I painted my stock steel wheels a machinery grey color on my truck when I still had the stock wheels, and it looked a lot better than that ugly argent silver color they were originally that's for sure.
the splash rangers only came with the fiberglass stepside beds. with a 4.0 v6, a 5 spd. and 8.8 rear they were actually pretty quick. that Lexus v8 will bolt into your buddy's Cherokee XJ wagoneer if it has the AW4 auto trans, the Lexus v8s have the same trans as 4.0 auto XJ cherokees.
sir, that GS300 is a 2jz-ge, the NA variant of the 2jz-gte that came in the same car but called aristo, the only car (i believe) that only came with the 1jz-ge (NA) was the Gzx100 it's the Chaser variant that never came to the states
Now you are very knowledgeable and I'm not really sure but will the rims and tires off of a 80s supper duty truck work some of those fancy crome factory looking wheels were quite nice . Any ways love the channel and all that you do keep up those American classics.
Falken Wild Peaks is what I ran on my 86 250, up until 2018 then I have Mickey Thompson Baja stz now and they're a good looking tire. I even contemplated BFG Baja's! Seeing your bullnose makes me want to tear into mine asap
Back in 1977 I bought a 1957 Ford F-100 short bed with the big Ford 6 and three on the tree. I paid 500 bucks for it. I rattle can painted it, replaced the clutch master and slave cylinder and drove it for a couple of years. I sold it to a lady who drove it from where I lived in Washington to Utah. It was a neat old truck.
My OBS would buck when it got hot. If you laid into the throttle it would bog down and you had to ease into the throttle to get her to rev up. It ended up being the Throttle Position Sensor so maybe it's worth checking that on your Bullnose.
Back in the day, when i worked on fords, the 1. Map sensor was failing. That would make them buck and even lose power. They will not throw codes for them when they failed. 2. Put a fuel gauge on the fuel rail there is a Schrader valve on there. At idle should around 30 psi, and when you disconnect the vacuum hose of the fuel regular you just put on, you should read 40 psi. 3. 6 months ago, i had to install new fuel pump on a different Ford. It lasted 5 minutes and barely ran. So fuel pressure test while driving is really good way to check fuel system good luck.
Hey! I had an Allante. Lol the bodies were made in Italy by Pinnafirina. They shipped them to Detroit to put drivelines in. They were a small V8. Heavy car and the V8 wasn't all that, but it sounded cool with custom exhaust. Also featured in the movie Cadillac Man, with Robin Williams.
While I do appreciate that you wanna make street-rods and fun stuff, I love redemption videos. I love getting junkyard content and watching it get restored and redeemed and back in the streets after abuse misuse or neglect. its great content.
That Econoline van looks like it also shares side marker lights with 73-79 dent side F series. I could be wrong, but they look really close. Then again those marker light lenses are super affordable new.
Hey, how are the front and rear bumpers on the Fridge? I’m needing a set if they’re good and straight to restore my late-grandfather’s ‘59 he bought new. Will you be at Grand Nats?
You should change the coolant on the shop truck anyways as it ages coolant turns into a battery and the electrolysis starts to happen and can cause pin holes in rads and even make the head gaskets for intake fail
The Cadillac Allante was the car to have if you were somebody. Over it's 7 year run only 21 thousand were built, rare to see one in a junkyard. The 93 had a 4.6 Northstar DOHC 32 valve engine with 300 horse, 300 torque from the factory. Not even the 93 SVT had those numbers. Doesn't surprise me that the guy with a blue oval tramp stamp would rather be seen driving a Crown Vic than an Allante. Maybe expand your car knowledge past the Ford and become a real car guy. When you go to a car show there are hundreds of cool cars that aren't Ferds, yet you are like a hungry fly and the Ferds are a big pile of shit.
Ive had the same issue with the 16.5 wheels. Mine are juat steel wagon wheels but they look good. But 400 a tire is about the cheapest i found online for a tsl super swamper. I might end up just buying some 16 inch wheels that are almost identical to mine at 200 a peice.
I got one I had the F253 turban wills factory option and I had 16 and a 1/2 the tires and I was looking at we're BF g's and there's another tire it says like rural mudders looked like all terrain
Your crew cab tires and wheels would be equivalent to a 32x11,50 16.5 and i say that because I had the same thing but a set of bfg mud terrain ta's on my 78 Chevy c20 custom deluxe green and white long bed work truck, and several of my friends have tried to put the same size tire on stock round eye square body c20 trucks to find out it rubbed in the front and the rear.... But what they didn't realize is that my truck had a 2 inch suspension lift truck was originally from reading Pa and the rear end was a 14 bolt but a heavily modified 81 Chevy c30 cab and chassis 14 bolt full floating 4.10 gear rear.
You can use that xj6 jag suspension under a f100! Some of them came from the factory with air ride too so that’s a cheap way to make a f100 air ride. We are fixing to jag swap a 55 f100
For those still running stock 16.5's I found Milestar Steelpro MS597 All Season LT9.50R16.5 a few years back, been really happy with them and the price is right.
I have a fleet of 94-96 f-series with the 300cid and 5-speed drive trains and All two wheel drive... I would not have an automatic or any Ford V8...! The 300's are bulletproof and get great gas mileage with the 5-speeds...! Even with a full lawn service trailer being towed we get 13-16 mpg around town...!!! I'm a Chevy guy with two street Camaros and one quarter mile Camaro, but you can't beat those mid-nineties f-series with those 300's...!!!
Fairly certain that County of San Diego Refuse Disposal ticket came in a little booklet like stamps, that how you used to get into the county dump(s). That was VERY long ago! The fees now are $77, unless they went up again.
From a member of the rust belt it is quite sickening to see the condition of vehicles in your junk yards.. Stuff is nicer than the stuff still on the road here
LKQ upull tried that scam tag shit here in Florida a while back, and people stopped spending money there. So now its back to just the normal old set price list.
19:41 that bull nose f-250 is weird its an HD 250 cuz it has the 8 lug rear but has a 302 windsor. I know you could get the 300 I6 all the way up to the 350 2wd but the 302 stopped in the light duty f250.
Should we bring back the junkyard content?
Top tier content🫡
Yes.
Yeah
Oh hell yeah
Absolutely!!
Looks like you found a new body for your Crown Vic!
Paint the steel wheels the lighter of the two greys on the truck with the factory ford center caps looks awesome on that truck.
I painted my stock steel wheels a machinery grey color on my truck when I still had the stock wheels, and it looked a lot better than that ugly argent silver color they were originally that's for sure.
Broke my heart to see that 58/59 sitting there waiting to be picked apart.
Crazy huh
I like the black steelies and the tyre size fits too. I’m not a fan of really big tyres. Fit some chrome spider caps to the steelies and call it done.
the splash rangers only came with the fiberglass stepside beds. with a 4.0 v6, a 5 spd. and 8.8 rear they were actually pretty quick. that Lexus v8 will bolt into your buddy's Cherokee XJ wagoneer if it has the AW4 auto trans, the Lexus v8s have the same trans as 4.0 auto XJ cherokees.

