Some people consider a PIMO one who still attends meetings. Others might say they are PIMO even though they don't attend meetings. I woke up four years ago, but Watchtower hasn't disfellowshipped me. I haven't been to a meeting in at least nine years. But we don't have to write a letter of disassociation in order to be Physically Out.

God would never teach us lies first before revealing the truth. No error or falsehood can be associated with the one true God. A true believer is someone who knows this and won’t fall victim to the lies and innovations of other humans.

@@billyroland2758 Yes, you have a point. I once believed in the GB too. It makes me laugh sometimes when I look back. Now I’m no longer under their spell. But during the time that I was, there was an inner feeling that things were not adding up. And I thought my doubts were due to my lack of faith and understanding. I thought it was because something was wrong with me. 🤣 Still I’m grateful for all the good things I experienced with JW brothers and sisters. They were very good to me. I miss them but I will never return to that org.

You hit the nail on the head. For years I felt inadequate because I was an exemplary brother and the congregation kept wondering why I wasn't a MS. The elders said it was my hours and I would never be an MS if my hours didn't go up. C/O said the same thing. Funny enough, there were articles on why reporting hours was scriptural. Now suddenly they're throwing out a scriptural precedent? Smh.

Wow how greedy. I’m old enough to remember how the Catholic Church was scorned by JWs for expecting monies.
I questioned the reporting requirement for years, did not agree with it, and realized it was unscriptural, and unreasonable. I guess I was way ahead of the GB.
As a young adult I studied with the JWs. But later on, I ended up in another High control group, called Shincheonji for a decade. The doctrine, tactics and demands are very very similar. So almost every exposing JW video fits my former religion too. We had to report our evangelizing hours too, and reach certain numbers every week. It makes me nauseous to see how these groups work through manipulation, instilling fear and pressure, guilttripping and how they lie, change their doctrines regularly, and do that with a broad smile on their face... I am sorry for all good hearted people who give/gave all their time, heart, money and life for these groups, but are deceived. Thank you for spreading awareness! I left organized religion this year. Watchtower does whatever weird thing it wants to do, and then tells everyone they should "get with the program",... because it's what Jehovah wants them to do. I think Jehovah is fed up with their fraudelent use of his name and reputation.

In Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV Jesus commisioned the eleven disciples saying, " All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. The 'time reporting' change is evident now: my JW neighbours suddenly go into fieldservice every weekend. Because now (as stated in the annual meeting) the elders have 'to really know' their sheep...
So you have to be SEEN preaching by the others.

The "time" thing is a big deal. My conscience would not allow me to count my time so I turned none in since 2002. In 2020, they DF'd me & a big factor was that I was disobedient by not turning in my time. It was fine when they thought I was "inactive" but when they saw me out in the ministry with no report to follow it got their attention.
Yikes! Disfellowshipped for preaching without reporting, and now they are told to preach without reporting. The irony!
As an EX Witness, I’m disgusted by that organization’s mind control. It’s nauseating. The members sit there sheepishly and swallow WHATEVER their masters say.

Leaving Jehovah's Witnesses was the best thing I've ever done for my mental health. Until I was out, I didn't realize how much oppressive guilt I felt over never doing enough in the service.
Amazing, the one standard the organization used to determine whether or not an individual qualifies for privileges in this religion, hours in service, is nowhere to be found in scripture. Good video Eric. Peace

