Love the short bed. This is going to be a sweet truck. I am building a 1967 Ford F250 short bed right now and I am looking forward to watching your progress also.
I sure hope so, it’s definitely going to take some work but it’s hard to beat a short bed! I’ll stop in and check out your truck as well! Thanks for stopping by!
@@MDMcVay11462 Your absolutely correct! I had a comment saying the latch was factory, and after some research I found that it was an uncommon factory option. Pretty cool! Appreciate ya stopping by. Check back for more.
Really? I never knew they offered a locking release. That’s pretty cool. After doing some looking I think the seats from around a 92 f150. So I guess it will work for now but I’d rather have the factory seat.
In this case, consider it more like they know you want it but it’s gonna hurt to make it happen. A lot like bite the bullet. Just easier on your dental work lmao
@@MDMcVay11462 appreciate the insight. What ever I end up with I plan to keep it a V8. Never been a big fan of the I6. I was thinking 302 if I swap out the 351.
Nice ford
Thank you!

I'm like 90% sure that the Hood release is either a Dealer option or a factory one

That’s a factory correct locking hood release, the seats not stock for the 73-79 truck.

"Bite the pillow" That is not the way I remember that expression...

Change engie
I’ve heard the 351m isn’t the best. Plan is to run it as is once I get after it and then later down the road who knows.
@@HilltopRetroShop Its not I would suggest a 300 I6 or a 302 over it, a 460 if you have the time but the 351M are not the best
