Thank You Luke for the reviews on the Roku sound bar & Roku Sub Woofer I pre ordered the Roku Sub Woofer last month and got a e mail saying I will get it sometime this month.I have the Roku speakers that came out last year and they are excellent sound & bass
I picked this up to use with an old Plasma TV. Panasonic Viera 2005 model. The TV only has one HDMI input and it is not CEC or ARC. The problem is that the Roku smart Soundbar does not have the option in settings to trouble shoot when the TV power button doesn't work.
Does it do screen mirror? Does it have a usb port to play personal media if so what codec does it support? All questions that wasn't answered for a "review" vudeo.
OK, I finally got a chance to go over the more information web page and the remote pictured with the review sound bar does NOT have those two new programmable buttons that the remote for the 2019 Ultimate have. Sad that again it looks like Roku is unable to get all the best features into what I would otherwise think of as their top tear product.
@@mneedes2 I wouldn't touch the Walmart version it's not as powerful won't sound as good and uses an IR remote which means you have to point directly at it
I got the soundbar and subwoofer last week and it's impressive for the price

I can not wait to get one, running on a roku one in my living room and it has trouble going on, still love Roku.

Bose is just high priced you can get better sound quality from other companies for waaaay cheapee

Did you run into any app space issues? The Roku stick has a pitiful amount of storage for channels and I don’t want to go through that again.

Can headphones be connected to the remote?
You can always use the Roku app on your phone or tablet for private listening.
The app works great for headphones and is an EZ way of getting a slideshow up on your tv.
My JBL soundbar has gone bad. Wondering if I can get this bar and use my JBL subwoofer with it since it has bluetooth capabilities.

Does your TV not have AR C? Perhaps an optical connection?

Compared to what? Most good quality sound bars with wireless subs are 300-500, this has a Roku ultra built in worth 100.
Walmart Onn soundbar version will be $129.

@@KapinKrunch Walmart sells the Roku voice remote, it adds another $20 to the total package, but at least it's an option.
