100% the hunt is the fun of collecting anything. There is always something missing like the 1950 WC F1 (exists but waiting for the right one..hahaha) Thank you for you comments and happy collecting.
Thank you that is a huge complement. Years in the making. Love collecting and motorsport. Happy this hobby has evolved from really one 1/18th manufacturer in the 80's to many these days. Thank you again for watching.
Thank you for sharing your great collection. You have more cars in your collection than many hobby shops do! I just missed some 1/18 girls, it would be the cherry on the cake. Congratulations from Mexico!
Gracias! I was fortunate and once lived in your beautiful country! Hahaha yes should add some Grid Girls somewhere. hehehe! Thanks for your kind words and watching my video.
Thank you for watching. Yes I do like the wall display. Gives it a different look particularly when the cars look so "similar" to the normal person...Hahaha
Thank you for your kind words. For a majority of my collecting time they where in window boxes or in closest until I finally had a proper place to display them. Super fortunate to have the display now.
I started as a kid back in the 80's with smaller scale. Always loved 1/18 and have been very fortunate to grow the collection over the decades since. Enjoy the hobby and the hunt for the cars you want...that is the best part!
@@mycarcave6214 Thats awesome, I’m starting to collect mini helmets which I absolutely love. So far i have LH and GR! Can I ask what your hardest/ rarest finds were?
Rarest or hardest....That is tough. I would say in 1/18th it was the Exoto C9 LeMans winner set (I have since sold) or the original CNC Mercedes W196 Streamliner. They seem to be the hardest for me to find after initial release. Since they have been remade by Minichamps and GP Replicas so not so difficult to get a version. 2018 McLaren Alonso was also elusive until a second batch seemed to be released. Helmets..probably my 1992 Mansel and 1993 Prost is the rarest since it was a customer small batch release from company in Argentina. If you buy at release things are easier but I do find these days if I wait sometimes I miss out and then its a hunt to get them. That said the most rewarding models are the ones you have to chase down. Lots of satisfaction once you snag it. So enjoy the hunt that is the key to the hobby more than having a large quantity.
Wow! Have just seen this. Spectacular is an understatement! I have around 150 F1 models mostly 1/43 and around 6 in 1/18 and 1 in 1/12. Mine are all in boxes in storage as i now live on the otherside if the world. Perhaps in the next few years if i find a property and location to use as a solid base i may put them on display. Honestly, i have mixed feelings about such a large collection. Everytine i add one, i almost feel guilty. Therfore ive decided to focus on my favourite era only which is the mid 1970s and 1980s. What gives me most pleasure is obtaining backmarker cars like Zakspeeds and Osellas etc. thanks for the video. Super.
Congrats! Sounds like you have ab awesome collection going. My cars sat in boxes most of my life as like you I lived out of country off and on for 15 years. I understand your thoughts as a collection gets too large to really enjoy. I sell off focus sections I no longer enjoy. And find myself buying cars to meet say my Martini collection which I have not seen race or have a connection too. For now I am treading water but at some point age will force me to reduce my collection. Maybe just my WC collection, all Ferrari F1 … would still be a large collection even at that. Thanks for sharing and happy collecting
You have an amazing collection ... by far one of the Best any enthusiast/collector would dream of ... truly worthy of museum standards. Wish you could pan shots slower for better enjoyment. 👏👏
Much appreciated! Many years of collecting but a hobby I have always enjoyed. I think your suggestion is good. I do not have much new coming in to review so I could do much shorter bay by bay video. This one got so long I had to speed up some of the footage. I will see what I can do...raining today but with some time over the holidays I will see if I can cobble something together. Thanks for the input.
Awesome! I am a little bit thankful I did not collect 1/43rd as there are so many more options...you can practically have every car on the grid. Knowing my personality I would try for it. I used to have both drivers for each team but somewhere in the early 2000's I realized I could not keep that up for budget and space reasons. Congrats on your collection and lucky for you the 2022's in 1/43rd are starting to arrive now for most teams...I will be stuck waiting until mid next year I am afraid. Happy Collecting!
@@mycarcave6214 thanks. I AM a completest & yes I try to collect 1 car from each team from 1950 onwards! I'm afraid spark models have cost me a lot of money these past few years. Prior to them, 50's & 60's F1 were a bit thin on the ground to find. Have over 3000 1/43 F1's now including over 30 1/18th Ferrari's. I wish I had the space you have.
