      Hey Armour 👋. The rumour have spread across the pond here to the UK. All very positive of course!🎉 I know you've sold out over there, I'm wondering if you will be bringing Hero over here? I believe In2detailing are your UK stockists? Or is there somewhere else that is stocking it currently? I'd love to buy a bottle to try- take my money 💰

    What up Mike. I've been watching binging your videos and wanted to ask how you would compare the older Mckee sio02 rinseless with the N914 V2. Thanks.

    • @MikeGDetailing

      N914 will clean better between the two. If you are looking for a straight cleaner then N914 would be the choice. If you are looking for protection than their SiO2 would be the choice. The lubricity is about the same but the SiO2 will feel slightly slicker during wipe off due to the protection in it.

      64:1 is really high for a drying aid. Use it at the 256:1 as your rinseless and as a drying aid. 64:1 should be fit for clay lube and or a quick detailer. I use absolute every day at these ratios

    Really good review Mike, youve cleared up a lot for me with this video. A couple of things I'd like to mention.
    Armour could do with a bigger bottle to match the 'sort of' industry standard for this rinseless wash (more like the sizes we're used to).
    I they're sold out on their website meaning in the UK it'll probably be ages until we get our hands on to try it out.
    Whats it like compared to Absolute? Im using Absolute ATM and enjoy the user experience with it. Absolute does leave behind a little residue, but its easy to wipe off.
    The 350GSM Eagle edgless is a great towel but it does lint quite a bit. It has me second guessing if I've marred my paintwork now and then. I prefer The Pearl towel as this holds its fibres more and seems great for rinseless washing.
    I use deionised water with rinseless washing as it cleans better with less marks.
    I would be cool to see a comparison test between Absolute and Hero. 👍

    • @MikeGDetailing

      ADS stated on the livestream that they will be staying with 16 oz bottles and gallons. Similar to DIY Detail. Absolute is a good rinseless wash. Sure it has its quirks with it being clumpy but for the most part it is a good rinseless wash. Hero cleans better. I will add this comparison video into the mix.

  • @coreyh4947

    Really nice comparison, but the elephant in the room is value for money. Hero is $17.99 for 16oz. Rrw is $20 for a liter and Feynlab is $22 for a liter. I bought Hero on release today mainly to support the brand. It's going to have to blow me away because Feynlab v3 is awesome. You can push the dilution to 1:384 and lose nothing in terms of effectiveness.

    • @MikeGDetailing

      If Fenylab V3 ever shows up I will check it out. I ordered it on April 1st and it was sent to Atlanta, georgia instead of California. I did ask them for refund so not sure what they are doing as I have not even seen that.

    • @coreyh4947

      @@MikeGDetailing That sucks and it's the kind of communication and service that drives customers away. I posted elsewhere, but I'm not sure the v3 isn't just with v1 with some added slickness. I used a lot of v1 and it smells exactly the same and I had to up the dilution to 1:384 just like I did with v1. It doesn't appear to clean wheels and tires as well, but not far off.

  • @eliashdez

    My huge red flag with ADS hero is that contains SiO2, and if you mist this product on a sprayer, you might get something of those SiO2 particles in your lungs eventually, which recently was discovered that causes huge health problems.

    • @MikeGDetailing

      It is pretty durable. The fact that it will leave ceramic spots that are hard to remove if left unattended or working larger than one panel at a time. This has been the number one complaint I get about the product.

  • @Standard_MT

    N914 V1 was trash as a panel prep… also, if you like keeping diluted solution in spray bottles like I do, even diluted with distilled water, N914’s shelf life is only a few weeks long… I DM’d ADS and they confirmed a shelf life of over a year with HERO if you use distilled water.
