Nice collection. By the time you get done with your walk through I was drooling. Ramcharger SUV 4 wheel drive is my favorite. But you still can't beat them four-door dually four wheel drive '70s model early 70s. Kick-Ass truck.
In 1988/89 I had a 1969 Camper Special, Jet Black! Loved that truck!
I got a 1976 d200 2door regular box 2wd has 1971 383 Dana 70 rear end trucks are great
Just put 440 in my 1973 D100 club cab got to love the sound of that big block rolling over and firing up

Let's get done quickly on the road(dirt off-road)!! Not a lot of talking but, working. We are car guyz too. So, no talking.. JUST WORKING
My parents had a 1979 Plymouth Trail Duster when I was a kid. It had a 360, four speed standard transmission with granny gear. No a/c. Also, no back seat. That old thing took us across the West multiple times and all over California. Man, do I miss that thing! I'm learning about Carter/Edelbrock carburetors right now so that come spring I can rebuild the ThermoQuad on my '79 D100 stepside (318). Maybe in a couple of years when I have a shop attached to my house I'll get myself a Trail Duster or a Ram Charger.
All the trucks in that warehouse are my perfect daily driver, love squarebody, V8 and or old swoops.
14:38 Ohhh the Sparkomatic. That was the cheap auto parts store tape deck. I think JC Whitney used to sell those as well. The cool kids had Pioneer Supertuners, Kenwood, or if you were really into it, Alpine or Blaupunkt.

My 2 power wagon are 1975 and now both have 5.9 Cummins . 1/2 ton 4x4. Which was my father's and i rebuilt the whole truck, he got to see his truck run before he passed in 2009.Other is my all purpose , pto winch equipped

I am so happy for you that you got a trail duster I love the cars on your channel there is a site that I go to call Jonathan W and he has a 46 dodge that he wants to start working on I’ve never seen a 46 Dodge truck in my life it is really good looking and also there is a site that I go to court classic truck rescue and he lives in Oregon and he has to get rid of 50 to 60 GMC pick up trucks because they are making him I feel so bad for him I love when people save old domestic vehicles

My oldest son just got his grandfather's 1978 Powerwagon full-time 4wd 318 to get road ready. That truck was a beast would pull a 6 horse trailer 65mph

You get the big white dually going that started on fire
I had a TrailDuster in 1978 and it had a 360 like that one does. Talk about some horsepower! I pulled a dualwheeled John Deere tractor out of the mud one time. I had what was pretty new for those days some 12" wide BF Goodrich all terrain tires on it. All I had to do was take some air out of the tires and it yanked that big ass tractor out of the mud. It was a bad ass machine down here in the Bayou. One bad thing about these trucks was the electronic ignition. What another issue was was that it got 12 miles to the gallon no matter if I went 40pmh or 80 mph it never changed. No way to get better gas mileage but it had a huge gas tahnik and like I said huge power.

I stumbled on your channel and you inspired me to dig out some old VHS tapes of what I was doing 25 years ago. Some of the similarities are almost eerie, my first car was identical to your brown duster. I bought it when I was 15, swapped in a 360/A833/8.75 and painted it john deere green. I'm converting and uploading a couple old videos to my channel now. I also had a $500 '72 D100 as a parts hauler. Unfortunately in the northeast, these cars were rusted out 30 years ago, my duster was mostly tiger hair and body fill. Watching your videos is like a time machine back to my teens. I wish video cameras had been a thing back then, but some memories are probably best left in my head.

I think the C Series trucks are the best looking of the old styles. I want to build one with an old FirePower 392 hemi.

Ricky is a good guy, I bought my 78 w200 crew cab from him and some parts. Also looked at the blue big block crew cab short bed but the entire bed is rusted off almost

I just noticed at the beginning of the video the old blue Dodge with the 440 has Jackman rims on the back which were popular snack in the 80s buddy mine had trucks that the Jackman Wheels

I love all the cigarette butts in the trailduster ashtray to wonder how long those have been there
The pick up is nice for a two tone paint job... i prefer Bordeaux red and Cream white..
That trailduster has a Carter b&b carb, my personal faverite 2 bbl carb. That thing is sweet. On the big block truck reverse and 2nd share the same clutch pack. Easy fix, drop trans and rebuild. Love those old mopars.
That trailduster is pretty rare, wasnt nearly as popular as the blazer or bronco. Realy good solid old unit, would love to have one myself.

I owned a 1972 D100 long bed , now i own a 1992 D150. My dad rebuilt a 1954 step side . But this is the first time i have seen a
Ford towing a Dodge. Normally the other way around.

Check the spring on side of carbeurater if not up shifting works different than Chevy keep a ballast resistor in glove box get rid of Carter carb and automatic hubs you will have one of the most bulletproof vehicles ever made

I drove a 76 trailduster for 34 years one of the options that year was a built in cooler complete with drain plug and insulation instead of regular center console that was different times
The hard grill thats hard to find is the one with out the turn signal in the grill they look realy good with out them but imposble to find. The duster is the best out of them in less you find a power wagon.I Would of bought in a hart beat.
One of my Moparhead cousin had a granny low manual Dodge stakebed with a very worn 360. We've swapped in my Satellite's 318 and it still runs 31 years after the swap. Smokes a fair bit but who cares, that engine is strong...... and fairly fuel efficient....... if you want to believe that....... stock iron single plane intake and 2barrel carb....... and that ballast resistor...... booooyyyy, but it runs

I grew up on a farm and that shot with the spare parts vehicles along the woods reminded me of my dad's farm. We had 62 and 63 Savoys and Belevederes along with a 48 Dodge 2dr sedan with Fluid Drive lining the edge of the woods. Thanks for bringing back some good memories. Great video.

I didnt had power to continu my model chanel, but wathcing all your episodes and seeing all of thos cars put so much passion into my soul man thanks to you! Hope one day i will own car like that , Im from Poland Europe and its very hard for us to get such cars and kinda expensive not so popular but American cars are the best!The sounds of engines is so amazing!Old pickups are the most beautifful cars in the world! 2 days ago i have seen 2 trailers with about 12 cars from USA , it had fev pickups and some cadilacs| Dodge. Man You are bigest inspiration for me ! That blue DODGE is amazing and have verry ugly back lights :D xD. but is amazing anyway haha!