@GBURGE55 Would love to see that 1:43 F1 Collection. Please share a link if you have a video or blog. @My Car Cave, Stunning collection, congrats on the display aesthetics, truly inspirational achievement.
Don't really know what to say exactly , After seeing the yagermeister capri , I stopped everything.I was doing and paused it and just stared , Each livery got me more excited than the last , This video is a national treasure , My couple of dozen stock cars , Seems like crumbs now , The display case the cleanliness of your room is unsurpassed , Thank you ! Have a excellent day sir
Thank you that is very kind. I love the hobby as you can see and enjoy sharing it. All collections are worthy be it 5 cars or 500. Truthfully you can only look at one at a time. Like you I am sure your stock car collection helps you enjoy the sport you follow as it does for me with F1. Thanks for watching and the complements.
Hahaha! Yes I do have a few sizes in the collection. Primarily 1/18th but a smattering of 1/12th and 1/2 around. So can respect that does throw things off here and there. I lose focus and that is how odd sizes end of in my collection! hahaha
Thank you for your kind words. It has been a long process to collect and finally have a place to display them properly. Decades actually😅.... But the hobby is fun, the hunt is the best part. Hope to keep expanding but space is now limited so sell some to make room for others.
Hahaha. Thank you. Its a hobby I have enjoyed since I was a kid. I enjoy the "hunt" for the cars and anticipation of new releases. Keeps me young to some extent.
Fantastic! Thank you for hitting subscribe. I go in waves with a lot of videos then a drought depending on my purchases. 2024 F1 cars are just coming out so in the New Year I hope to have some for review. If you ever have a specific car or video idea do not hesitate to put it in the comments. On the layout it was decades in the making in terms of finally having a place for that display. Many years of boxes just stacked. That said I have maxed it out mostly so need to have a rethink on what stays and what goes!
Hello, wonderful collection!! Like others say, you have more cars than many hobby shops. I started my 1/18 collection back in 1994, as a matter of fact, I bought my first two cars while living in Mexico (I was there for work and I love the country as well). For many years I "abandoned" collecting cars but this year I re-started, I have about 36 cars. I'm concentrating on the Ferrari F1 winners, I have some lambos and Mercedes as well. Obviously, I have a long way to go, but like you said, it's the "hunt" which makes everything so gratifying. I would pay to see a collection like yours. Have you considered opening a small 1/18th museum somehow? Again, congratulations and cheers from Miami!
That's great your back in the "hunt". I have had big years and smaller years like this one depending on my interests and the cars being produced. Ferrari winners will give you a great focus. They key to me is a focused collection...I get off tangent some time and have to correct myself occasionally. A museum would be fun, unfortunately I do not see younger generations as in to collecting as my generation. Maybe I am wrong.... I lived in Mexico and used to have a guy there sell me decals and do some of my early Tobacco conversions...I have since taken up the conversions as part of the hobby and enjoy that aspect as well.
Wow!! Now that’s a collection 😮. Unbelievable!! I am going to have to say that this is my dream collection and how I visualise my man cave to look like. My inspiration if you will 😉
Thank you for your kind words. It was a long time coming but worth the wait to finally have the space to display. Thanks for watching and happy hunting!
That is very kind of you. I was definitely a dream come true to have a proper display setting after decades of stacking boxes for a display. I have found cars all over. Some times when traveling but mostly from dealers. I buy from ebay occasionally for ones I missed but a lot come from European dealers. Currency exchange and good service tend to drive my purchase locations. Sadly no local shop here as there was when I was a kid and first started collecting.
May I ask what is your occupation?? I have over 7'000 from 1/64to 1/8th and people think my collection is inspiring but your goes beyond that a whole room .. I wish I had a room this size 😕
I worked in Telecommunications all of my career. Fair amount of international work which is why I have only really been able to display my cars in recent years. Collection spent many years in boxes and closets while I was over seas. If you have 7,000 that is a ton more than I have and definitely inspiring! I am impressed. You have a good variety of sizes also. I got lucky when I bought my home it had a bonus room which is now the "car cave" . Thank you for watching and commenting. Happy collecting!
