Titan Nuclear Missile Silo (Abandoned Cold War Era - 1960)

Operating from August 1960 to June 1965, this is 1 of 6 abandoned cold war era nuclear missile silos located in Colorado, just outside of Denver. These silos were designed for the Titan 1, one of the first intercontinental ballistic missiles the United States created. Since then, the silos have been completely abandoned and the property has been acquired by various owners.

Thanks for the video - 1 suggestion: We want to SEE things, you need to slow down a bit with either the camera work or the editing. Things going by too fast, can't pause to look at them because they are blurry, 1-2 sec shot of stuff then jump to a transition repeatedly etc. I'd love to visit a Titan 1 but it's a long way from New York to Colorado! Thanks again!

These are the largest of any missile silos in the United States they housed three missiles.

Unfortunately, they had concreted in 2 of the 3 silos there. Place was absolutely massive

@@abdi6132 there are a total of 6 Titan 1 missile silo bases in Colorado 4 are around the denver area one just East outside of Aurora go on Google Earth and search Titan 1 missile silo bases in Colorado it will show you the exact location of any missle base in the US.
