I use to fast for 34 years in the religion I was raised. I'm over with fasting. The most intelligent advice I have heard was of a guy called Billy Carson. He was vegetarian, then vegan and got sick. Almost lost his life. Then he decided to get a special test of his blood and go to a nutritionist. Who design a menu specifically for him. 💪🏾

I suffered some major health issues a few years ago.
To facilitate my recovery I have converted over to a Vegan diet. It has had a massive benefit to my overall health and my bodies ability to heal.
    I removed all process foods.
    I removed almost all sugars.
I removed all high fructose corn syrup.
I removed almost all breads and other processed carbohydrates.
I adopted a staple diet containing the following ingredients. I do meal prep one every month or two and 50lbs of foods costs me around $200.
    Recipe:
    - Shelled edamame (10 lbs)
    - Broccoli (10 lbs)
    - Cauliflower (10 lbs)
    - Sweet yellow onions (6 lbs)
    - Red, yellow, or orange bell peppers (8 peppers)
    - Button mushrooms (for T count) (8 cartons)
    - Olive oil
    - Garlic
    - Black pepper
    - Turmeric
    - Basil
    Supplement:
    - Fish oil supplement (two large capsules)
    - D3 supplement (20k)
    - K2 supplement
    - Multivitamin
    - Beta-carotene
    - Small amount of zinc supplement (for T count)
    - Potassium in the form of bandannas since the FDA doesn't allow supplement above 3% of the daily recomended
I had the most benefit from this diet when doing intermittent fasting for 16 hours a day.
In addition to the above I have also been doing meditation and started using a EEG style headband to assist with my meditation practices. Current I am using the Muse2, but their are other options that I hear work well.
Thank you David for your work on reversing genetic aging both homeopathically and using gene therapy.

Wow that's dedication. I'm happy for you that you have found a routine that works.

@@lspag7415 My sugars come from fruit, honey, and carrots. I sometimes put some sugar on something but I has been a priority to avoid sugar.
I tend to go on the diet for a couple months asking with meditation and exercise then take a couple of weeks to get diversity back into my diet then return to the diet.

@jasonhamilton9525 thanks for your reply, i admire your determination.
I'm trying to reduce sugars and eat more greens/ vegetables, been vegetarian for over 40 years and so difficult to imagine life without cheese and eggs but working on reducing these things.
      Good luck to you 🍀

@@lspag7415 There is style very good vegan butter. I also eat previous butter to fill in on fats.
Carbs were the hard part. The trick with carbs was slowly reducing the types of carbs.
High fructose corn syrup to regular sugar. Sugars to carbs. Carbs to carrots. And reducing the amount of each in favor of vegetable carbs, unprocessed proteins, and healthy fats.

Wow, you got healthy and turned into a bunny rabbit. I think I saw you foraging my property for carrots 🥕 which oddly enough you omitted from this super healthy recipe.
I'm more like a Neanderthal and eat meat. OK, I'm almost 100% Neanderthal some have called me the missing link.
Unlike my knuckle dragging ancestors, i do not eat rabbits, although I do hear it tastes like chicken.
Your diet is optimized for rabbits. 16 hour IM, yeah, you're gonna out live me by 40 to 60 years. IM is extremely healthy.
      Good work 👏 💪 ❤️

two very important points here. And please everyone look into it and DON'T just trust people! It's your health and your life!
    1. Sinclairs claims regarding Resveratrol could NOT be reproduced in multiple studies over the last 10 to 12 years. There are evern some concerning results!
    2. Fasting is NOT good! One cannot compare mice to humans in regards of metabolism and his stuedies on mice would actually mean that a human would have to fast for 3 days or more.
Additionally there are many stuedies that show how important protein is and we need way more than the min. amount that is recomended. Especially because of the muscles and in age maintaining ones muscles. If you fast you can NOT get the needed amount of protein.
This are the main points I want to bring up and I hope that everybody will at least look into it before considering doint anything recomended by Sinclair.

2600 yrs ago a rather insightful healer said eat vegetarian & only once a day before midday to support long life, healthy body and mind. He was a King who’s vow was to support & protect his people from enemies. He saw the obvious: the greatest enemies are sickness, old age & death.. That took care of the body. Then came fasting for the mind of poisons & feeding it wisdom to create a divine body of the eternal ecstatic dance of bliss/wisdom. He was Shakyamuni Siddhartha Gautama ie the Buddha.

I have one meal a day. No meat at all. Poor meal that will not get my organs to overwork.
I have pickles, lemon, apples, orange etc. I drink lots if tea. Having plenty of sunshine, let myself be fully wet in rain and win. Drink 10 teaspoonful of cocoa per 24 hours. Sleep 3 hours. Now near 80. Looking to 120 and flying to Mars in Elon Musk' craft.
