Owned both 10 and 11 definitely tighter steering for the 10 and more road noise for the 11 but 11 gets better gas mileage I miss my 10
This is such a Canadian video hahaha
No offense but a lot of basic info that is in the owners manual. The hood prop rod thing has been common on Hondas since forever. My wife’s 2004 Honda pilot has the same thing. I have a 2012 tsx with 120k miles and I can’t wait to get rid of it. Yeah it looks nice and the interior is nice but has a ton of issues. The timing chain guides are worn. the vtc actuator is going out. tons of loose trim due to cheap molding clips. The brakes are weak. The suspension control module is flakey causing me to loose some braking while going over bumps. I have enjoyed my previous Hondas for daily drivers, but can’t wait to flip this car and get in a Lexus.
Lets get out there together next summer 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻. Havent been to shannonville yet
@@mbatts6 For sure man. Tired of going to these events solo.
Would you recommend a 2010 TSX automatic four-cylinder?

I just bought a 6spd 2009 Acura Tsx, any ideas of mods i could do that wouldnt be too much for the car as i use it as my daily, but want some more hp out of it, Thanks and great vid!
@@awkingram k&n air filter, catback exhaust, downpipe and a tune will give you an extra 40hp. It will run you a couple to a few thousand dollars though.
Nice video man, I enjoyed it can really see your driving and confidence improving through the day! I think you've inspired me to go to a track day next year in mine...
Might be trading my Integra and crv for a manual tsx this weekend w. Cash in top 🤞🏾
@@majjegaming5927 nah man, keep the Integra if it's not rusty. Plus, trading in two cars for one plus paying cash on top is not worth it.
Great choice in song, rip prodigy
Do you have any problems riding lowered? I really need to drop my shi but idk if it’s worth it if I’ll mess shit up lowering it
Cu2
Only issues I've have are scraping on high but very short speed bumps and CV axles wearing out a bit faster. If you're lowered an inch from stock, you should be fine.
Looks good, I was thinking basically the same as you 18x8.5 but et35 with a 235/40 tyre, should be just about perfect. There's a set of weds sa27s I've had my eyes on for a while now..
Those wheels don't look bad, not sure how it would look on a tsx though. And with a 235 width tire, the rim might stick out further than the sidewall so you'd have to be more cautious with curbs.
What's your setup it sounds awesome
No idea, bought the car like that. All aftermarket exhaust pieces, just don't know the brands.
Me again - getting my car remote tuned currently and have an issue with inconsistent AFRs. I remembered your video and thought maybe it was a similar issue with the O2 sensor. Mine was stuck in the OEM downpipe so I replaced it with an aftermarket one that maybe isn't working right. What brand was the sensor you removed and what brand was the new sensor? Cheers
I'm pretty sure the sensor that came out was original to the car; it just needed to be replaced due to age. The replacement one was NGK or Denso. Both are quality brands so either one is fine.
@@_kanes thanks for that I've put a denso in now, looks identical to the original one, fingers crossed that solves my issue.
@@SBBUK np man. Let's hope it works. If not, you'll figure it out.
@@_kanes yep, was the sensor, denso one fixed it. Serves me right for buying cheap crap. I don't think at the time I realized you could buy the denso one in a denso box for a reasonable price, the same sensor in a Honda box is more than double the price!
Ya know, I think about that a lot, and I know you do too. It sucks. Living in this world sucks, and as someone who’s gone through the course of life and the harsh realities that we feel during it, I can see you from a mile away. I’ve commented before, we have the same tsx, and the same outlook it seems. Best to you brother, one day we’ll be living thought free if there’s some way to do it we will find a way.
Yes, I remember you. We just gotta keeps our heads up and keep it moving. All the best.
Im In canada as well. Plan on getting it for my 2012. Have a long tube intake in the box still. Plan on doing the catback and intake in the same month then having a tune done. Did you have your tune done by surge bo? If so how was that process
You should also get a catted or catless downpipe if you're gonna get a tune. You'll get more power from it. I got the car tuned by @tuningbynick, I posted a video some time ago if you want to see.
You know?