Thank you! It has been decades in the making but I have enjoyed being able to display them..... probably need an update video as things have shifted. Thanks for watching and commenting
@@mycarcave6214 Nice! Got myself around 40 models and i decided to display them on TH-cam so that everyone can enjoy them. Took me also like a decade to build my collection. For me a dream to collect all models from each year like you have!😬
wow, awesome collection I started mine like 2 years ago (is ferrari f1 and road cars 1/18) and have like 15 I can't imagine how much time you have put in to this collections cheers
Like you I started with 1/18 Ferrari ...back then early 1980's it was only Bburago making a few cars. It was the mid 1990's with UT and Autoart and Minichamps that my collection really took ground...coinciding with getting a job and earning money to fund the collection. So yes 35 or so years of collecting. I buy less now than I used to and tend to sell about as many as I buy these days as space is limited. Happy collecting. No need to have 500 cars.... just get the ones you want and keep your collection focused. Trade or sell as needed. It is a fun hobby and glad to see new people getting into it. I am old so it is nice to hear from new collectors.
How came you have so many racing cars ,and missing the best era of racing cars;you don't have in your cars collection, the cars of rally group B ?! Perhaps you don't like the Best ever racing sport in the world
@@hugolatino69 Hahahaha! Good call! Yes I am missing some of the best racing cars of the 80's for sure. There was a time I had a few but I find I have to focus the collection. Years ago there were not so many Group B cars available as there are now so the few I would pick up generally fell into my Martini Racing Livery group. When there is not much F1 being produced I still have the need to collect so maybe I will look into those. I have paired down my street cars a lot so maybe I dump those for Group B. Great suggestion!
I watched rallye group B live, and the feeling was like having 10 orgasms ;and yea m being honest with you ;Portuguese spectators were crasy belive me ;anyways I just finished my only cars collection from the rally group B and a few from F 1 All the best
Yes that is true. I do think I own one but may be a sister car to a Senna. Also have added since this video so may have GP Replica one. But yes a missed driver if I do not.
Most are in closed cases with glass doors. Those outside I in acrylic covers. There are some helmets and 1/12 that I have to clean every now and then. Once a year I will take the cars out and wipe down the shelves and clean the glass doors.
Really impressive and a stunning collection! For the 1:18 CMC Ferrari Transporter, I know it can be too heavy for its wheels if not supported, and distort them?
You are probably correct. I should check mine. Not sure if mine is sitting the tires or if I put something under it but now that you have mentioned it I will check! It's a cool model but would look better if I put some cars on it. I need a covered case for that.
@@mycarcave6214 I think the supports come in the box if I remember correctly - must be detailed in the instructions) It is beautiful but very heavy as we know! Cheers!
The music got me going, nice collection, I have 4 glass cabinets ranging from Australia Bathurst winners, wrc cars, supercars, Japanese cars , all these in enclose glass cabinets. Also collect 1:64 Hotwheels
Wow! That is awesome. All F1 is impressive. That is my real passion and as each new season comes I ultimately chose to sell of some of the endurance or street cars to make room. I would love to see your collection. Also, I will tell my wife I am not the only one who thinks like this!!! hahaha
Hahaha... yes one of my favorites and seemed appropriate...too bad I am not a DJ so trying to extend it for the video was not pretty. Glad some one enjoyed the song also.
Much appreciated. When I moved into this home I had them custom made. For the most part I have been collecting but no proper place to display. I am older so after decades I finally had a room I could designate to my life long collection.
It has been a massive rabbit hole! Hahaha... I have to rein it in every once an awhile. The past two years I have doubled down on F1 which is my real passion though probably the lease interesting for videos with no open parts.
Hola. Thanks for the compliment. It has been a long time collecting but I love it and happy to share it. I worked in DF many moons ago. Much love for Mexico!
Wow at first, but a lotta 'em is resincast, and saw some omissions too. Like every collector, I started by telling myself I will get only 5 my most favorite; now my collection stands at fifty or so, and frankly I already finding it too large- as I am not a museum, just a guy enjoying automotive design. I've seen some other enthusiasts collections, and I am finding that when it comes closer to magic 100, the quality starts suffering as the artisanal CMC's and Exotos and BBR's and even Autoarts start being watered down with HotWheels and Maistos and Minichamps and Burragos, and Norevs... Anyways- your is impressive collection but I am also grad it is yours and not mine if u know what I mean. Cheers!
