You also have sound settings that only show up when you watch something on netflix or other streaming services. Click the star button and you have some other sound settings not available on the audio settings menu.
I just got mine today, and based on what you're saying, I guess it doesn't sound good in a Living room. Because I have it in my bedroom and.... I can't tell you how overwhelming the bass is. Of course the highs and mids are there but I'm a bass head, and the bass from the subwoofer, EVEN THE SURROUND SOUND SPEAKERS Can give something like JBLs BOOM BOX a HUGE run for their money and that's WITHOUT the Woofer, so I'm COMPLETELY satisfied
Update: So I had to return them, because I guess my TV couldn't really handle all the speakers, plus I didn't have the soundbar.... Yet I had a Roku Tv and it says it can work with it, but I guess not as well, which is why just says on the box, that it requires a soundbar. But yeah I returned them and got a regular onn. Surround sound, and it was just what I expected it to be... Ass. So it literally just sat in my room collecting dust until I got paid again. When I got paid, I had enough money to pay my bills and A TON to treat myself nicely. Sooo I went and bought the OFFICIAL Roku Surround sound with the soundbar and everything... And honestly.... It's ridiculous how good they sound. There is a difference in the onn version and the official one, for example, the official subwoofer is 100watts more powerful than the onn one, the soundbar comes with more features, you get the newer remote and with the onn version, you get the typical Roku remote, not as much features with the soundbar and the woofer of course, is 150watts vs 250watts. Also one more thing... The subwoofer is claimed to go down to only 40hz.........it can hit 20hz causally😁, so keep that in mind.
Its for the people who just want to set up and watch movies hassle free. U can adjust sound but not nearly as much as a sonos. I think it sounds great in my bed room with sub and sound bar only.
I'm looking to get the woffer for my new bedroom streambar, and this wallmart one is 50 bucks cheaper... i wonder if there would be conectivity problems... hmm
@@autojohn-pu1vf i got the Walmart brand because i personally dont like waiting for it to come in the mail and because i dont need nothing to crazy for my small bed room. Roku brand sounds a little better and have voice talk future. No connectivity problems!

I’m no speaker expert but I have the soundbar its booming, such an awesome bar. can’t wait to get the rest of the set It does not sound cheap or feel cheap to me at all Roku does amazing job with the pricing. Good people these Roku people understand goodnesses in Gaming and movies to music Quality all the way down to giving the people Quality over high pricing, straight up Santa Claus, love Roku People. Ya I feel like designers care for the people with this soundbar blast.
For the record, they DO NOT have to be paired with the soundbar. They can be used with any Roku TV. The soudbar is not required if you have a Roku TV. Not sure why everyone gets this wrong.
I think ONN/Roku uses language on the packaging that leads people to believe you have to buy the sound bar also. It’s misleading. In reality they can be paired with any Roku TV or Roku Soundbar.
Nope, This is a Wal-Mart brand (ONN) that costs about the same as the real ROKU. They are the same design but made by different people. It is in essence a legal knockoff. The Warranty is not by Roku ...and not Walmart but by some third party for Wal-Mart. These may be great but for near the same money...I am buying the Roku brand.
Walmart bought the onn. company..... And they use it to partner with other companies to offer a cheap alternative.... The onn. Roku is manufactured from Roku it's just exclusively for Walmart.... The onn. Roku sounds better in a smaller room like a bedroom....
Walmart had them on clearance. The wireless speakers I got today for $83 & the 10in Sub for $70. ? can I Bluetooth 4 wireless speakers the sub to my ROKU tv without buying the sound bar and still get the same affect as a sound bar?
Hi everyone, I'm about to buy the entire system, however, I have a question for all of you guys, can someone explain why some sets have the word ONN and some others don't? I just want to make sure to buy the best option! Thanks in advance!
The word ONN is a Walmart brand and the ONN Roku Streambar is only sold at Walmart. It is less expensive than the Roku Streambar because the remote does have a headphone jack or free headphones. The amplifier is also lower in wattage.
Everett Todd i have a roku tv and i set up all three types of speakers and the roku tv will automatically recognize the soundbar speaker and disable the streaming component and set it up as part of the surround sound system. It will also automatically disable the tv speakers so all sound will go through the soundbar and the other paired speakers and subwoofer. Finally it will automatically disable the remote for the soundbar so you only will have to use the roku tv remote so when you power the tv on and off the speakers will also power on and off. The sound is pretty amazing too.

I brought it all and as a bass lover the woofer sucks soooo bad. For me the whole system shouldn’t cost more than $150 combined. I figured it’d be an upgrade to my old system and although the speakers are loud and great my old 4 inch kicks 10 times harder than the onn 10 inch subwoofer. It’s mind blowing how little power they put in it and dared to sell it at $130. Absolute let down and waste of money.
Great product... You can get this set for less than the Sonos Beam. And it has AirPlay 2 with the most recent update.
Roku has airplay aswell
Finally you show the difference in both Roku speaker and subwoofer. Now imma buy the subwoofer
With the newest software update to 9.4 released today, you should now have the ability to control the volume on the rear speakes.
It doesn’t show it for me

The Smart Soundbar is only necessary if your TV lacks a built-in Roku.
Also remove any Roku unit you might already have attached to your TV.
