Why do you rely so much on Dr Sinclair...hasn't a lot of his stuiff been debunked by experts?...makes me doubt this channel. I just fouind it but now I do not know if to follow what you say
My thought is that quercetin and resveratrol provide just enough plant stress to the cells in the dosage curtailed to the individual. One must calculate personal daily life stress in conjuction. While we don't know the stressors people like Sinclair and other longevity experts face, we do know that money is not one. Lack of money and acquired debt is a huge if not number one stressor for most people. Longevity experts don't have that huge stressor. They can afford to use themselves as guinea pigs and buy any available supplement/drug on the market. They can afford the gym memberships, the vacations, the time off, the clinics, the psychiatric help for stress management. They can afford the many blood tests and doctor appointments required to see what works and if something needs to be tweeked. Longevity is about managing enough good stress levels and mitigating bad stress in a healthful fashion. So i would think that baseline stress levels and ability to measure results would definitely need to be factored into consideration when choosing and properly personalizing dosing requirements.
@@byronfoppola8676 many ppl don't realize but wrong dose of Quercetin could potentially do the opposite which is not good. That's why it's not recommended to take more than the recommended dose. Even senolytics that are taken once a month have a daily amount of Quercetin and not a concentrated dose.
wow that sounds like a fancy way of accusing them of privilege ? how do you know the the stressors others have? if you took a medical intervention, that alone is stressing your immune system daily, every hour, every minute causing unnecessary inflammation. I know poor people that don't eat out and that alone separates them from cheap commercial poor nutrition food; however, they have stress of basic needs. The body is resilient and is made to handle stress. poor or wealthy, exercise can be done at home without a gym membership. health/fitness is not a result of income or status, there are unhealthy in both categories not causal or even correlated.

My concern is for people with the COMT gene mutation AA. Fisetin and Quercetin both slow the metabolism of dopamine, other excitatory hormones and estrogen when they already have a problem with metabolism. I think there is over 20 percent of the population with that problem. Different individual genetic methylation problems make supplementing more complicated. I'm just diving into learning it. It makes me more cautious.

It would be the easiest thing in the world for David (considering that this is the number one question he always receives) to simply create an online page where he shows the exact nutritional stack that he takes every day and every week. He could update that every time he makes a change and never have to answer the question again. And because that is so easy, and because he hasn't done it, I suspect it's because he doesn't want to update everybody on exactly what he's taking

Love your podcasts and my membership. I think that Sinclair added l taurine because he became vegan and not getting enough taurine from his diet.. what do you think?
Dr Gundry too emphasises magnesium, but recently hinted that its bio-availability may be hindered by low levels of intra-cellular potassium (not serum potassium). My nightly cramps have subsided since I've added a little potassium supplement.
MAGNESIUM ENERGIZES (ATP) THE CELLULAR PUMP ( SODIUM / POTASSIUM) , .WITHOUT IT POTASSIUM DOESN'T ENTER THE CELL...EXCESS SODIUM & CALCIUM DOES. NOTE: IF THERE 'S AN EXCESSIVELY HIGH LEVEL OF POTASSIUM IN THE BLOOD & NOT ENOUGH MAGNESIUM ,EXCESS POTASSIUM WOULD NOT BE UPTAKEN INTO THE CELLS DUE TO AN INACTIVE PUMP!!!
Something Dr. Sinclair may want to consider since he has those concerns. >>Compared with metformin, berberine exhibited an identical effect in the regulation of glucose metabolism, such as HbA1c, FBG, PBG, fasting insulin and postprandial insulin. All of this is great , and I take some of these supplements but everyone's body is different and my Italian Great Grandfather lived to 94 and mostly ate natural meat. He never even got sick. He only died of a broken heart cause his wife died 2 months before him. I also would have thought magnesium would be the most important supplement. Nac is also very important. You need to becareful with too much fish oil or omegs 3's cause it can lower your blood pressure and make you dizzy if you already have good to low bp. Don't forget tocotrienols, milk thistle and vitamin c either. Like I said everyones body is different and I'm sure most of those suppements are great.
Not an insignificant percentage of people have the MTHFR gene mutation, one or two copies that effect the Krebs Cycle. Taking methylated B and folate appear to alleviate symptoms

Do you have any recommendations for how to find a doctor that is into the longevity supplements? My Dr. that got me into it moved out of state. Is there a directory of some sort that is available?
you may have better luck w/ an osteopath vs and MD. if your clinic/hmo has a directory, search there. a functional medicine practitioner may do help you. find one thru the IFM site (institution of fm - zip code i think). you will have to read websites or phone/ask them

There are circumstances where people under 60 should take quercetin. Especially if they are taking NMN or NR. It's important to increase the declining NAMPT levels and quercetin will help with that
I wonder if quercetin makes sense for "younger" people like 20-40 year olds, to combat mast cell activation and histamine flares? It helps in my case and is better than prescription drugs that basically just kill histamine?

