The only difference between the old and new mags is a small notch in the magazine body so it works with the AR style mag release. Other than that they’re exactly the same. You can modify your old magazines to work with the new scorpions very easily.
Bump firing is how you get an out of battery discharge. To comply with ATF rules CZ removed a feature that prevented OOB detonations. Dont bump fire it if you want to keep it one piece.
That’s the best 9MM carbine on the market in my opinion. I bought mine because it’s lite and my wife can handle it like a Navy SEAL due to the minimum recoil. Many believe that shotguns are best for home protection in case of an invasion. False! I believe the CZ scorpion is the ultimate interior home protection firearm.
I fully agree! My wife is the same way. Give her a Scorpion or something similar and she turns in to John Wick. Haven’t had a chance to shoot the 3 plus yet, but may soon. Still hate that they stopped making the model that I’ve got.
A stribog has a better track record than the CZ scorpion. The only good thing about the CZ scorpion was the magazine!!everything else about the CZ scorpion had to many problems. The only bad thing about the stribog was the magazine. The first few models of the stribog magazine was terrible. But now stribog has fixed the magazine problem and a few other minor complaints. Now the stribog has surpass the CZ scorpion in all different levels.
