- I think it's safe to say I'm the first one to make a video on this exhaust set up (being first doesn't matter anyways).
My only complaints:
- There is a buzziness sound from 3k - 4k rpm under heavy load. (4:46) represents that the best.
- There is a rasp/buzziness sound when downshifting at a high rpm @ (6:29)
^Both of these complaints happened after the exhaust broke in^
- The exhaust sits a bit lower than the OEM exhaust and one of the flanges is a bit more prone to scrapping if you're lowered.
No issues with the installation.
All in all, I give the exhaust set up a 7/10
Hope this video helps you decide on the getting this exhaust set up or not.
Fire vid bro need more cu2 videos not a lot of people on here with videos like these about cu2s 🔥
For sure bro, I always got my cu2 people
I got a 2013 Sportwagen, and I am so glad the exhausts fit the same so I can get proper sound clips lol. Thanks for this. I was looking into getting this setup.
Glad I was able to help
They bolt right on but the tips come up short and burn the bumper. Ask How I know 😂. Wagon bumper is just over an inch longer than the sedan.
Nice video. I'm being jerked around with my Tsudo order (being told August now...) so I may cancel it and order this Yonaka. Undecided currently.
If you think the Tsudo sounds better, I'd wait
Sounds great bro nice video
Appreciate it
That buzziness can go away if you cut the yonaka rear mufflers and do a muffler delete.
May experiment with that
Read the description if you want to know my final thoughts. 🛌
How much better is your 0-60 after the headers and tune? Finally got my Yonaka and love the sound but the car is still slow af lol
I couldn't tell you. I've never actually timed a 0-60. Just know that you can hang with the 9th gen Si now.
Any improvement on performance with the Yonaka?
With the car not tuned, not really. The car is tuned now, and it's a night and day difference.
Hell yeah nice! I’ve been riding for 3 years with a res delete because that’s how I bought my 2013, so hopefully there’s more of a difference from that than from stock
im looking to getting this exhaust but that buzz kinda messes with me
@@asstronnn I installed a vibrant resonator after I made this video and it fixed 90% of the buzzyness/rasp. Cost me an extra $300 bucks to get it installed though 😕. Will have to a make a video on that soon.
@@_kanes what resonator did you buy?
@@asstronnn vibrant
im curious to hear what skunk 2 dp and yonaka cat back sounds like on these cars. i have rv6 dp thats straight piped and the rasp is killing me.
nice to hear this combo on the car
I would think the skunk2 would make it sound more rowdy. Doubt someone will make a video on that anytime soon though.
Lots of people have reported the skunk2 downpipe cracking so I would avoid it
@@SBBUK I’ve had my skunk 2 downpipe on my 09 accord for the past two years no problem and I live in ny . Holds up fine . Just picked up a 09 Tsx 6 speed thinking about grabbing the Yonaka catback and pairing it with the skunk 2 alpha downpipe I have
Run a "branch" resonator after the downpipe it helps with cabin drone and rasp. Synapse engineering makes a good one.
