    You should get Roku to send you a pair of Roku tv wireless speakers so you can do a review on how this sounds in surround sound !!

    You can add the roku wireless speakers to the mix. They will pair with the smart sound bar. There's your surround sound right there.

      When he reviewed this they would only pair with a roku tv not the soundbar

    An update to allow USB Ethernet jack support would be great.

    Seen this at Walmart, the first thing that happened is the subwoofer disconnected during the demo, funny as the wireless speakers Roku came out with didn't fair well either (constantly having connection issues).

    • @alberto1005
      @alberto1005 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have the wireless speakers and don't have any connection issues with them. Could've been interference with all the devices at the store.

    • @madmax2069
      @madmax2069 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@alberto1005 my friend has the wireless Roku speakers and they constantly have issues, he's on his second set, either one or both speakers would constantly disconnect.
      I just didn't bother, I ended up buying an SMSL AD18, Micca MB42X, and a Micca subwoofer.

      Not the same. That is an Onn Roku, not as reviewed on the video. Another reviewer pointed this out.

    I wish Logitech would update the Z906 after all these years with HDMI audio input support. That is still my go to for budget 5.1.

    I bought this system. Was wondering can I add additional speakers. I got the soundbar 2 speakers,subwoofer. Sounds really good. But want to add more if possible.

    Vizio 5.1 Soundbar with Smartcast should work quite well for some of you guys instead of this.

    • @CantankerousDave
      @CantankerousDave 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was going to say the same thing. Their 36” 5.1 bar usually goes down to $150 between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

    • @Montisaquadeis
      @Montisaquadeis 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      And that $150 or so will net you the Soundbar the wireless subwoofer and the 2 rear speakers for the price of the roku soundbar itself WITHOUT the wireless sub and for the price of both the soundbar and sub at $300 or less you can get a longer soundbar from vizio such as the 40" one for like $240, and for $400 you can get the 44" vizio 5.1 smartcast soundbar. I personally have an older 40" 5.1 Soundbar from them and its been solid for my bedroom.

    • @capnsnaxx
      @capnsnaxx 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Montisaquadeis yeah I agree the Vizio is a much better bang for your buck. I got the 5.1.2 with Dolby atmos for $299 when it went on sale. It was definitely worth it too.

    Supposedly you can add their Bluetooth speakers and make it a surround sound system.

      I got internet service yesterday. My roommate didn't know things could hook to the internet with wires. Was amazed my HTPC 18 inches from the router had a wire to the router.

    There are Roku speakers you can connect or the sound at. Check out the website. I am curious as to whether you unlock surround mode when you add the wireless speaker (not subwoofer). Any know about this?

    How does the sub do with interference from WiFi? I am in an apartment building with numerous other wireless networks being broadcast. I tried a Samsung Wireless Soundbar system a while back and there was so much lag between the front and rear speakers I had to return it.

      This comment confuses me because my Roku 3 from 6 years ago is still kickin' like it did as new.
      My Nexus Player isn't. Updates eventually made it unusable. Nor is my 2015 4K Samsung smart TV. It keeps losing features it shipped with over time or just not getting new things. Oh and it crashes constantly now. And ARC stopped working with my also Samsung home theater setup. Replaced the cable twice and did many factory resets. Never buying another Samsung anything.
      I just really want a new dumb TV.

    Doesn’t work well at all with RokuTVs.
    Very poor user experience with duplicate/nested Roku interfaces and duplicate remotes that look identical and must both be used.
