IDK they made it to the tire shop cant tell build qulity based on that maybe it went another ten feet and died completely well never know becuase the show gets cut off what a shame
Love the old orange ford truck it runs smooth as butter keep up the good work at least it a real truck made from metal and not from plastic and aluminum also love the body style thanks for bringing old cars and trucks back to life they deserve to live again
I am a swede with 35 years experience from american cars, love all your programs, i can relate to all , we have alot of amercan cars from 30 and up, we have access to parts or hand made.
@@MindofMatter if you find a mercury capri also known as a mk1 ford capri here in europe please let me know... Its not the fox body based mercury capri since that's what most Americans are familiar with. Its the mk1 european version. Hate those "barn find, parked 30 years, will it run?" channels, for precisely that reason. They do more damage trying to hotwire the car than all the years parked ever did...
Ha!... That was one of my favorite Hotwheels too and I actually rediscovered mine a couple months ago! I have to give my mom credit for so nicely packing up my toys and storing em for me for the past twenty-five ish years.
Man, it’s crazy how these old rides bring back so many memories! 🚗💨 I can totally see that '70s vibe in the truck. Makes me wanna dig through my old toys too! Keep the classics alive! 🙌🎉
My dad used to have a '56 Ford pickup in the early '80s. He did a frame-off restoration. It had a 390 Ford V8 with high-domed pistons, a C6 transmission, and no power steering. I don't know how much power it made, but it was enough to break the rear leafsprings.
Long ago, I had a 54 Ford with the 239 OHV engine, the first Y block. It clearly had a long history of lack of oil to the top end cylinder heads. Glad you got it running.
Wow! Brings back memories of my 54 I had. Was my parents, handed down to me after they passed. Had big hopes for it, it sat for 20 years outside, was in decent shape, except for the bed wood! Lost it in a wild fire! Was torn up to see what was left of it!
Ford ignition switch has 2 hot leads to the coil. One while key is in cranking position and one for run position. They often burn out the run side. I bypassed mine by tying the two hot wires coming out of the ignition switch together.
Back in the day, my dad told me you could fill a crankcase with kerosene and run the engine to break loose sludge and muck. Never had the ba-s to try it.
Of course I love it. My very first auto purchase was a red 56 Ford truck, 272 and gl 4speed. I gave all of $300 for it running and driving with the title!
I had my period correct Jackman spoke wheels on my dune buddy blasted and powder coated. Yes, this 1956 Ford pickup truck is the number one hot rod pickup in America.
There's so many variables to prob say that couldve burnt down down could of been rebuilt don't change the fact it waa or wasn't there for the yrs they said idk my two sense lol
🏆That's hilarious my brother was born in 56 he had a "56" when he was young👀 I got him the same Hot wheel the same one you got light 40 years ago , I told him one day I'm going to get him that truck same orange 😅my God man that's awesome ✌️
How do you think Freiburger and Finnegan did on this Ford F-100?

You should try running this show on TH-cam fulltime.
This needs to be the ford muscle truck, but with a turbo LS engine.
IDK they made it to the tire shop cant tell build qulity based on that maybe it went another ten feet and died completely well never know becuase the show gets cut off what a shame
We need the return of roadkill show new episodes back here in TH-cam
well they mostly have their own youtube channels now for some projects
emilianocruz IMO if the "geniuses" at motor trend have anything to say about it . Never.
...in the meantime ...Vice Grip Garage and Cold War Motors...
@@happyjohn8256 I would rather watch paint dry than watch vgg.
It’s been long enough
Dave wearing shoes is just weird
i can hear him saying that
He went corporate.
And long pants
What no camo pants lol love these guy's
Can't freeze those tootsies.
BRING THE SHOW BACK TO TH-cam!!!!
As much as I agree I'm glad it's not on TH-cam it would've died a long time ago
BEST THING ON TV, or any where else! I mean… do we really need “the masked singer, “nude and scared” or “name that Shazam”? C’mon!
THIS. It lost alot of viewers going to a subscription platform.
Sadly for now Road Kill is gone according to Frieburger
I just wish they would show full episodes !

