    Upon recommendation of a family member I ordered 914 and fast wax. Immediately upon receipt I tried in garage on my Tesla. The ease of use and results were amazing I wish I had found it sooner. No more automatic machine washes. Thanks for a great product!!

    For my bottle, 3 capfuls is an oz, not 2 capfuls. Good stuff this Mckees. It does clean a bit better than ONR, i find i dont have to go over the same sections usually.

    Do you dump the water when you are done or do you hang on to it for a week or two (for those that tend to wash weekly and have the time)? I would wash our 2 cars then dump it when done. I wash once a month or once every 2 months.

  • @andrewserkaian9669

    I presoak the whole car with N914 at the coin wash and then pressure wash rinse (I don’t have access to a hose as I’m away from college), then I go into the actual rinseless washing. I am concerned if the rinsing I did will dilute the N914 down when I’m washing since there’s already water on the panel. What dilutions do you recommend? Any benefit to washing at 1:128 vs 1:256 or presoaking at different solutions to have more breakdown power?

    • @Beliefacy
      @Beliefacy 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly on softer older clear coats I highly recommend staying at 1:16 - the condition of the paint definitely matters and I've experimented heavily on my own vehicle before doing customer's cars. I presoak at 1:16 and 2 gallons 1:256 this works for me just fine.

      @@Beliefacy what happen if have strong ratio?

    • @Beliefacy
      @Beliefacy 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@richardfox3924 less dilution (stronger ratio)means there's more lubrication. You have to use more product, but it does help. I don't encourage this method of washing any more on my own car. I learned to use DI water to pre rinse the car and then I don't even have to dry it. Touch less washing is the very best way to wash.

    • @opmike343
      @opmike343 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think pre-soaking with N914 is kind of a waste of time if you're using a pressure washer. It's not a strong enough surfactant/degreaser etc. to make any meaningful difference over just pressure washing with water. The pressure/volume of water will remove a lot of contaminants, and those that are left behind will require physical "wiping" regardless of whether there was N914 used or not in the first step.

    • @Beliefacy
      @Beliefacy 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@opmike343 is that not obvious? Pre-rinse is for the actual rinseless wash method. What you're talking about is wash with pressure washer and use it as a detail spray or drying aid...

  • @stephen1503

    The fast wax acting solely as a drying aid, does it add any form of protection this way? Even a weak amount?
    Just got a bottle of ONR but considering adding N-914 to my weekend warrior kit as well.
    Or, could I simply use the N914 at a paint prep dilution and then when using the wax then to help dry would maybe add a bit of wax protection? Thanks! (Sorry new to detailing still 🤗)

    • @paulgyro
      @paulgyro 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It certainly does add protection but in a more diluted form.

    • @opmike343
      @opmike343 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In my experience, most "drying aids" are functionally similar to spray waxes/spray sealants with the appropriate chemistry/dilution to avoid streaking since you won't be doing a lot of buffing typically when drying.

I've worked as a detailer for many years,and thinking a DIRTY car can look "Showroom" quality,by simply spritzing on some "magic" wonder-spray,and taking a second to wipe it off,then yes,I would say your selling snake-oil! Because cleaning a vehicle,takes time,patience,and most of all......quality-care of what your doing! THAT,can't be bought in a bottle my friend! Honestly, you shouldn't use a rinseless/waterless wash on a very dirty vehicle as you'll only swirl and scratch the paint. This should be used if you plan on doing maybe 2 washes a week or in between maintenance washes. I use this in that way and find it to work, but if my car gets really dirty or I'm lazy and don't wash it for a week or 2 I go back to a normal hand wash (pressure rinse > snow foam > rinse > wash with mitt > dry > apply spray wax/detailer). MAYBE you could get away with rinsing the car to get the majority of dirt off and then do a waterless wash, but I wouldn't do it on my cars.