Dr. David Sinclair is the most none-consistent doctor I have ever seen in my life. He changes he's mind on things every Monday and Friday. This doctor have to do Polygraph when being interviewed.
He's a biologist at Harvard who researches aging and epigenetics and uses himself as a test subject. He's well respected in the field and is sharing his findings. Of courses he's making adjustments and evolving with the data.
he is a geneticist at Harvard. when he shares his info, he always says he is experimenting on himself & he is not a dr nor prescribing anything for anybody. the info is just an fyi because people always ask. he modifies his list/dosage based on the science he sees, his personal labs, and genetic history. do not expect him to give us a prescription. take his list & the list of several others who are biohacking, who are doing the reading & interpreting the studies like Mark Hyman. Compare what they recommend & why. choose from your own curated list base on your health needs. Hyman questioned Sinclair in an interview about Metformin, saying other things are more effective, but Sinclair cited his genetic history as why he took Metformin, and wasn't budging. Marcel on the Pulse channel has an interesting take
Can u talk about magnesium and it’s flushing side effects in some people? And which form has the least of this side effect? Bc it’s adding up to my hot flashes. Thanks ❤
Are you sure you mean flushing with magnesium and not niacin? I've never heard of flushing being a side effect of magnesium. If you are referring to niacin, have a look at Endur Acin, which is a slow release form of niacin that helps with flushing.

So true. By now we know what’s good/bad for us. Take a few supplements. Magnesium. Fish oil. EVOO, A multi. I think everyone can agree on these. Try to drink a tea daily. Be it green, black, hibiscus whatever. Shop on the outer rim of the supermarket. Avoid seed oils. Try to move our bodies as much as possible. Thank you. Subscribed to follow Dr Sinclair Protocol.
Love your podcasts and my membership. I think that Sinclair added l taurine because he became vegan and not getting enough taurine from his diet.. what do you think?
That's a really good point
Yeah I'm a member too.
Hi Miriam, veganism is probably secondary reason. I think 2023 study was the main reason - it's an amazing study! check it out in my channel
Dr Gundry too emphasises magnesium, but recently hinted that its bio-availability may be hindered by low levels of intra-cellular potassium (not serum potassium). My nightly cramps have subsided since I've added a little potassium supplement.
Excellent insight tom!

What about.. astaxanthin?
Good sources for nmn and the supps? Brands or anything? Thank you
The truth is, we’re actually just working for the mice. They’re having us figure out how to make them live forever
That's the whole purpose of the academia reallly... there is a mouse at the top of the pyramid!
Something Dr. Sinclair may want to consider since he has those concerns.
>>Compared with metformin, berberine exhibited an identical effect in the regulation of glucose metabolism, such as HbA1c, FBG, PBG, fasting insulin and postprandial insulin. In the regulation of lipid metabolism, berberine activity is better than metformin.
berberine also has many other great effects including being a great antimicrobials
@@Vgallo You can Google berberine prostate NIH and see what turns up. Be amazed. Not sure if Metformin offers those side benefits, but if it does, both can be taken together.
@@Vgallo Yup, it's there.
>>Conclusion: This study confirmed that prostate cancer risk decreased with increasing duration of metformin administration. Metformin should be considered as a new strategy in the treatment and prevention of prostate cancer characterized by heterogeneity.
@@Vgallo They axed my message about Googling Metformin, Prostate, NIH. They are a funny lot these censor dudes.
He does mention it on his podcast Lifespan.
Thank goodness anti aging happens at every year! And I’m studying them right now! And I’d love to be Dr. Sinclair’s assistant!
How do all these supplements affect the stomach, does it interfere or inhibit the activities of the stomach at all?
What does he avoid? He avoids going grey by dying his hair. I for one completely support him as nothing ages a man more than grey hair or god forbid it, a grey beard.
Us bald guys wish we were lucky enough to be gray.
Thank you for this video. Can you make a video on what's good for neuropathy patients.
Look at R-ALA and Benfotiamine.
Ala R form told our Neurologist ,recently to my Renal Diabetic husband. Check with your doctor always pls first.
This is not advice.
God Bless🙏💙
Hi check Dr Wahls protocol for MS. I will soon implement this with my wife whom had severe stroke.
FOR NEUROPATHY, TAKE R-LIPOIC ACID , VITAMIN B6 (P-5-P FORM) , ANTIOXIDANTS ( VITAMINS C , ASTAXANTAN) ALSO, CARNOSINE & B-COMPLEX (I'M AWARE THAT B6 HAS BEEN MENTIONED- IT'S IMPORTANT). TAKE THERAPEUDIC DOSAGES ..ABOUT DOUBLE WHAT THE LABEL STATES. REMEMBER , WHEN IT DISAPPEARS IN ABOUT 3-4 WEEKS , DO COME BACK & REPORT IT!!!!!!
Ive been toxic on un monitor d3 i was well over 150 and developed muscle twitching and numbeness in feet hands fatigued
Thanks for the update !
Thank you Mark
it would be nice to know the brands that are clean
Hi Maria, here we speak about specific brands, prodcuts, and more