My favourite road kill episodes are when Mike and Dave do them.
I'm so jealous. That's the exact truck I have tattooed to my arm. Color and everything. Parked in the year I was born.
Hopefully you’ll get a chance to buy it
Truly a classic!
I miss the old longer videos
Smothering an oil fire with a north face jacket 🤦♂️🤦♂️. Haha love you guys
Classic Roadkill am I right
Expense it to the magazine 😅
I so much like to hear you to do This stuff together. And This truck. If i could i would bye it
I had that orange F100 Hot Wheels pickup, totally forgot about it until David showed it!
Same
Dont forget the blue variant..
I got both variants of that old hot wheels truck orange and blue
Glad to finally see a new episode of ROADKILL
4 months or more but worth the wait
Glad we could help!
@@MotorTrendWatch just hate that Motortrend went to Discovery plus
Great video. I'm so glad you changed the oil before starting it. I watch a lot barn find channels they don't change the oil before starting it..

I can never get tired of these guys! LOVE ME SOME ROADKILL!!
I just don’t understand how someone can own a vehicle as cool as this and let it sit still for over forty years without driving it.
CONGRADULATIONS DAVID AND MIKE!!!! THE PERFECT DAILY DRIVER!!!!
The best channel to ever come back!
We appreciate that!
Started my military career in salt lake, and I was raised in rapid city. Super cool to see multiple places that are important to me be mentioned guys!
When Dave pulled out the hot wheels is really just proved the point that we are all just big kids still our toys just got a lot cooler haha

I’m not going to lie really saddens me I’ve watched you guys since the first episode of roadkill and it just sucks seeing my idols getting older.
MANY THANKS, AUTOZONE!
I love the look of the bias ply tires. Miss those old m or n50s. Great work guys!
I love to see people use those freebie harbor freight multimeters! No need to get fancy on these old masterpieces! 😊😊
That is my dream truck, great find!
Dang, ends right when it’s getting good!
THANK YOU AUTOZONE!!!!
nice... looking forward to see more of this trip.. really miss the roadkill show
TOTALLY AWSOME VIDEO DAVID!!!! I LOVE EVERYTHING!!!!

I LOVE THE 56 F100 AS WELL. I SAW IN TRUCKIN MAGAZINE. SOMEBODY DROPPED A 409 CHEVY IN A 56 FORD F100. IT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BUILDS.
No! Save that 409 for a '56 Chevy pickup.
Nice, this was my poster truck as a kid. It was the only vehicle I ever really wanted, and still my favorite vehicle ever
The hot wheels just took me back in time, thank you
You're welcome!
At least he kept it a long time and didn't sell it to a junkyard.
Love some F- 100 stuff ❤
It's a classic for a reason!
Wow brings back memories my 2end olds brother had a 56 ford cruising in that truck was so kool , nice
I'm so jealous of these guys we don't have as many older cars like this in my country
holy cow david in something other than flip flops is refreshing.
He's trying something new
I wish you guys would come back roadkill ❤
Long ago, I had a 54 Ford with the 239 OHV engine, the first Y block. It clearly had a long history of lack of oil to the top end cylinder heads. Glad you got it running.
I like watching all the old stuff, but seeing new or never seen episodes on TH-cam is awesome👌🏼
At least he didn't sell it to a junkyard and maintained it for a long time.
I was raised in Rapid City and began my military career in Salt Lake. It's awesome to see so many places that I care about listed, guys!
I agree, I usually don't like orange but I like it on that, much better than the baby blue
That truck needs to be Chrome Yellow like God intended.
This makes me happy to watch I'm going to get done playing GTA online and then grab a bowl of cereal and watch this what a good time it'll be
Somehow it’s not surprising that Dave would have the Hot Wheels that matches. I love your style Freiburger! 👍
Great episode, love this show!
We appreciate that Steve!
A MUST WATCH!!!!
WE AGREE
wow what a beautiful simple old school truck I'd love something like this
Had that Hot Wheels!
The baseball bat hood holder makes this video. Well done as usual lads
Wow memories... I had a 56 M100 in high school! So many good times.
Yall are the new y block guys!
Gee, I wonder if Autozone sponsored this video.
That is a good thing. It is not aggressive to us and if they want more visibility, they may push to have the episodes back on TH-cam...
I just bought an 83 f100 3 on the tree straight 6 i love it, bodywork and paint is almost done
My favorite trucks, I'll never be able to afford one but that one is nice 😊
Thats the most beautiful ford pickup up and most classic
Would love more junkyard and abandoned car rescues.
Wow, that reminds me of things. My two-year-old nephew was cruising in a 1956 Ford, which was a really cool truck.

