    His voice was so evenly balanced and rigid from bottom to top, he had a flawless technique and a beautiful voice

    He has an amazing flawless singing appoggio technique. Very free and not a constricted sound.

    in this rendition reminds me of Rockwell Blake, for the way of colouring some parts. but definitely a very good interpretation by the great Hadley!

    Bravo maravilloso!!!, he is singing at the open? (I can tell due to the air in his coat and the hat on the conductor...). He was really one of the best of the best!!!. His brigth yet bodied voice, was all over him, not specially in one single point, but in all his resounding cavities...BRAVO!!!!(a master class onstage...sorrely miss!!!)

      Which cavities do you mean? Hadley did not sing in the mask, hence did not pursue the meaningless wish to 'fill cavities with sound'. Cavities other than the mouth one are meant for thermoregulation, mucus and such physiological stuff. You sing with the throat and the mouth.

      @ you are a professor? One must have open nasopharyngeal space, cavity, nothing more. And to support it with fiato

    My most favourite tenor... too bad he didn’t make a cd of famous tenor arias

      @fontevrault4690 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      He did make a cd of Bel Canto arias with Richard Bonynge that is still available on Amazon.

    I’m afraid I agree with the comment about forcing. Not as much as most leading tenors, but unusual for him. And not so much that this is not unlistenable.

    He’s forcing. Couldn’t get hired in his proper Fach.

      He was doing some off things technique wise here, but this was his repertoire.
