Cool video! Your conclusion made me think of a C. Eastwood movie (I think it's called "Unforgiven" or something like that) where the main shtick of the protagonist is on the lines of "real gun fights are messy, it's not about who shoots the fastest but who can take the pressure and actually hit the important shots". Trying to play perfect all the time mostly just results in frustration, static habits and entitlement towards others, I think

One thing I don't often see people doing on youtube is analyzing LOSING games of good players. It's easier to make the right decisions in a winning game, and there's a lot of that content on youtube, but it would be interesting to see how these players cope with unfavorable odds, and what decisions they make to try to skew the probability back in their favor.

"It's not as much about winning the smooth games -It is about being able to win games like this, that are all over the place, and being able to compose yourself even if you haven't played the best"
That is very well said. In the recent PA game that I played and shared, everything you said applies so well. Some very obvious mistakes and death that could be avoided.
Facing a challenging lane. Then, composing yourself, even with a toxic and unhelpful team for the most part and focus to get farm where possible, even avoiding fights that could be important, while joining fights or solo-fighting and picking off, that could be very risky.
And then the ulimate risky purchase as well. The rapier. To sweeten the comeback and comitting everything.
Good inisghts as always. Keep up with the ending quotes, a summary of sorts. That's deep and helpful and relatable.

Bro, those are top 100 players, they are rarely toxic and even if they are toxic their toxic decisions are like "okay i will only split push for 10 min until i get my item" , even their toxic decisions are still an opportunity. This happens even in divine games, the one thats "griefing" is actually still contributing to the game with map control cuz he shoves waves and TPs on the other side of the map shoves a wave again and walks again on the other side... if they didnt grief they would play around the team and will try to capitalize in the teamfights, but shoving waves left and right is still contributing, maybe some fights will be lost but at least the "griefer" is taking heavy farm while hes tilted.

@@ashtonduda9971 PA is strong laner against some duos. And depends how u play it and how much can u outkite them and outcreep/denie them.
PA is strong with strong pos 5, for example if ur pos 5 is a great 1v1 combatian that means ur pos 5 will be taking good fights against their pos 4 and guess what? U have a blink, u can instsntly join and help. Sometimes its worth to miss a creep or 2 if it means to help ur pos 5 to outperform their pos 4.
Sometimes u can leave a whole wave to ur pos5 and u go and pull even if u are PA.
Support levels are more important than carry levels ON A HARD LANE.

    • @chrisr4023

For lower ranked players, its that just because your safe lane loses badly, it doesnt mean the game is gone. Look at the big picture and try to be useful for the team (in this case, farming safe and patiently)
I have played so many games where the enemy team focus on shutting down the safe lane and sacrificing other lanes. Our carry would tilt so hard and started throwing insults, even tho we are winning in every other aspects.

    • @Ex0rz

Paladin sword isnt that good on Ursa. Its just 16% lifesteal and 16 damage which really isnt that much. Brigands blade deals 10 damage per 10% missing hp, which stacks great with overpower. Plus Ursa benefits from that 10 % bonus attack speed a lot. Pretty sure people only buy LS on lower ranks to solo roshan early game.

      @animal10.05 ปีที่แล้ว

I understand that pros constantly hold onto their charges to get turn around kills but it surprises me they fall for it so often. I generally would do what you're suggesting and just use them as I have them, and I think the reason we end up this way is sometimes we die and we look at our inventory and there's this magic stick with 7 million charges and we're trying to avoid that shame. Dota is a tough game if you consider how many hotkeys there are sometimes just using the stick to get rid of another hotkey to remember has value to lower APM players. There is literally like 15+ hotkeys if you include inventory items. Sure, a lot of them are just alt+ an existing hotkey, but I'm not sure if that makes things better or worse.

maybe bc I'm only a divine scrub but I feel like this game is way too over analysed. Ursa is doing fine mostly just because his team is doing great and hard carrying him and making space for him to farm. at 7:59, look at how aggressive bh and es positioned. at 11:49, his team is still ahead despite there's a ultra kill morph and a 7 deaths ursa.
I'm sure Ursa player is good (15 mins bf in a shit lane game) but I don't think it's the main reason why he's able to come back from the horrible lane phase.