How does he digest so much stuff !!?? It's nuts!!
Now we know which products he intends to "research" and remove from the market. Good info! 😅
haha I really laughed at this one...though I like Sinclair's lab work. let's hope nothing is removed.
Specialized pro resolving mediators extracted from omega 3s are not often mentioned but have been studied for autoimmune conditions such as Lupus.
Excellent insight! please subscribe😘
TMG - Tri methyl glycine.
Thanks for the video Rimon! Would be awesome if you give some info on algae omega 3 on the fish oil video too.
Thank you Adria, thank you - your idea will be 100% included in the video. lots of love
Yes fish is an allergen so is algae Omega 3 just as good?
Fantastic video very interesting. Health - exercise- meditation 🧘🏻♀️- sleep then add in my supplement s 🙌🙏. And at the end of the day do what feels right for you . 🎉🎉🎉
I stopped NMN after a month because I got arthralgia and bone pain, do you think I should give it another chance?
Try it again.
I think it’s a good molecule.
try to take it every other day, I had problems with heart arrhythmia but it gradually went away by reducing the doses. I guess my body got used to it and now I can take it every day. NR and niacinamide should also be compared, in any case the effect is almost identical.

Do you have any recommendations for how to find a doctor that is into the longevity supplements? My Dr. that got me into it moved out of state. Is there a directory of some sort that is available?
you may have better luck w/ an osteopath vs and MD. if your clinic/hmo has a directory, search there.
a functional medicine practitioner may do help you. find one thru the IFM site (institution of fm - zip code i think). you will have to read websites or phone/ask them
Not really rick...it's not taught in medical school
Is there any data or other evidence that supports benefits of Dr Sinclairs routine?
Yes, we speak about it live (and specify his reearch and protocols) here:
www.skool.com/longevity-hackers/about
Nice work! Thank you.
Damn he keeps changing one day he says it works later he change his routine says it doesn’t work - I have been taking quercetin because of him-glad I have stopped taking 😵
Only molecules that works 100% in my opinion - evoo and metformin, rapamycin, daily exercise which I believe surpasses all molecules)
Is sinclair still following a plant based diet? Does he post somewhere his results with inside tracker?
it was proved in one study a year a go that Resveratrol need be taken before eat ,at empty stomach give opposite effect and can even short longevity
Any research on C60?
There are circumstances where people under 60 should take quercetin. Especially if they are taking NMN or NR. It's important to increase the declining NAMPT levels and quercetin will help with that
How about ca-AKG??????
I wonder if quercetin makes sense for "younger" people like 20-40 year olds, to combat mast cell activation and histamine flares? It helps in my case and is better than prescription drugs that basically just kill histamine?
Great job on the video!
Thank you 🙏
Did you guys just to a video not long ago about how resveratrol shouldn't be taken every day, but instead every other day? Unless I'm missing something, this video completely contracts your other video. Could you please explain?
Thank you for your video. I do have Fisetin supplement at home but never dared swallowing it. I will now. However. Main of the supplément of fesitin are 100 mg, and it is advised to take 1 capsule per day. Therefore I wonder how does David Sinclair reaches 500mg Fisetin / day . Does he take 5 capsules ? when it is suggested to take one per day on the product. ????
When you do your video about Omega3 I would be interested to hear something about the medicament Omacor
Question, with Metformin would it be advisable to avoid taking ant sugar in food such as fruit and other sugar food?
You say David takes NMN with water, but he doesnt say that in anything you showed. Was that a mistake? Anything to back that up?
@wellnessMessiah he mentioned berberine. What dose do you recommend if one is not on metformin ?
Hi Susan For my clients I Recommend 2-3 times a day before meals. Unlike metformin, it's a short-lived supplement and quickly metabolized. Standard doses on labels is 500m, but I didn't do dose research into berberine since I don't take it.
Rhonda Patrick has a detailed information page on Berberine on her website. Just google ‘FoundMyFitness berberine’
Is it ok to follow exactly how others are supplementing themselves? Isn’t it based on what deficiencies you have? I always get skeptical about taking supplements based on others or as I want. Please awaken me why this ok?
The suggestion is that to improve Healthspan, the factors for genomic instability, telomere dysfunction, epigenetic alterations, loss of proteostasis, compromise of autophagy, mitochondrial dysfunction, cellular senescence, stem cell exhaustion, altered intercellular communication and deregulated nutrient sensing should be targeted. So how do we prioritize the many supplements some charismatic influencers with impressive qualifications has urged us to take? The Science of these 40 plus supplements suggests benefit in NIH library articles. True?

