- Forza Motorsport is out on October 10th for Xbox Series X/S and PC while also launching on Game Pass. It's the first new title in the series since Forza Motorsport 7 launched in 2017, and pretty much a generational leap for the series.
Along with overhauling the gameplay, from the tire physics to the damage model, the reboot offers over 500 cars, with more than 100 being new to the franchise. There's the Builders Cup, a new Career mode which lets you race and build up cars to become winners; big changes to multiplayer, with Open Practice and Qualify; and much more for players to sink their teeth into.

You may have wanted to keep the video short and simple, but you have omitted lots of important details while covering things that aren't as important. 3 performance options, evolving career mode, dynamic weather on EVERY track, those things are more important points than "no spectator mode"

I don't know why, but in this video, they talk about better graphics compared to Forza 7 and all its advantages. When I first tried it, I remember how incredibly disappointed I was in the graphics. When you choose 60 fps, your image is extremely blurry, and the polygons build up way too slowly, making the graphics look very sad. Forza 7 is the clear winner for me, and I'm sorry that it was removed from the store.
The only thing about this that I find negative, is that the amount of upgrades possible, is dependent on the car level. I wanna be able to upgrade based on how much credits I have. Not the car level. Weird way to limit something that doesn't need limiting

I'm so hyped for this game. Been replaying the 360 games and they still hold up. Xbone generation was mid asf. Can't wait to go from the 2005 console I'm playing rn to my 4060ti PC!

I don't mind a game having multiplayer for those that are into it, but I also like having offline career mode as well but the problem these days is they want to make any and every game a live service that always require an internet connection or else the game is useless and I just won't support that kinda stuff with my money @@natgrant1364

That sucks. It has less cars than Horizon 5 & Motorsport 7.
Well, single player got killed, most game modes disappeared as well asthe tracklist.
Most other stuff is copy paste from before.

The progression has me very worried, but hopefully the free tracks will be worth it over the coming years. I’m going to play on game pass.
If I really like it, I will purchase whatever edition I choose the progression system, however, has me halting in my tracks.
Why will the game have fewer cars than the past few titles? And are we gonna ignore the fact that pickup trucks, SUVs, and vans are absent?

The next Gen games are getting expensive beyond the standard USD 60. Upgraded graphics are coming at a cost. Rumours are that Gta 6 will be 150 dollars even though it does not seem true still it won't be less than 100. Good thing is here is that you can play this game via game pass but not for others.

My biggest issue w FM6 and 7 is the cars do not feel heavy, its always slippery. It has never done a good job where rubber meets the road. This looks the same.
As someone who has played every game in the franchise, they obviously made the mainline games feel more like horizon because of its popularity I guess. Big mistake

I’ve yet to make a single friend on the new gen in any lobbies. No one even talks anymore on their mics either as it’s all party based now and you can’t talk to ransoms in game

Simple truth is, I might play it for another day or so on game pass, but I certainly wont be spending the hundreds of dollars they're asking for a "car pass" are they being serious right now? the car pass edition is nearly $200 here!

The fact that you need an RTX 2080 TI just for the high settings it's kind of a deal breaker for a lot of people...I can play FM7 on 4k mostly ultra settings with an RTX 2060 (laptop) and an I5 10300H...

Ray tracing in dynamic 4k so 1440p 30fps and 1080p 60fps while no ray tracing in GT7 but it has 4k 60fps even 4k 120fps with VRR
That's wrong. FM modes:
4k/60fps no RT
4k/30fps with RT
Dynamic 4k/60fps with RT.
GT7 has a 120fps mode at 1080p and almost never maintains 120fps (it swings between 70-90)

The car cup builder mode is, to deter cheating. It’s basically you have to race to get exp for your car to unlock things but it doesn’t cost credits. I guess you get feedback on your performance as well. Sounds fun, but all of the cars will be curated, so you don’t really get to pick what car you can do this with. Big shot in the foot if you ask me

3:50 - You should watch the DF interview… it is not 4K 60FPS with Full RT, Full RT is only available on the 30 FPS mode.
Why do you want Gran Turismo 7 on PC since it's basically the same crap as this game. There are better choices than both console games on the PC already.
FM is more simulator than GT7. Not by a large margin but still more realistic. And FM has 2 performance modes with RT on Gameplay vs ZERO on GT7 😆😆😆

And if you have it on game pass, they'll probably sell the game with a massive discount for $10, so resist the McDonalds double cheese burger and fries for once at that point in time and buy FM on discount. Besides, the next game will be released by then, so again, it won't matter. A game being removed from the store really is a negligible thing to mention unless new comers want to jump on board after it's removed. At that point, buy a hard copy online.

Forza and GT ARE more sim-ish than sim. Microsoft is trying to pass this off as a racing sim to PC Gamers, sorry guys we are just waiting on the eminent release of Assetto Corsa 2, and the wait is HARD.
I noticed that they conveniently forgot to mention the required persistent internet connection that must be had to play the game. That is also a new feature. Gamingbolt, such integrity - sheese...
Both GT7 and FM are gamer-friendly Racing sims as opposed to hardcore sims like ACC and iRacing. GT7 and FM are more into having lots of cars and exciting career mode, while ACC focuses on full GT3 real-world simulation and iRacing on eSports.
I've got to be honest, I'm not really waiting on AC2. I seriously could give a chit about it.
They're sim-cade games. Which is a subgenre all its own.

Really disappointed. The last good Motorsport was 3. Tired of the same old vintage cars for a decade, tired of career mode being nothing but doing random stuff just for money. I’m sure this tire performance overhaul will be as much of a joke as their “smoke dynamics” for horizon 5. At least I can make my avatar a disembodied head.

GT7 + PSVR 2 = Game Over for Forza

GT has always been second to Forza. Not an issue.
I wouldn’t say so. GT7 is a good game and PSVR2 is good quality but…
1. GT7’s hype has long passed.
2. PSVR2 didn’t sell well.
3. GT7 is only available on PlayStation, most sim racers are on PC.
4. GT7’s multiplayer is very basic and poorly designed compared to Forza’s
5. Forza is a next gen title GT7 isn’t
6. Forza is a more approachable game than GT7
7. Forza is on PC Xbox and cloud

@shittysingingaccount there has only been 1 selling number given back in April or may. And if that number continues to grow like that, it is lining up to be the fastest selling headset for the first year. So it is selling. VR in general just isn't a huge platform.