You’re right. I don’t even know why I said 1j. I knew that too😂 my b
The 59 Ford is a long-bed fyi. The ranchero was available with the 351c or the 351w in 1972... along with the 400.
Now you are very knowledgeable and I'm not really sure but will the rims and tires off of a 80s supper duty truck work some of those fancy crome factory looking wheels were quite nice . Any ways love the channel and all that you do keep up those American classics.

Someone should Crocodile Dundee check Meg, her voice is deeper than Qwegs.
craig you kind of missed the boat on the allante. coachwork by pininfarina and a 32v V8. really surprising to see one junked

Yes! Thanks for the junk yard tour. Always good. Although, I am depressed over the 59 F100. What a waste..breaks my heart.
I need to head out there one day and find some 67 to 72 chevy parts picked up a 72 k10
Love junkyard vids man
Black Steelies looked sweet. Yes on junkyard content.
My OBS would buck when it got hot. If you laid into the throttle it would bog down and you had to ease into the throttle to get her to rev up. It ended up being the Throttle Position Sensor so maybe it's worth checking that on your Bullnose.
Falken Wildpeak AT. Aggressive enough for offroad but very quiet.
Yes on the junkyard videos

I so need that door glass from that F100!! Never find a truck like that in the yards near me.
I had a 1990 F150 that ran great until it got warm then had fuel problems. It was the fuel pump gasket in the tank that would leak in hot conditions
love the different styles of content, any of your content is so much fun to watch
Thank you!