Hahaha yes once you get above a certain number be it 50 or 100 it can become somewhat hard to enjoy them all. Only certain brands produce museum quality and I try to gravitate towards quality over quantity these days. But in cases I might have a CMC Ferrari in my World Championship collection then a crappy CMR for my same year in the Ferrari F1 section. Also a period where Hotwheels had sole rights to Ferrari killed my Schumacher collection. But as a collector I needed to have them. Yes some omissions that is part of the "hunt" I enjoy in collecting and resin has become an increasing presence with Spark LeMans and GP Replicas and others who are now filling the gaps. So yes more like a Diecast / Resin collection these days. Thanks for watching and you comments. Happy collecting.
What’s wrong with Maisto or Bburagos? If you enjoy them, it’s not wrong…it’s literally just an attractive piece of metal either way, regardless of quality
@@gmlcartalk I'd say that it is a wrong question to ask oneself about what's wrong with...? -It's a meaningless question: For example, there is nothing wrong with living on bread and water alone! But when you can have a Belgian waffle with maple syrup and a cup of Sumatran coffee for breakfast, why choose bread and water?? The truth of the matter is - everything is best known in comparison (as an old adage goes), and, in fact, you answered your own question: - QUALITY!! Besides quality there is indeed not much wrong! Except, that the quality is the ONE important thing to pay attention when collecting... It is not even the question of verisimilitude - because, for example, sealed resin-cast models have most truthful exterior. BUT, at least to my mind, they lack TACTILITY that the use of "nobler" materials: - metals, real rubber and leathers - elicits and brings to the fore. Nowadays CMC uses more of those "noble materials" in their models than just about anyone. This was not always the case but now it is. Autoart's glazing surrounds and even ABS bodies are more precise and more to scale, but they are plastic and when you hold an Autoart model in hand next to a CMC model - you immediately know the difference as it is not subtle! To me personally it always been about quality rather than quantity- in all things in life: I'd rather have one nice house than two mediocre ones. A CMC model in hand is something special and a thing to behold, and I'd rather get one CMC than six Burragos. Now, when I take a Norev or a Burrago in hand, it feels like crap, because of quality difference
@@yoryteperman429 im not reading all of that, but I like Bburagos and Maistos, and I’m happy with them. If someone likes something, don’t rip on them for it. Not everyone is after quality, some people just want to collect whatever cars they like
@@gmlcartalk "Not everyone is after quality" ?? What are they after then?? Crap? MORE crap makes it better than crap? No need to reply if u got too short of an attention span to read (and because my q. is rhetoric...)
Thank you! Much appreciated. I buy them all over. So originally I purchased from US or Canadian retailers but over the past decade or more I would say a majority come from European retailers. Occasionally ebay as well.
Very nice collection as you can see im an F1 collector too , so we have the same taste in race and road cars i am also guessing your in the USA as im in the UK
Yes I am located in the Southeastern part of the US. Nascar country! Not so many F1 fans here, though Netflix has increase popularity. I was lucky to go the British GP in 2013 and Goodwood last year. Love to visit the European tracks. Make some videos. Its not to hard to make, most annoying part is finding back ground music that! hahaha
Wonderful. Thanks for sharing. I assume the display cabinets for the cars are custom? If you bought them from somewhere, I would appreciate if you could share the link.
Yes the cabinets are custom. When I bought the house it had a guest room which I converted to this space. I previously used Ikea cases until I had the space to build these.
@@mycarcave6214 thank you for the swift reply. I just started my humble collection and certain companies suggest to keep in cool temps and away from direct sunlight or long exposure. Am still planning out how to display mine. Again thank you!
Hi, Most are in glass display cases. That said dust does get in over long periods so I will wipe it down once or twice a year. Yes I have almost all the boxes so if I need to sell I can do so easily.
Thank you….many years of collecting for sure 😆. The ones with tobacco like Marlboro, Camel or West have been added by me. I have sourced decals on line and added them myself. TB Decals out of Italy is a good one. They sell direct or on ebay. Ebay is a good source for decals. Some of the newer models from GP Replicas and even Minichamps come with them included for you to add.
Thank you! I have a variety of brands usually dictated by which one's make a specific model. F1 is mostly Minichamps, Spark, GP Replicas. Endurance is mostly Minichamps, Spark, Work83. Street Cars are mostly Auto Art, Minichamps, UT. Overall I probably own mostly Minichamps because the dominate the F1 market from the beginning. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting!