I remember the last assembly that I attended some years ago. The rep from the Gov Bod only had to make any relatively insignificant gesture to get overwhelming applause from the captive audience. I mean he could have spilled his water, (or Vodka?) and got a standing ovation. From my years performing on stage, I know the (high)... adrenaline rush someone gets when you feel the admiration of a crowd responding to something they like. This euphoric feeling of power, and control is addicting, and is hard to duplicate anywhere else, (it's what keeps the Rolling Stones going) and also the J W Gov Body. Tho they claim humility, it's just an act, or a play, and what you see on stage is only what they want you to see, but some of them are not very convincing actors in my opinion.. I had the opportunity to have met S.Lett when he was in town some years ago as a traveling overseer. He & some of my friends from the K H stopped by the house in an attempt to impress & recruit me. Needless to say It didn't work. Some people are just easy to see thru? As for the GoBod...i m o...behind the veil of meekness and lowly selflessness lies a group of power hungry, control addicts, and that built in crowd of clapping cronies in this vid look like a scene out of the movie 1984. At my last convention, I remember thinking just how programmed it all seemed to be...really to the point of being creepy
I knew I didn't belong there. The JWs are programmed automatons, part of a collective, brain dead continuum, and yes, my entire family are happy, and euphoric about the changes coming down from the meeting. They call it a loving, and understanding gesture by the benevolent Gov Bod, sensing the stress on the members in these troubled times , and as a result of the "light getting brighter." Eric, I love how you point how Herd does not recognize our Lord commandment. How can they recognize the voice of Jesus if they don’t give a care about Jesus’ instructions to his true followers. The Watchtower Society's Governing Body may seem to get away with their lying and hypocrisy, but sooner or later, they will have to answer for those evil actions. What if they suddenly died without repenting of those sins? Chances are that they will end up in Hell, suffering terrible anguish in every form. That is something each and every one of us ought to consider seriously.
The Watchtower Society should realize not only that God hates lying and hypocrisy, but why He hates these sins so much. The Book of Proverbs Chapter 6:16-19 warns us that God hates a lying tongue. The Book of Revelation also warns us that liars, along with sorcerers, murderers, fornicators, blasphemers, and other wicked, unrepentant sinners shall not enter the kingdom of God. They are stern but loving warnings inspired by God to exhort us to repentance from sin and to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior over our lives.
"All go to one place; all come from dust, and all return to dust." Eccl. 3: 20
No. The GB members won't suffer pain after death. Also, "hell" is the grave, not a place of torment.

Side point, the Israelites didn’t set any time aside for Jehovah because that’s not the name of god that they ever used or uttered. Neither did Jesus.
Jehovah is just a hybrid of the word Adonai or ‘my lord’ and Yahweh that was first penned by William Tyndale, only about 500 years ago. It isn’t accepted by any Jews and very few Christians. But the JW’s use the name like they have a trademark on god’s only real name.

Semantics and completely irrelevant to the topic. The fact is God did have a name and we know is at the tetragrammaton however you wish to "translate" it. It was penned into the old testament thousands of times but later replaced by the title "lord". The fact that the later jewish religion didnt want to use it, say it or whatever, is a reflection of their own superstition. As far as God was concerned, the Jewish religious system0- in so far as they were a "special" people for God- ended when Christ died and the christian arrangement was instituted. It doesnt matter if the Jews or anyone else wants to argue to the contrary and they are free to do so of course. But the Jews today, or since after the first century are no longer God's/Yahwehs/Jehovah or whatever you wish to call him "special" possession. Yes they were once , but no longer.

The bible very clearly says that the WHOLE world lies in the power of the wicked one( devil, satan etc). That is, the whole human system - politics, economics, entertainment , media and especially religion. John says in Revelation that the Devil ( and his cohort) was cast out of heaven down to the earth where he is very angry knowing he has a short time. Jesus told his followers that they would be
persecuted by the world. In that context and if all those words are true, would I expect "real christians" to be treated favourably by "the world"? Would I expect "real christians" to really "fit in"with "the
world"? Do people even believe the Bible on such matters? The Bible says that at the conclusion of things, just as in Noah's day, people will be going

At 28:47 you state that there is no record of the Apostles baptising people in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I disagree, at Acts 19:2-3 Paul meets certain apostles and asks them if they received the Holy Spirit when they believed, they repley that they did not know that there was a Holy Spirit, Paul in verse 3 then asks: "how then were you baptised." This question proves that the baptismal formula contains the words "Holy Spirit" you've got confused because you mistakenly think that Acts 2:38, 8, 10 and 19:5 are an ever changing baptismal formula, they are not, they are a form of Biblical shorthand which refers back to the matthew 28:19 baptismal formula. I am a former Oneness Pentecostal, now a Trinitarian.

If by the fruit the tree is known it is blasphemous to claim that the peace prophecied by JEHOVAH'S Prophet is the fruit of Satan or that the bloodstained history of the churches of Christendom catholic,protestant or orthodox is the fruit of Christ.
