I am turning 38 this year and my husband is also a nurse, I am in San Diego, and I just literally left my 15 year copywriting career yesterday to go all in on video. The difference between you and me is that I’ve been holding onto this dream for 20 years and I’m just starting, where you already have so many great videos under your belt. I wanted to start video in high school, because I wasn’t seeing faces that look like ours on screens. Now, I am so grateful to have found you! Mikee, loving the video per usual! I noticed you are filming with the “Insta360 Ace Pro” instead of the “DJI 3” do you prefer the quality of the Insta360? I’ve actually been debating between these two.
Hey! So I think because the ace pro is small it’s my go to for quick shots when I don’t wanna take my big camera. The DJI still can somewhat feel like a setup vs a tiny action cam (even though it’s still insanely small compared to my vlog camera). But if I had to chose one as my main cam, I’d go with the pocket 3 for sure. Quality is better and more versatile with the mic and gimbal.

Honestly, you were one of the first people who influenced me to look into the DJI 3, due to the quality & tracking feature! Question, would you be able to take out the DJI 3 on a trip to the store like you did? Are you able to set it up in your car and when you’re out, the way you are doing with the Insta 360? Or does only the Insta do that since it has an attachment? Thanks for your input! I am looking to record more authentic footage on the go.
Hi Mikee, quick question about flying your drone. Do you need to ask permission to fly your drone? Or can you just fly it since it is under the weight limit? Love your contents by the way. 😊
Hey Garcia Fam (excited to check out your vids!). As for my drone, I have the dji mini 4 pro which is just under the limit for being able to use for recreational use. It's also set a a max height as to not interferece with any air traffic. I have it registered though I don't need to. With that said, I've been thinking about getting my drone pilot license just to be safe.