At this point would have to be Ebay. I purchased it when it first came out from a shop in Germany. I have not looked for one in a long time but ebay would be your best bet.
Thank you for watching. It's a bit on the crazy side but took decades to get to this point. Its a hobby I have enjoyed most of my life. Appreciate you taking the time to watch.
Felicitaciones, tiene usted una gran colección y todo muy bien presentado. Me gustó mucho la colección de campeones de F1. Un saludo de otro coleccionista 👋
True....same goes for giant 1:1 car collectors. And agree if you can buy anything whenever the fun is lost. Key is to set a budget makes it more enjoyable to have limits...I have to sell to fund new purchase as my rule now days. All in how you want to enjoy things and its decades of collecting ...but ya could have bought a real car...hahahaha
Sorry for the delayed response. It would depend on your preference of car. Meaning racing or street. I think that Minichamps is my over all favorite for good quality and reasonable pricing. Everything is more expensive by a large amount but there are more brands now which is good. Minichamps for F1/Endurance/Street. Auto Art high quality street but getting too pricey IMHO. Werk83, IXO, Norev all make nicely priced race cars and some street cars. If you find the type of model your looking for in the Werk83, IXO, Norev you will have a nice model without breaking the bank. Minichamps has a variety of prices so fair some a bit questionable like F1. Sorry if that is not clear. If you have a specific car in mind I might be able to narrow down my response.
Hahaha....pretty sure my wife would not have married me if I had the collection first. It was much smaller way back then. Thankfully she is understanding but she definitely does not understand my obsession. Hahaha.. I received my first 1/18th is 1984 so essentially 38years ago...was in the late 90's that I really got busy collecting with Minichamps, UT, Autoart coming on to the scene then. Again thank you for watching and commenting.
I have used Ikea Billy Cases with glass shelves and glass doors previously. I liked them and they do there job. Easy to install. These are custom from when I bought the home. But Ikea is a good economical solution in my opinion. You can add puck lighting to the Ikea ones also.
I am still missing the 1950, 2021, 2022 WC but those are finally on their way! Better to keep it focused otherwise you end up like me with over kill. I actually do not have a Stirling Moss. I should as he is a legend.
@@mycarcave6214 luv the collection..if only I had the money...I've still managed to get all f1 wc, not all in the same scale,I noticed some I've my models in your collection..well done
I actually now have one but still in the box. Not sure why I have not pulled it out but trying to figure out where to put. Logically the Martini collection. I have a Jager F1 I also need to put out. That said good eye for noticing I have that missing.
Mostly from online dealers. It has changed over time as the internet has grown. Started with US and Canadian based dealers but now mostly German and French dealers. Some ebay for releases I missed out on originally or gaps in the collection. Sadly no local dealers where I live. When I lived over seas I would buy from local dealers.
Hahaha.....that is what my wife thinks also...but with rolling eyes! Thanks I really enjoy collecting and is a part of my child hood I have yet to relinquish. Appreciate you watching.
You're hurting my inner American not having a Corvette C7R in there 😂 I think I saw a C6R but the C7 is way better looking and one of the best sounding cars to ever race
Hahahahaha....agreed it is a traitorous! I have had Corvettes/Dodges in the past but sold to make room as my interests change with the wind. ...was just at the WEC race in Austin and watching the Corvettes in person makes me think I should put some in the collection....though you are right the C7 is fantastic.... off to ebay I go!!!!!
Hahaha...collect what you like! I stated with 1/64 when I was young. My son collects 1/64. I grew up when 1/43 was popular and 1/18th was just starting to be made by multiple companies. Find your focus like JDM, Liberty Walk, Exotics and grab those. Try some 1/43 see how you like those. Have fun...enjoy the hunt!
For the F1 cars he has to move all of them over one spot each year to maintain the chronological order of the teams since he cant just put the new car at the top. I'm tired just thinking about having to do that. I started collecting 1/18 RWB Porsches. I think I'm stopping now that I hit 2 cars. 😅
It is true that each year presents a challenge to shuffle the cars. At one point I could leave a gap for the up coming year. Now I have to choose a defunct team like Prost or Arrows to discard to make room then shuffle them all to keep it chronological. I think Toyota is on the chopping block for 2023/24! But yes good observation..hahaha thanks for watching and commenting
At the time I filmed this video I did not have it. I have since had to rearrange the display to place jt. Currently I have open slots for the missing 2021 cars such as Red Bull, Mercedes, Alfa, Haas. I tend to buy specific versions so I am still waiting on the release of the 2021 cars I want.

