    Very much enjoyed this video. This is so ironic. I actually have the exact same HW Mondial model, along with 3 others. And yes, I too have wondered what it would take to modify the color and/or interior. Excellent work! Wish I could do the same, but well beyond my knowledge, tools and skill level.

    Finally a 1:18 thank you. Shame about the subject matter, but I appreciate you doing a decent diecast scale.

    I have a question…For a Plastic scale model… I’m confused as to how long should I wait to wet sand after clear coating ,(3 coats), of Tamiya Spray Clear. I’ve heard 5 days, 10 days, 24 hrs, and honestly I will follow to do as you recommend as I feel you’re top notch when it comes to scale modeling. I love your videos and totally feel your recommendation will be of true proven value. Ty in advance! Sorry I know the question does not pertain to metal, but since this is your most recent video, I thought I’d
    a best shot at you answering my question.

    Nice job! Do you prefer the PS275 over the 290 now?

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel
      @TheScalemodelingChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      For smaller jobs, yes. The bigger bodies with more surface area are better suited for the 290

    Hi. Why did you stop using the Creos 0.5 nozzle for clearcoat application?

    I live for 1:18 scale. I know they take longer but I love them so much. Anyone knows of a channel that works on more 1:18 scale models than not? Trying to diversify my channel watching?
    Look forward to finish of this model.

    I just noticed that you use your old paints to hold pieces while painting, which looks like a great idea! If you don't mind me asking though, how do ypu adhere them to the canister? Until now I thought it was some specialty tool that used suction.

    Can you polish the white for a gloss finish?. Sometimes I feel the gloss coat is to glossy , above what was on the original car (real one)

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel
      @TheScalemodelingChannel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That depends on the paint you use. The paints used here, no.
      But if you used a gloss white paint(which is gloss without a clearcoat). Then yes

    Hey man, so I made rookie mistake. I’m bought the parts I need to start airbrush and I assumed that the airbrush and the airbrush compressor will have a way to connect to each other out of the box. But they don’t. I have a procon 0.3mm. The female silver connector that came with the airbrush is too big for the male connection on the compressor. Can you help me? Maybe some links to what you use for your setup?

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel
      @TheScalemodelingChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use harder and steenbeck hoses and connectors. The shop i bought my setup from set it up for me. So i have no clue on sizes and types etc

    Hi. We spoke about a year ago and you had given me your email. Unfortunately I had lost it. It was in reference to building a scale model of my actual car. I had a few questions in regards to it and also I'm looking for some products from your store for it as well. If you could resend the email, that would be awesome. I love your work and I've been following your technique in building my own
