    Cute and non biased woman. Wonderful channel. Finally found one I really like.
    Sleep between 9.30 till 7 is best for me, the human growth hormone that is released during that time is one of the most important things for anti aging, just bought hgh boost on iherb, expensive but slows down aging dramatically.

    I have a question for you. I have hard time sleeping on schedule because I work shift work and also 12 hour shifts. I am doing a lot of overtime as well. I been doing this for 18 years now and I don't know how to adjust so I could have a better sleep. Please help. Thanks so much. You are amazing.

    Great video Joy! I keep telling Matt not to bring his phone into the bedroom... still working on that one lol But were are all about the eye masks and I also will read two pages of a book then pass out. I swear I've been reading The Womens Code for months..

    Thank you! I like my bed and pillow I need a new one though, and I'm so attached to mine I've had them for years so I'm sure a new one is good for me. My partner takes up a lot of the bed (moves over to the middle) and snores, he also brings technology into the bedroom and plays videos on his phone. I use earphones and have a computer/laptop in another room.

      @@joyoushealth He doesn't sleep much, he does ok on not much sleep thankfully. I need 8-10 hrs sleep otherwise I am very tired, dizzy and cranky especially if it's interpted< I can't concentrate without it and need caffeine through the day
      .

    I'm a pretty light sleeper. What are some tips you may have to sleep more deeply without being easily disturbed?

      Have you tried ear plugs and an eye mask? You want to eliminate any possible interruption in your sleep. Also, make sure you avoid artificial light from mobiles devices, TV, computers etc about 1.5-2 hours before bed.

      My mattress is Essentia and you can get great natural rubber pillows from Essentia or Sleep Country!

      Yes! Magnesium is a potent anti-stress mineral that calms the nervous system and relaxes muscles, so YES, great idea to take before bed. The easiest way to take it is just add it to some water and drink before bed. Natural Calm is a brand that is very easy to find in North America.

      Daniella S for sure! That's not uncommon.Then capsule form will be better for you, there are many good brands: AOR, Thorne, Pure Encapsulations. Just avoid magnesium oxide, sulfate and carbonate because they are all super cheap forms of Mg with poor absorption.

      Ecotools makes a nice one and it's bamboo so it's very soft.

      You could try wool, but it won't be hypoallergenic.

    Hello. I'm a shift worker. I work at night (from 11pm to 7am) every night except Wednesday and Thursday. Can you offer any advice to me on how to get better sleep? I'm tired all the time, I keep a headache. I don't go to sleep the same time everyday and I only seem to get good sleep on the 2 nights that I'm off (Wednesday and Thursday). I really want to start getting better sleep. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

      Michele Jenkins Hi, I work retail and work all hours. Blackout curtains and a sleep mask really help block out light. We're built to have sunlight as our alarm clock so any light coming in triggers us awake. I try to go to bed and wake up at the same time too. I've got friend who has one of those fit bit things that measures her sleep. When she's at her lightest sleep she programed her phone to emit sounds to lull her back to deep REM sleep. Keep your caffeine consumption to just after you wake up. Try not to have any 6-7hours before bedtime. I've also done some of the things she's talked about and they're all helpful. Hope this helps.😀

      I would recommend investing in a sleep mask or black out blinds that will make your room completely dark. Supplementing with magnesium may also be helpful to get you into a relaxed state before sleep. I would also recommend avoiding looking at your phone before you go to sleep in the morning as the blue light that is emitted will keep you awake for longer. Hope that helps! :)

    How do you kick the habit of going to bed with an iPad watching movies and Utube? I think I would panic if I didn't have something to lull me to sleep. Appreciate any suggestions.

      Maria Amundsen maybe try to read a book or listen to a podcast or an audiobook (there are a lot available on youtube). That way you are at least sceen-less...

    A sleep mask doesn't ever stay on! But I absolutely need earplugs. The slightest sound wakes me up and the worst is when I travel and forget to pack them. I've learned to keep a pair in my purse at all times just in case.

      Ear plugs are a great idea too! Maybe the strap is too loose on your sleep mask?