Wao Amazing, than you for showing your collection!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you for watching. I love the hobby and makes me happy to find others who share the same interests
Fantastic display of a greater collection...congrats and huge thumbs up 👍👍👍👍
Much appreciated for the kind words. Love the hobby and happy that I have found a way to share with other collectors. Thanks for watching.
OUTSTANDING COLLECTION 💪🏾
Thank you…much appreciated
Great collection! Great room setup! The mixed scales sets my ocd off, but other than that TOP STUFF!
Hahaha! Yes I do have a few sizes in the collection. Primarily 1/18th but a smattering of 1/12th and 1/2 around. So can respect that does throw things off here and there. I lose focus and that is how odd sizes end of in my collection! hahaha
WOW!! This is my dream collection, wouldn't change a single thing! If I ever win the Powerball, let's talk about a happy price for everything! 🤪
Thank you for your kind words. It has been a long process to collect and finally have a place to display them properly. Decades actually😅.... But the hobby is fun, the hunt is the best part. Hope to keep expanding but space is now limited so sell some to make room for others.
@@mycarcave6214 I could spend hours appreciating everything
Wow! Wow! Wow! No word can describe your excellent collection. Not Diecast NO Life, same as you 😊
Hahaha. Thank you. Its a hobby I have enjoyed since I was a kid. I enjoy the "hunt" for the cars and anticipation of new releases. Keeps me young to some extent.
Just awesome collection!!
Thank you!....years of collecting to get to this point but love the hobby and happy to share with fellow collectors
New subscriber... Fantastic collection and layout!
Really nice collection
Much appreciated and thanks for watching.
Wao you have an Amazing collection,I like Everything and the music was great.Thank you to take the time and share your collection!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you very much. Glad I am getting some feedback on the music....love that song was not sure others would.
Blinded by the light 👑✨✨
OMG. What a beautifull collection you have in a even so beautifull setting. Were did you find al those cars, amazing.
Damnn 7000
This is awesome, what a collection!
I watched rallye group B live, and the feeling was like having 10 orgasms ;and yea m being honest with you ;Portuguese spectators were crasy belive me ;anyways I just finished my only cars collection from the rally group B and a few from F 1
All the best
No De Angelis Lotus? Should've had at least 1...
Yes that is true. I do think I own one but may be a sister car to a Senna. Also have added since this video so may have GP Replica one. But yes a missed driver if I do not.
How do you maintain dust control? Amazing collection 👌
Cheers!
Fantastic collection what country are you in ?
Thank you very much. I am in the United States
@@mycarcave6214 eww
The music got me going, nice collection, I have 4 glass cabinets ranging from Australia Bathurst winners, wrc cars, supercars, Japanese cars , all these in enclose glass cabinets. Also collect 1:64 Hotwheels
Superb collection. Well done
I have a collection too with 700+ models in 1:18 scale of Formula 1 only
Wow! That is awesome. All F1 is impressive. That is my real passion and as each new season comes I ultimately chose to sell of some of the endurance or street cars to make room. I would love to see your collection. Also, I will tell my wife I am not the only one who thinks like this!!! hahaha
Damn bro is living my dream
Appreciate it man!
Congratulations great collection!!!!!!
Thank you!!
Great song choice.
Hahaha... yes one of my favorites and seemed appropriate...too bad I am not a DJ so trying to extend it for the video was not pretty. Glad some one enjoyed the song also.
Wow such a lovely looking collection.
Where did you get your showcases from?
Much appreciated. When I moved into this home I had them custom made. For the most part I have been collecting but no proper place to display. I am older so after decades I finally had a room I could designate to my life long collection.
Impressive !!! wow
Excellent collection! Must have been quite a rabbit hole for you... like mine!😂
It has been a massive rabbit hole! Hahaha... I have to rein it in every once an awhile. The past two years I have doubled down on F1 which is my real passion though probably the lease interesting for videos with no open parts.
Amazing collection!
Much appreciated ....thank you for watching

This is amazing
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
Best collection I've seen..wow ! We're are you getting the car's from?
Its not to hard to make, most annoying part is finding back ground music that! hahaha
What is your daily drive?
