Does the screen save onboard memory? This means without runing the app next time
once you set your options, you can auto play a video when it has power, but to get real time stats their software has to auto launch. So far for me it works like a charm, I do both Aida64 and the Turing Screens each have their unique benifits. @@grumpybryno3479

I just installed mine, easiest install. And it's pretty simple to add FPS and monitor literally everything without running multiple displays. I'm using a Odyssey G9, and adding a second display was pretty much out of the question without taking up my desk space, by mounting one underneath. Which I did with a 12" portable monitor and AIDA64, but this little display solved both problems. Got rid of the portable monitor, and slapped this underneath my monitor and only took about 5" of desk space 👍🏼

@@AsuraTraitorr I think my comment was deleted because it included a link to Amazon. But I used a monitor phone mount, they come with a magnetic adhesive to just attach it to the mount. I would just look up monitor phone mount and a few should pop up

I got one of these a few months ago and love it! once i figured out the theme editor i was able to customize the theme to match my pc and add a FPS readout to the theme also. I did have one minor issue when i upgraded my gpu. for some reason after the new gpu went in it no longer registered the GPU board power. I downloaded a new version of the software and its as good as new! I was a little nervous about the software but no viruses so far lol. If your looking for a easy system monitor I think it works great.

Just a question. Ive got 2 monitors plus i want to add another 3 very small LCD to my system. One if the LCD screen for my y60 case and i want to add one into my case and one in front of me. Is that possible? Im going to be running the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AERO OC 24GB Video Card. Would that be able to handle it.
Tell me, which version of the program has ready-made themes with FPS? I downloaded the latest version 2.4 from their developer site and there is not a single theme with FPS there

What's the best way to hide the cable?
I think I ended up getting sort of an offbrand version. Mine can't tell that I'm running an RTX 4070, and I7 14th gen. And doesn't show brand icons properly. Even though It's trying to display those, and got I5 11th gen and RTX 3080 instead of what I actually have.

HI, thank you for your video. I am installing this screen right now and not working. I noticed mine did not come with MicroSD. Does it work without MicroSD? My screen even did not turn on just a once yet.
It will work without the MicroSD card, I would recommend checking all connections to make sure they are all tight and secured.
I just plugged everything in with the 4 pin but there is no connection to the device 😢

As far as I know, it only works with its own software. Never tried testing any third party software. I am only showcasing the ease of use of this monitor for beginners!

Yes the software will be running in the background. The software is in Chinese and I can understand everything it’s saying. Been using it for a year and never had any issues with it.
@@archetype_origins thank you. I got it going. Made my own theme. Do you know if you can change the stock booting wallpaper? I can set my own. But at first boot, it shows a water coolered pastel wallpaper before my theme takes over.
I have never even think about setting up the booting wallpaper, maybe you can give it a try and let me know how it goes
Question: since this monitor runs off of the onboard USB connection, when you turn off the PC, does the monitor also turn off right away? Does it go to sleep at all like a normal desktop monitor?
Mine stays on even if my monitor is in sleeping mode. It does not bother me tho.
Mine connected via usb and turn off and on with the pc being turned off and back on

Does this count as an additional monitor within windows? For instance could I possibly not use the Turzx app and move Spotify over to it, or extend my Windows wallpaper?

I was hoping to avoid the HDMI cable option and just rely on the USB, but I've been looking up about it and it turns out that you need very specific USB ports for that to even be an option.
I have a Goku pc theme. Is it possible to just add like a looping gif of him powering up or something? I don't have an open HDMI slot on my GPU so I kind of shied away from the ones that act as another monitor for putting something like wallpaper engine.
I can use it as a second screen, or with Wallpaper Engine or AIDA64?
Unfortunately, you can't with the WOWNOVA user friendly LCD screen. I would recommend getting the Ingcool 7" LCD screen if you plan to use wallpaper engine or AIDA 64 on it.

does the theme editor allow for changing of images so that it just displays a picture instead of all the stats?
I believe so
i got it, the software i downloaded seems different but the themes are the same. can't display picture alone, rather the picture you select will be the background for the theme. works pretty well too!
It seems the one I ordered doesn't have the internal USB cable, only a regular one.

I'm not very techy..My pc has been built for me so I'm not sure whats is pluged in..but my two USB ports on motherboard already connected to something..so is there no alternative slot? :T
Use the included usb C cable
If u accidently disconect the device from the cable , and reconnect it will it have onboard memory and remember your display u set on it without having to remap it on the app.wch is a issue i have with the 3.5 inch with its software

We have had it running on Ben's PC for over one year and have not had any issues or noticed anything "unsafe"
The hardware looks fine but I'm concerned about the software too.
The brand is pretty much an unknown company. I'd rather not take that risk.
Too bad the better known companies in PC component market are not making this yet.

It does the same thing, if you don’t have any more internal usb2.0 slots available. You can connect it externally to you motherboard

Oh hell no, don't download their software. If you're going to do this, you want to do it with a raspberry pi display and Aida64 as a display for windows. Don't use this sketchy software from China.
