The El Caminos were built on the same chassis as a station wagon originally, and the space behind the seats on the El Camino is what would be the back seat floor board/foot space.

I some how lost mine. I am in the process of putting mine back together and it's gone. The bracket that holds the brake line that goes to the Caliper. Just let me know how much? thanks

If you engine swap your truck and you can get the money together to do it you should put the new 7.3L "Godzilla" engine in it. In stock form it makes 430hp 475tq but they said with headers and a good tune they make ~508 completely stock. They are $8150 from Ford Performance and you'll never have to worry about breaking it with all forged internals, piston squirters a variable oil pump, roller rockers etc that they come with from the factory. And the really psycho part is it looks like you could bore one out .250 easily which would make it a 499cu in.. (they are 445 stock) performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-6007-73 Oh and it's the same bolt pattern as all mod motors so you can easily find a bellhousing for it.
I think she might have been technically correct for a modern car what you should have done was ask her if she took the headlight bucket out but then it be the grill cuz it's technically the grill. But of course but those centerpieces could be the grill that's why I'll just stick to the 67 through 69

200 for a tail gate and had to give one up to bad u don't live by me my friend has a sh ton of these pu from 67 to 72 i was just looking at a 69 1 ton 4x4 flat bed in good shape running and driving for 500 bucks and they put a 390 in it . it went real quick i turned it down because i just have way to many 67 to 72 ford pu's plus i all ready have my dream pu 70 high boy with dana 60/80 lockers with a 4 speed 390 engine but i have a 428 that i'm going to rebuild for it and no it's not a performance engine just going to keep it stock for the most part

I don't understand why people try to sell their old cars on the internet, and then when people won't pay what they want for it, they just scrap it. Like if that's where you are at just sell it for scrap price to someone who is going to enjoy it. There are a lot of young kids who are being dissuaded from buying old cars because everyone wants top dollar for junk.