@@mycarcave6214 How did you find someone to do that for you? I have looked at some of the IKEA cases, but just feel they really don’t meet my needs.
Nice collection! Do you keep them away from direct sunlight and keep temp cool?
Thank you. The room is climate controlled but there are skylights in the roof so sun does filter in a periods during the day. Mostly in the morning.
@@mycarcave6214 thank you for the swift reply. I just started my humble collection and certain companies suggest to keep in cool temps and away from direct sunlight or long exposure. Am still planning out how to display mine. Again thank you!
Unreal! How do you keep the dust away? Do you keep all the boxes too?
Hi, Most are in glass display cases. That said dust does get in over long periods so I will wipe it down once or twice a year. Yes I have almost all the boxes so if I need to sell I can do so easily.
Wow! Just wow!
Thank you...love the hobby
very impressive
Amazing!! But where did you buy the Ferrari with Marlboro's sponsor?? I can't find any😪. Thanks.
@@mycarcave6214 ok thanks!! I do it with McLaren of Norris GP Mónaco 2021 jejeje. And yes, eBay is so good.
Amazing🔥🔥
Thanks
Awesome collection. Are they all the same brand? Which brand? Thanks.
Do you know where you got the '08 Renault from? Been on the search for one
At this point would have to be Ebay. I purchased it when it first came out from a shop in Germany. I have not looked for one in a long time but ebay would be your best bet.
Seriously impressive
Thank you for watching. It's a bit on the crazy side but took decades to get to this point. Its a hobby I have enjoyed most of my life. Appreciate you taking the time to watch.

True....same goes for giant 1:1 car collectors. And agree if you can buy anything whenever the fun is lost. All in how you want to enjoy things and its decades of collecting ...but ya could have bought a real car...hahahaha

Much appreciated.
what model brand would you recommend for a nice display piece without breaking the bank? You seem experienced
Brilliant collection but the music killed it!!
sorry you have it wrong top music
Whoa 😳 my wife would never let me do this 😆😆😆 how many years have you been building this collection up? It’s really awesome!
Where did you get the display cases? I'm in need
I have used Ikea Billy Cases with glass shelves and glass doors previously. I liked them and they do there job. Easy to install. These are custom from when I bought the home. But Ikea is a good economical solution in my opinion. You can add puck lighting to the Ikea ones also.
Flippin Magic!
wow, ive got every f1 champ and i thought i was doing well, any stirling moss
I am still missing the 1950, 2021, 2022 WC but those are finally on their way! Better to keep it focused otherwise you end up like me with over kill. I actually do not have a Stirling Moss. I should as he is a legend.
@@mycarcave6214 luv the collection..if only I had the money...I've still managed to get all f1 wc, not all in the same scale,I noticed some I've my models in your collection..well done

Yes I have a problem! Thanks for watching
You'll need to add the 1975 Brabham BT44B Martini cars to your collection.
I actually now have one but still in the box. Not sure why I have not pulled it out but trying to figure out where to put. Logically the Martini collection. I have a Jager F1 I also need to put out. That said good eye for noticing I have that missing.
There aren’t any Lancia Delta Martini
Hahaha!! Yes you are right that is sadly missing. Been too focused on F1 lately but I really should add that classic to the Martini collection.
where did you buy the cars?
Mostly from online dealers. It has changed over time as the internet has grown. Started with US and Canadian based dealers but now mostly German and French dealers. Some ebay for releases I missed out on originally or gaps in the collection. Sadly no local dealers where I live. When I lived over seas I would buy from local dealers.
Unbelievable.
I have had Corvettes/Dodges in the past but sold to make room as my interests change with the wind. ...was just at the WEC race in Austin and watching the Corvettes in person makes me think I should put some in the collection....though you are right the C7 is fantastic.... off to ebay I go!!!!!
holy cow I only have my jdm collections in 1/64😂😂 and now I can set my further target
WOW! Great! THX
Glad you like it! Thanks for watching
Nice
Super!
Thank you!
Where is your SF21 Formula 1 Car Cave
At the time I filmed this video I did not have it. I have since had to rearrange the display to place jt. Currently I have open slots for the missing 2021 cars such as Red Bull, Mercedes, Alfa, Haas. I tend to buy specific versions so I am still waiting on the release of the 2021 cars I want.