I LOVE PAT GANAHALS 56 F100. IT WAS OLD SCHOOL ALL THE WAY!!!!
That's a sweet truck.
I have a California customs hot wheels version of it with the genuine rubber tires. Nice buy. 👍🏼
Sounds like a sweet ride
THANK YOU, DURALAST!!!!
I LOVE that you guys seems to be back at youtube (at least some times)
That rear tailgate on the outside is PLUSH !
It’s appreciated by those who have to push it when it breaks down jk 😅
Man I miss that view of the mountains. Utah was the prettiest state I lived in.
❤ My favorite styles of a truck
The real rescue is when Roadkill sells a car.
Back in the day, my dad told me you could fill a crankcase with kerosene and run the engine to break loose sludge and muck. Never had the ba-s to try it.
Yup works we did that on Chevy c30. Swuarebody oil junked up soaked over nite. Drained oil change filters ran like top
Marvel Mystery oil saved my 79 Camaro from a clogged up oil pump. I changed the oil right after, and 40 pounds of pressure.
woah new episodes on youtube...YES!!!!
Who taught Finnegan how to use that brake tool.
Finnegan
BROOOOOOO.... 😂😂😂😂 I came straight to the comments to say this.
My first vehicle. Miss it alot
That truck in no way had sat THERE since 1982.
Of course I love it. My very first auto purchase was a red 56 Ford truck, 272 and gl 4speed. I gave all of $300 for it running and driving with the title!
I was hoping he would reference the Hot Wheels, as I have the exact same one. They also come in a lime green color. Way cool.
The black steel wheels look much better on that truck just my opinion. Congratulations on getting it running 👍
I had my period correct Jackman spoke wheels on my dune buddy blasted and powder coated.
Yes, this 1956 Ford pickup truck is the number one hot rod pickup in America.
I always called it the WHY block because the intake holes are on top of one another instead of side by side. Creating an inherent flow rate issue.
Awesome...let's see more!
61 Chevy step side custom cab is my favorite old truck
The dynamic duo
Bro using a brand new name brand jacket to put out an engine fire lol
You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes
Beautiful
Those homes don't even look 40 years old. I don't think that truck's been there 40 years

the script is as cool as the truck
he did say "roughly 1982 or something like that" probably 1992 or 2002, definitely not 1982.
It called upkeep and remodeling...
BTW, what makes a home "look" 40 years old??
Troll better, try hard....
I live in Utah. My 440 yr home looks like that. 1982 wasn't that long ago
That was fun!
Super great color.
1st gear, is for field work, when picking up hay bales, towing wagons
Keep them on the road with as little work as you can 🍻
Beautiful mountains :)
Buen trabajo 👍
My favorite part is the old brand new orange paint job
🏆That's hilarious my brother was born in 56 he had a "56" when he was young👀 I got him the same Hot wheel the same one you got light 40 years ago , I told him one day I'm going to get him that truck same orange 😅my God man that's awesome ✌️
