My 2017 Road Glide Ultra was running sluggish as well. I changed my plugs and went to the screaming eagle 10 mm spark plug wires. I went with the HD standard plugs, not the screaming eagle one's. I would say that my bike runs much better with new plugs, and that the new spark plug wires look good, but I cannot verify if I got any performance gains from them.
On earlier efi I understand it that there is ion sense from the coils that require compatible plugs for advance timing. I don't generally think I know better than the people who design the things.
I wouldn't expect better performance, I might do it just for the look. Especially if I was doing an orange or copper color build. Style and appeal is proactive salesmanship
I'm running ngk iridium with msd wires on my 02 lowrider. Bike definitely runs at it's best with that combo. I've tried several others and notice power loss soon as I get on the bike. I actually pulled new drag specialties plugs out once and put old ngk's back in they make such a difference.
I bought a set of excel wires from JP Cycles and they sourced it out to RevZilla that came to my house that they look cool cuz they're red put them on and one of them didn't stay down on the spark plug so they became useless to me at $50 wasted so I went and bought screaming Eagle fat plugs and I bought some plugs from the Carquest down the road NGK spark plugs cuz I felt like my bike was running a little bit rougher now I feel that I'm sure it's attributed to that you didn't notice a difference changing out your stuff that's for sure I did not buyy the Screaming Eagle plugs because they're like 30 bucks and I got four plugs of ngks for 16 so I feel like the better deal those were what was on my bike before that spark plug wires in the new plugs made it very good I haven't done it in years but the plugs look pretty good when it took them out but I just came across this video and I just did this today so I thought I'd say what I thought cool video and I agree with you
I bet they do. I just did it as an experiment to see if there was any difference. There isn't that I can notice, but I like the look of the wires. Thanks for watching.
I appreciate an honest review and opinion.
Good job, all the way around. 👍
I appreciate it. Thanks for watching.

You would be right performance didn't change it just ran a little better because of new spark plugs. Thanks for watching.
I believe iridium plugs just last longer, and don't really have any effect on performance.
Nice machine.👍
I agree they just last longer. Thanks for watching.
Good video love the Ultra I have been thinking about this same thing mine is hitting 20k and due for service 👍🏻🇦🇺
Thanks man. Weather you go screaming eagle or not you'll notice a difference.
I'll go rhythm.
Happy trails, Cowpoke
Cool thanks for watching

I'll probably keep running them. It is running good right now.
I like the skull covers man
Thanks I like the Willie G stuff.

Thank you. I think they are all about the same. But I do like the look. Thanks for watching.
Nice Bike!
Thanks
I agree.
I run stock plugs and wires out 10k the m8 uses 4 = 5.00 each runs perfect .
I bet they do. I just did it as an experiment to see if there was any difference. There isn't that I can notice, but I like the look of the wires. Thanks for watching.
I have Screaming Eagle wires and plugs, I believe you will get longer life , better quality materials.
I tend to agree with that a little quality reassurance. Thanks for watching
should of changer the plugs only first, drove it, and then changed the wires
Maybe but I did the wires mostly for looks.
NGK plugs work great in my 06 street glide, way better than SE.
I'll probably do something different next time. They aren't really worth the money. Thanks for watching.
100% just the plugs. The 10mm wires are just thicker insulation. Most people just need fresh plugs. If any motor work I’d go with a hotter plug.
I agree. I mostly just did the wires for looks.
Thanks for watching.
