrue.
Ok, the gb’s teaching and practice have moved far away from the Christianity defined by the Bible, but for this question of the children of God who will reign alongside Jesus: what is the order of greatness? Millions? Billions? Where do they come from? Out of the most sincere of all Christianity, for the last two thousand years? They will reign for a thousand years, over whom? Who will populate the earth? When the earth is populated and filled with perfect humans like Adam and Eve, what will happen? This raises practical questions (procreation, sexuality, overpopulation) if we admit the hypothesis that God, already surrounded by created angels, has nevertheless decided to create humans physically resembling animals but destined for eternal life. Unless I say, like other Christian religions or not, that the hope is life in a spiritual body in heaven with God or eternal death (with flames or without flames), I do not see how you solve the question of the celestial vocation opposed to the original design of eternal life on Earth...
You have many questions, as do we all. But our Father has not given us the answers. Hence the need for faith. We trust in his name (his character) believing that whatever the answers to our questions turn out to be, they will be more than satisfying to us.
Wasn't Adam created to live on paradise earth forever? He certainly wasn't created to die and go to heaven!
@@Karl-dd4om tnx for your answer, I agree with you, God didn’t tell them they would go to heaven, he says fill the earth. But what then? according to the bible, we went from 8 ppl to 8 billion in 4000 years. So, if Satan hadn’t messed it up, perfect mankind would have reached a full paradise earth before the end of the seventh Day. And then? no more kids? praising God the whole eternity? what about the extinction of our Sun in the future? I don’t understand a Creator who lets us with son many questions. Maybe the heaven solution ( without any question because we don.t know or understand what is heaven) has been preferred by christians…it is not easy or even frustrating to maintain our faith in a hope which brings up so many questions without answers. And we are not all illuminated by God s grace and peace and joy without knowing about the promised future
