I have used every lian li fan, aio, and strimer product since they first started making them. They have never gone flawless. From software glitches, updates not working, firmware not wanting to install, controller not working with the rgb, aio pumps failing. You would think I would have learned my lesson but I love the way they look. I just recently got the performance AIO only to have the pump to glitch and not start up on boot up, causing my system to overheat. I am currently waiting on Lian Li to send a replacement. My advice..buyer beware.

I found out that in my case, AIO as an intake makes the best temps overall, both for CPU and GPU as well in mind. You will need bottom intake and top exhaust too 👍

I just installed mine today, stock thermal paste from companies that make AIOs are usually pretty good but if you have something like thermal grizzly lying around chances are itll be slightly better or at least give you peace of mind like me. To remove the stock paste i used 2 part cleaner and primer from arcticlean, hope this helps.
I'm debating on this with the sl inf fans, or the kraken elite and swapping the stock fans for infinity fans for a 7800x3d/4090 build but cant decide tbh.

Asus and Lian Li are basically the same products, both has the Asetek Gen8 pump and same rad, so no differences apart from the pump design... EK is also ok, so I guess go with the cheapest of the bunch or whichever looks the best to you 😀

i think the ek one is not asetek also i would probably add the thermal grizzly AM5 High Performance Heatspreader, will my temps be under 80c all the time its a 7800x3d the case is a fractal pop air xl i wil add 1 x 140mm lian li uni sl inf fan on the back and 2 of those on the top and the radiator on the front, i might use liquid metal also and so is the EK EK-Nucleus AIO CR360 Lux D-RGB one or the Asus ROG Ryujin III and Lian Li Galahad II LCD SL-INF better @@LevelUPGamingTech
Yup they do, slight better airflow, they are maybe around 1 degree better, other than that they work really quiet while doing so, main reason why I use them, quieter and have more airflow 👍👍
Download latest 2.0 version, available on the website, it's a separate L-Connect 3 which may or may not yet work with other products such as AL fans ad similar, for now it is advised to use 1.6.30 for everything else, and use latest only for GA II LCD

You can use your old fans, controller for SL INF fans is the same one as you have and it's completely separated from the AIO pump itself, you see that I use the AL v2 fans with their own controller, so there's the best answer 😀

If you already own LT720, keep it still, yes the LianLi is better, but not that much, the only difference I see where it is an upgrade is the LCD screen compared to the LT720. Still great amount of respect for LT720 👍
You did something wrong since Lian Li has thicker radiator than others and it does cool i9 extra good, so there is something on your end that need attention and see what is causing throttling... With Intel you should also consider negative voltage offset so you can undervolt it a bit, will give you literally 15-20 degrees less temps with same if not better performance 👍

I thınk there's definitely somethıng wrong wıth that Lıan Lı I got. need to check maybe they forgot to add coolant ın ıt from factory....I have replaced thermal paste and checked pump twıce! But then why temperature drops ınstantly to 37 on ıdle ıf there ıs no coolant so there for I saıd - This particular AIO doesn't work well with Core I9 14900K!

Block gets up to 37deg max after 10mins of testing, where cpu temp 100 almost instanly. Besides, block supports made out off very thin and there for too flexible metal plates Undervoltage did not help as well, just reduced perfomance in cinebench from 38k to 36k. Anyways very dissapointed with Lian Li, should have purchased Corsair...

I bought this AIO and I have 6 x more SL120 reverse fans in my case, the SL120 is single pack that does not come with the controller. Can I connect them to the controller of this AIO to use the lian li software to control them?
@@Voltomessthis has more to do with how the AIO is mounted. If it’s top mounted it shouldn’t be noisy. If it’s bottom or side mounted you might get pump wine or gurgling noises due to the air contained within the system and how it travels up.

You need latest LConnect 3 and also make sure you connected the USB cable from the pump to your motherboard

Did you add any paste. The block doesn’t cover the entire cpu on the 14990k. I added extra
