I can’t recommend the Metal Cloak skids enough for any Eco Diesel! It’s almost like having thick rally car skids from the front axle to the rear axle covering the DEF tank and Entire DPF system, transfer case, transmission, and oil pan! The only things you see are the control arms and drive shafts once installed. You can still easily access your fuel filter. All the Eco Diesel components are super expensive and hard to find outside of a dealership, and chances are they could be on back order leaving you without a Jeep for a very long time! I heard Teddy is getting some installed! ⚠️The 11/16 rivet nut can be a pain, so drill carefully and start small with your drill bits!
Noooo...he didn't get rid of his TJ😦😰. Tell him to do like me & just keep all your Jeeps & make your wife roll her eyes. I now have my 99 TJ that I just did a complete rebuild on with a V8 rock crawler, a 2015 JK, 2021 JT Rubicon & a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 392. I'm not obsessed🤣!! Oh well, I can't wait until I see what you & MetalCloak are teaming up to do. Great video. Mike, you did a great job!!
Huge thanks for watching and following along. We have some plans with Metalcloak on our 2 2-door Willys Jeeps. Stay tuned on that. Your TJ sounds insane. Cheers from the team at EPIC!
East Coast Canadian winters? Nothing can withstand that environment lol! We'll find out ourselves with our own personal testing. Stay tuned. Thanks for watching and cheers from the team at EPIC!
Hey guys. the mount that you install at 10:15. Do I need that for my build as well? I got the track back from you, and opened the package, but it is just the bar, no mount was included. Can I install it without this mount, and use the OEM Mopar mount?
No idea if they're gonna put the new Hurricane motor in a Jeep. It's probably too long in its current configuration. In the meantime, we'll just stick to installing Hemis in Jeeps ;-) Cheers from the team at EPIC!
With this kit since it has the adjustable control arms and trackbars from Metalcloak it doesn't have to be torqued at rest on the ground due to the type of joints in all the listed components.
Falcons run much stiffer than the Reds. When the Falcons are new, they’re almost too stiff. Mine have 30k miles on them and my wife’s have 2k on them, it almost hurts to ride in hers now. Once they wear in a bit it softens up. I’m hoping Metalcloak will be at Jeep bash with some discounts so I can strike a deal. I have 5 brands underneath my JTOD 😂
@@camaroboi13 oh interesting. Do you have the adjustable Falcons? That is what I am considering adding - soft, medium and firm would be great to have as options
@@theofficialcarter15I run the sp2.1 non adjustable Falcons. I have them on my 24 Willy’s JLU with 3.5” lift and also on my 22 JTOD with 4.5” lift. To me it’s like buying a mattress, if you want medium you buy firm and break it in. If you buy medium and break it in it will be too soft.
More gold then a gangster smile up in there.
Dang, Mike is the Man!
I can't handle all the Mike in this video
Can you actually have too much Mike in one video? I think not.
Gonna have to disagree, I feel it could use a bit more Mike. Having two Mikes in the same shot would do. #mikecollab
@@Gretchen_Trouble Two Mikes in one shot? That’s like crossing the streams in Ghostbusters-hilarious but potentially world-ending! #DoubleMikeMageddon
Hey hey hey! Maybe I should’ve Mic’d up too? 😂
@@metalcloakmikeI just subbed, so this video got you at least 1 more.
I want that Method hat!

Waiting on Wills long travel with those new metal cloak black shocks
We have that video coming soon. It's an impressive setup. Cheers from the team at EPIC!
Uhhhh....it's rad. Epic was awesome as usual..and the set up is very very good. Will be sharing more soon!
You guys crack me up every time you post! 🤣 GB and stay safe!

Thanks so much for watching. We appreciate you. Cheers from the guys at EPIC!
Love upgrades 🎉 and ginger fender shirt

Love the new content. Keep it up and you can count on me to eagerly lap it all up. Now onto the Willys build boys!
We're Willy building very shortly! Stay tuned! Cheers from the team at EPIC!
I really like the stance it had once you put it on the ground! Oh wait… 👀
He should spend a few bucks on the rear sway bar link reinforcement brackets. Ask me how I know why those are important? 😅
Yes, that will be a future add-on for sure! Cheers from the team at EPIC!
Great video, how do you think the MetalCloak components will handle our salty Canadian winters? I'm on the east coast.

I have had metalcloak skids on my Jeep for 3 years. Still standing up good here in Alberta. I wheel mainly Alberta, B.C .

I see you guys removed the geo correction brackets to install the MC lift. Did you guys notice any on road ride difference without them?
With the Ecodiesel is he running stock gears with that lift?
Currently yes but he will be regearing
Dont know about the longevity of the hurricane motor yet but would it fit in a gladiator and does Jeep/Stellantis have plans for that?

Shouldn’t you final torque track bars & control arms sitting at ride height? Or will this not bind
With this kit since it has the adjustable control arms and trackbars from Metalcloak it doesn't have to be torqued at rest on the ground due to the type of joints in all the listed components.
@@TheEPICBeardedGinger ok sweet thanks makes sense
Chris sold his TJ? Again? Any bets on when he buys it back again? Lol.
Are you going to still be offering the falcon shocks? If so, would be great to get a comparison and pros/cons for both
Yes we will be and yes we plan to do a comparison video down the road after enough miles on them.
@@TheEPICBeardedGinger awesome to hear!! 🙌

So it’s not 100% bolt in? Or is that just cause it’s newer jeep?
So technically its bolt in, besides the issues we ran into from the previous "lift" install.
