I loved playing, re-playing and re- replaying these games... Idle chatting always surprised me with how much unheard stuff you'd get ever once in a while, depending on how much, how fast and/or how straightforward you came through them groups of 2-up-to-10 grunts, in each of the three Arkham games. That's a thing in all the Arkham games. Batman defeats some of the worlds most dangerous criminals and assassins, tears through legions of thugs and yet every time some bad guys encounter him, they immediately attack him and threaten him like they are gonna win. Even after they witness him beating dozens of their friends, the thought never occurs to them to run away or surrender.
As you get older I think you'll find that most people don't really change all that much as they age. Some do, and in a huge way for good or ill, but most don't. They were probably like that when they were young. He thinks he's tough until somebody who actually is shows up. Who knows? In his own weight class he might very well be a tough guy to beat in a fight. It's just that batman is much tougher, much smarter, and much more skilled.

How did you do that? Did you finish all the Challenges on 3 stars? I actually finished the game yesterday and did 120% Riddler was the the most annoying one because I had to find all his question marks but I did it.

To reach 240%, complete main story and all side missions twice, including Infamy DLC side missions (once in New Game mode, then again in New Game Plus,) and get all 243 riddler trophies (trophies progress is shared between games in a single save file so you only need to get them once.) The challenges don't contribute to your completion percentage. Your reward is a golden bat emblem version on your batsuit. Unless you really like the side missions or any of the featured characters, (Ra's al Ghul. Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, Mr. Freeze) then it's may not worth it. Check them out before you buy.
It's just amazing when you think about all the time and effort that had to go into all these different encounters and various conversations. Must have taken them months to get through it all.
I don't remember this one, but I did kind of feel sorry for the guy that was all by himself surrounded by a few turrets, just talking to himself out of boredom.
Just because of that I gave them a both a triple cape stun and then a ground takedown to minimize injuries inflicted on them. Those two were hilarious and I hope to see them again sometime.
The reason all this Lines are so cool and making you want to forgive them, its cause they are incredibly Human. They are not talking about how evil they are, they are just having a human conversation, and when they stare at Batman, they know their place they keep acting like humans. The game is humanizing the goons, so you feel like: "I cant really beat them up after that?"
Would be funny if there's a game where you play as a villain or thug, Alien Isolation style. Your main objective is to escape the Batman. Batman may spawn randomly throughout the game and you have to hide or escape lest you want a beat down.
Would've been awesome if you could just stand there and eventually the goon just opens the door and surrenders, like that one goon in the animated series who opened the door to a bedroom, saw batman, and then closed the door and pretended he saw nothing.
I absolutely adore the dialogue in this game. So much funny stuff, especially from just the guys walking around on the ground. Getting serious Red V Blue vibes here.

I once found these 3 guards stuck in a room behind a fence with the top of it guarded by a turret and couldn't figure out how to get in there so I just kept flying remote control batarangs over the fence and into thier groins for like 5 minutes and one of them actually started to scream at me to stop.