Please make a video about URolithin A, do you take it?
Hi my friend, I don't take URolithin A yet since I haven't researched it. My current obsession is with Taurine research.
Pomegranate juice. Watch the sugar.
Thank you for the video
Dr. David Sinclair is the most none-consistent doctor I have ever seen in my life. He changes he's mind on things every Monday and Friday. This doctor have to do Polygraph when being interviewed.
he is not doctor, is scientist
Marcel on the Pulse channel has an interesting take
@@davidpowell3469 Those patents should be going to Harvard, or who ever pays for the research, NOT SINCLAIR..
Aspirin 81 MG but I read that taking late in life is damaging
A while back he said he takes CaAkg. It's probably been at least a year since I've seen that video. Does anyone know if he still takes that?
I dunno. Resveratrol has become a must have in my regimen. I did just up my serving to 2 grams just to see. I just did this today.
Resveratrol was proven useless/ineffective -- and Sinclair a FRAUD -- over a month ago!
You look GREAT Shann !
Great video. But please use timestamps
Thank you!
4g of fishoil, yes, but only if you take the best stuff that is clean enough and has the correct amounts of DHA and EPA, such as Omega RX2.
thank you dear rimon !
Thank you dear Daniel!
What about glynac?!!
Taurine is not an L form amino acid and you previously did a video on avoiding high dose daily resverstrol so have you changed that opinion?
Can u talk about magnesium and it’s flushing side effects in some people? And which form has the least of this side effect? Bc it’s adding up to my hot flashes. Thanks ❤
Are you sure you mean flushing with magnesium and not niacin? I've never heard of flushing being a side effect of magnesium. If you are referring to niacin, have a look at Endur Acin, which is a slow release form of niacin that helps with flushing.
@@richardpellisthanks but no it’s magnesium. You can search it out . Thanks though 🎉
Magnesium glcinate is 4 sleep.. mag l threonate crisses blood brain barrier, helps the gut, mag oxide cheskesr + not absorbable
.none causes flushing
Interesting that Q10 is not in the list though it support mitocondrie
What kind of fish oil supplies 4 grams of EPA and DHA?
4 pills of most...and double the twice daily i.e. 2 teaspoons (thus 4 tsp) of cod liver oil
One definition of a 'clean diet' is to exclude all oils. I've been having good results doing so.
hello, 10 months ago you made a video with several studies proving that resveratrol should be taken at more less 100mg/100kg person every other day ... and now we are back to 1000mg a day... can you clear out please, thank you
Hi sure! you asked about resveratrol. I don't support sinclair dose at all. But the video wasn't about me. I recommend 50-120 mg. Check the resveratrol 10 habits (i have pdf for channel members here on youtube)
Why he said Glycine is bad during the talk of TMG when there was already research to reverse aging in NAC + Glysine?
Hi all, does anybody know how to measure one’s NAD levels and other markers to see if I’m taking enough NAD and other supplements?
And is there a table where to look at all the marker levels you should reach?
Thank you
Thanks for putting it all together
There’s a lot of videos calling sinclaire a fraud with lots of evidence. And all these videos that are still business as normal. So does this NMN combo work or not?
wondering if he adds enzymes into his Yogurt to ensure the fat in the Yoghurt is broken down and it ends up more smooth, where it can't be obsorbed properly in the body? Better to add enzymes (Digestive in Yoghurt, ever seen the lumps, this is the fat that is not fully taken in the body.
what are your thoughts on Berberine?
prefers big pharma
multi effect supplement. affects cholesterol, kills candida and reduces blood sugar
if i have a NAD+ infusion do i still need to take NMN?
Do you think that Berberine 500mg 3x a day can replace Metformin?
Hi Standard doses on labels is 500m, but I didn't do dose research into berberine since I don't take it. I understand metformin much better. It has a ton of research vs berberine for longevity.
For my clients who prefer berberine I Recommend 2-3 times a day before meals, like you suggested. Unlike metformin, it's a short-lived supplement and quickly metabolized.
@@WellnessMessiahthank you
Please do review of FENBENDAZOLE for longevity
Hi I'm trying to get an interview with a doctor that prescribes it for longevity.
Repamycin taking along with ketamin treatment for depression should be beneficial
Yes he’s very informative and thorough.
everyday you hear something different, at this point just live your life
I think if we do enough of the above we are doing more than fine.