hey man, where’d you get it installed and for how much? i got the same one just debating a couple options.
@@FoodLife-pr1rd I installed it myself with the help of some friends. I think I was quoted a few hundred dollars for an exhaust shop to install it.
i prefer the double din fascia with the 6.2 LCD screen stereo and for a reverse cam etc. plus i got rid of the crap BOSE speakers / amps front and rear as they a weigh a shit load too. junk
@@Nismo65 I wanted to get the double din but I can't justify spending money on that when the car needs other things. I basically didn't spend anything changing my stereo.
K24 all day . I surprised you don't see more 6spd turbo setups
Not too much aftermarket support I'm guessing.
nice Z
im looking to getting this exhaust but that buzz kinda messes with me
@@asstronnn I installed a vibrant resonator after I made this video and it fixed 90% of the buzzyness/rasp. Cost me an extra $300 bucks to get it installed though 😕. Will have to a make a video on that soon.

@@_kanes where did u buy your catless downpipe
It's a catted down pipe and I bought it from jspec performance in Toronto
reminds me of my na back in the day. need to get my build done already. miss driving her. on jackstands for past7 years. bay shave, quarter panel chop n swpa. neeed to finish underside, then install gas tank and subframes, then swap and drive already lol. customers cars always first though. gotta keep that money flowing.
@@gateaccess818 7 years is crazy long. I get that you have to make the money, but you also gotta make time for yourself. Start working on that build little by little whenever there is time, and then eventually you'll have more urge to work on it and get it done.

Love the headlights bro, did you retrofit them yourself or order those? Been thinking of headlights and don’t know what to go with
They're stock headlights with Amazon led light bulbs. Don't get aftermarket headlights though, they're cheaply made.
Brother this was quite entertaining to watch and i can’t believe im the only comment
@@Zliq3.0 appreciate it man, I did what I could with the dashcam footage. Also, it's usually a ghost town in the comments so I'm not surprised, but it's all good.
Car looks good man!😎 Is this basically a Honda Accord? I’m from the uk and looking for one, they look the same from the back but the front of yours has different styling from the accord. Interior and wheels are the same though. I guess the US called it the Acura and changed the styling abit? Apart from that is it still a 2.0 or 2.4 petrol i-vtec? I’m looking for a 2.4 petrol, but there’s very few in the classifieds over here, there mostly 2.0 petrols or 2.2 diesels.
Yeah, it is a Honda accord in Japan/Europe. North America only got the 2.4L and some came with the 3.5L V6 both having ivtec. For you, I'd find one with a 2.4L because it's a bit more power for an already 3400lbs car.
@@_kanes thanks for the info mate. 👍🏻
@jonnygti no problem
How much better is your 0-60 after the headers and tune? Finally got my Yonaka and love the sound but the car is still slow af lol
I couldn't tell you. I've never actually timed a 0-60. Just know that you can hang with the 9th gen Si now.

@@jarnailbrar6732 appreciate it.
What did you have done that made you nervous? Are they tough on exhausts where you are? Camping outside events is entrapment lol. That’s like a cop sitting outside a bar. I know that feeling all too well lol. About being pulled over not dodging cops outside a bar lol
@@Raptor2233 the car had yellow DRLs and the front plate was on the windshield which technically isn't allowed but most cops don't really bother you for that. The cops are messed up in my area though. They'll use regular cars like a Hyundai sonata or Honda accord as police vehicles (unmarked) and expect you to pull over for that.
@@_kanes I see. Yea I’m glad they don’t do that undercover nonsense here in Cali. I’m originally from Fl and I’m not even joking when I say I’ve seen a traffic stop by a lime green Escalade on some big ass rims lol
Undercover lime green Escalade is crazy. One thing I know about Cali though is they're very strict with modified cars; even out of state modified cars. I couldn't even think of living there.

Bro the tsx sounds so good I have a 13 as well. K&n intake only so far for me but after hearing yours I’m thinking about copying you
Bro, I don't blame you. An intake resonator delete and muffler delete is all you need for the sound tbh.

I would think the skunk2 would make it sound more rowdy. Doubt someone will make a video on that anytime soon though.
Lots of people have reported the skunk2 downpipe cracking so I would avoid it
@@SBBUK I’ve had my skunk 2 downpipe on my 09 accord for the past two years no problem and I live in ny . Holds up fine . Just picked up a 09 Tsx 6 speed thinking about grabbing the Yonaka catback and pairing it with the skunk 2 alpha downpipe I have
Run a "branch" resonator after the downpipe it helps with cabin drone and rasp. Synapse engineering makes a good one.
