"Willing participants" means the experiment is a failure from the beginning. When they know they're playing with a higher MMR player in an experiment, their natural behavior changes... for the better or worse.

@@parham1023 it doesn't matter... they know there's a smurf... normal play is... I join a ranked game and play for MMR thinking all the players are around the same MMR level, doing the exact same thing.
he shows concepts of how to not lose your mid tower while you are ganking for your team. Technically you can do the same thing on puck qop spirits pretty much any hero you want that you consider mid tier.

I feel like this is more of a guide on playing pos 3 from mid. I realize primal fits mid fine but from my experience most mids are either greedier farming heroes, or heroes like spirits that while they play active, are poor primary initiators. Its a good video I just think the information will be hard to use for alot of people's hero pools; would this play style be effective for anything other than melee strength heroes like tusk? I welcome input on this, I don't pretend to be better than BSJ.

As a Huskar main, this isnt the best guide for me.
As a midlaner it is often good to look at what your team lacks, you can play tanky heroes, initiator heroes, squishy dps heroes, and those "in and out" heroes. It is good to have a pool that contains a few of each "catergory", and of course there are under categories, like midgame heroes, lategame heroes etc. If your teamcomp needs a primal beast, you should play that style in order to increase the chance for +25
contrary to popular belief, the concept of positions and lanes doesn't actually constrict you to what hero you play, but how that hero can contribute in the game that could be considered as that role. I believe that this meta is fun because of how you can use heroes that used to only be seen as one role or the other, but now can be used in multiple roles.
Only problem of this is that the creativity is dampened by the community who are used to seeing the usual Safelsne Antimages and Midlaner Storms.
While I do think that AM shouldn't be played support, I truly hope that alot of heroes can be played in multiple roles and should be more accepted in the community.
@@maikoymokspg163 I agree with you, the hero diversity is part of what makes mid my favorite lane to play. Of course there's always support rikis and safelane linas, and everything under the sun when it comes to pubs, but midlane is the only position where almost every hero is viable in some scenario.

I was wondering if you might want to do a video on this topic. I think it’s obvious that meepo’s skills don’t fit the role that he is made for, that being a midlane carry. No BKB and being targeted means you have an awkward position to play in, which would be fine if you weren’t taking all your farm from your hard carry in the process. However, I think that if valve didn’t focus on trying to make him a carry, he could be altered to be a good offlaner. Having full map presence, a strong disable, and as a result can put out a ton of pressure on lanes and on enemy heroes as a set up for your teammates. Unfortunately, he isn’t balanced around this concept right now. If you were in full control of updating Meepo right now, what would you do to balance him around offlane play rather than mid lane play without removing his core concepts (clones, poof, probably net too)? This would have to be done such that it doesn’t make midlane meepo strong, but gives him a missing piece in his moveset either by replacing his passive or giving him a new shard ability or talent. I think he’s close to having a much more stable game as an offlaner if he was pushed that direction by a patch, as opposed to his weird and always low tier and awkward mid flash farm play style
This is especially due to the fact that as an offlaner, he doesn’t have to worry so much about being focused down and killed as he’s just a support/ offlaner.

Meepo scale with extremely well with lvl, you know, more lvl and poof~ his damage *2, a little bit more and poof~ *3
So nope - as long as his lvl is this important he will forever be a farmer with a priority of pos 1 or 2.
@@themaskedivy29 that’s what I’m saying, currently he doesn’t work with his moves to fulfill that purpose. But if you exchanged maybe the lifestea for something else, and instead of focusing on stats you focused on pushing lanes and ganking he would be fairly unique. Yeah, underlord has a root and a global ult too, but they’re hardly the same. Underlord has to wait for his ult to be on cooldown, and it can only help him tp to a single spot and back (or his entire team). Meepo on the other hand could do the same thing but in 5 different spots at once. He could carry auras to increase his survivability and aid the team at the same time like every other 4, but gain more from it personally thanks to it applying to all meepo’s. He would need an ability or two to be changed, and a different aghs shard, but I think it could work. If you make it so that he’s not gold dependent as much as he is now, he can get plenty of xp pushing lanes. An ability to help him push lanes safer than he can now without helping mid would help him do that. Even if he’s not stellar or is outclassed in some aspects by underlord, it’s better than being in the role he is in now. Unless they can rework him to not be so feast or famine in whether he wins the game or tanks it to hell, he’s gonna stay a Smurf hero forever
Plus he would be a way better gank hero than underlord, because he wouldn’t have to waste his ult to gank, and doesn’t need aghs scepter to make his ult a super good ganking tool like underlord. Don’t get me wrong, underlord is strong and so is his ult, especially when it has aghs for the root. But meepo is way more mobile and way more of a presence. He could ward enemy jungle, steal their farm, push lanes, and set up a gank at the same time with some alternate abilities

When you buy items on the main Meepo, the Meepo clones don't get their own copy of the item (except for boots) but they do get the stats. As such any item that gives stats is very good on Meepo since it gives 2-5x the value. Dragon lance is one of the most cost efficient items in the game in terms of stats, making it a popular mid game item on Meepo.

there is no such thing as a 3k meepo player. meepo players go directly from 200 mmr feeding idiots to 12k smurfs, there is no in between

I was the highest mmr player on dire team in this game and it was pretty much despair from the beginning, their team drafted and co-ordinated and we had 2 supports and 3 farming cores who just got walked on (literally lol). Would be interesting to see BSJ play more of a support role and point outmistakes rather than just crush 2ks with a snowball hero
The problem is 4k is literally already top 10% of the playerbase. It makes more sense for him to make videos for people below that.