Try Priority tire. I saw some good options on there. the black steelies does it for me
Save it!
the only thing your missing for the whole "work truck" look is the toolbox in the bed
The shop truck, if the fuel pressure regulator doesn’t fix it, look at getting a new tfi module.
It didn’t. So that’s my next route

Wonder if you can machine the 16.5 down to a 16, if there is enough material to work with

That a good truck
Love junkyard videos.
More junkyard content would be so sick

I like the black wheels on it
And I’m usually a fan of shiny
Yes bring back the Junk Yard videos Craig
Sounds good!
Great video. Liked the trip to the junk yard. Bull nose looks good with the steelies on it. Needs a bigger tires that’s all

Are you planning on putting the wipers back on the bullnose truck?
Yes haha I was waiting to swap to a new windshield here shortly
Those black steelies with hubcaps is the way to go 100%🔥
On that 59 it looks like the radio still had the trim ring which is also a hard thing to find.
Fairly certain that County of San Diego Refuse Disposal ticket came in a little booklet like stamps, that how you used to get into the county dump(s). That was VERY long ago! The fees now are $77, unless they went up again.
Bro is so underrated
That gmc van with the decals and the turbine wheels❤❤
If you can find em, 32x11.50s would look really good on the bull nose. The 33s look good but like you mentioned, they rub.
Forward leaning A pillars are gangster!!
I run 33x12.5 17 Milestar Patagonias love them. But it is an aggressive tire
Whatever camera you used for your pov… needs to be changed lol. They fish eye dizzying effect when you turn your head is killing me 🙈
Should totally do a blown 6.9 or 7.3 idi build for the bull nose i think itd be pretty neat
Loving the bullnose content
Cadillac Allante, even I knew that! Nice know I knew more than Craig, at a brief moment. :P
My crown Vic balanced a qtr on the throttle body while running with 2 12’ subs in the trunk😂
Steels!!! Steels all day Craig!!!!! Truck looks better and will drive better.
The Cadillac allantes were my favorite Cadillacs❤
I want that exhaust set up on my 94 f150
$1,000 or trades for universal wheels or 90 Chevy trucks and or parts truck is a 292v8 4spd manual shift transmission
From a member of the rust belt it is quite sickening to see the condition of vehicles in your junk yards.. Stuff is nicer than the stuff still on the road here
Yes you should show the junk yard I have a few parts left from my bull nose that has the same color interior in it let me know if you need some parts
I also have the under hood storage box that came on the bull nose I don't need anymore
58 had the straight grill,59-60 had the dip in it.
You can get a lot of power out of especially that one I used to work for a Jag engineering shop
When you say “a lot of power” what do you think it can somewhat safely make..??
@@GRANITEMONUMENT any power is good for anyone
I actually think it looks better with the black steelies look at some 33,10.5 bfg open c, or Cooper discover sst,
Nothing like crawling through a salvage yard. Had a 57 ford. Now a 59 Apache.
That 59 is a long bed. And me owning a 60 myself, I would’ve picked that thing clean if it was around me.
Got my small block killer shirt today..stoked!
Glad you like it! Thanks again.
Interco tire corp have a 16.5 option for all their tires check them out
LKQ upull tried that scam tag shit here in Florida a while back, and people stopped spending money there. So now its back to just the normal old set price list.
Cool to see the ranchero. im a fan of them. I got a 66 myself
When i see an automatic idi diesel truck i take the vrv valve from tge injection pump. Those things are expensive and fragile plastic.
Love the content. Inspiring for what I like to do.
That glove box latch is the same on some jeeps
Man I'm currently driving my grandfather's 59 Ford Fairlane and he has one of them 59 Ford f100 with a cougar motor and some other goodies
I need that grill!! And rad support!!
❤❤ love your videos awesome content
Hello Craig, you should take a look on TC2000 cars from Argentina
that's a 2jzge vvti. it has the tiny rods only good for around 400. vs the non vvti being good for 700 and gte 1000hp
Craig: Just another day in the California junkyard.
Rust Belt car lovers: 😢
I got my donor car 86 LTD crown Vic running today going to put my 66 f100 on it!
16.5's are getting impossible to find. 4 wheel parts has a super swamper all terrain 33 12.50 R16.5 but they are over $500 a piece
Get 33in bfg mud terrains on 16in rim
Sheesh that 1J is cheaper than my PI 4.6 by an entire $350 bucks!!!
Get some headers for the bullnose
Mine has stainless shorties
Should get a moon visor for the truck
You need that 59!!
19:41 that bull nose f-250 is weird its an HD 250 cuz it has the 8 lug rear but has a 302 windsor. I know you could get the 300 I6 all the way up to the 350 2wd but the 302 stopped in the light duty f250.
Love the junk yard
Man it’s a shame that fridge is gonna get crushed. Looked like it wasn’t in rough shape.
I could’ve used a few things off it, too bad I’m in Texas.
My LKQ stops at 1995..maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot
I wanted a Splash as well. If I can find one reasonable, I will swap it.
Black steelie everything
